Description

The invention relates to a barrier, in particular for driveways, streets or the like. With a barrier post and a barrier, which can be pivoted at its end on the side of the barrier post via a handlebar articulated to it about its fixed articulation point on the barrier post. Such a barrier (preambles of claims 1,4,6 and 7) is known (DE-A1-36 24 973). In the known barrier, the turnpike is designed with a handlebar in the form of an obliquely extending support member which is articulated at the bottom of the barrier post. The post end of the turnpike is guided over rollers in the C-profile of the barrier post in a purely vertical direction. With this type of movement of the barrier, a certain amount of space is saved with regard to the maximum height in relation to the barrier width of the barrier, but the movement characteristics of the barrier are poor both when opening and closing the barrier and far from what is used by operators barriers are expected. The known barrier is therefore only suitable for manual operation. The support member which extends obliquely downward from the barrier post can also easily be damaged by motorists, so that the operability of the barrier is questionable. When the barrier is closed, the free end of the barrier, the barrier tip, usually rests in a support that is open at the top. However, this type of pad does not provide optimal protection against unauthorized opening of the barrier.

The invention also relates to a barrier, in particular for driveways, streets or the like. With a turnpole which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis and which is mounted near its one end perpendicularly to its longitudinal extent by means of a tree shaft and can be pivoted by approximately 90 ° , and is equipped with a drive and drive mechanism for the purpose of guided pivoting of the barrier. Such a barrier (generic terms of claims 2 and 5) is generally used at railroad crossings.

In the case of barriers, the turnstile is given a swiveling movement which must meet certain conditions. The opening process should initially be carried out relatively quickly, but the transition to the vertical position of the barrier should be gradual. The closing process, in turn, should be carried out relatively slowly. In both cases, smooth transitions are sought. In addition, a fixed mounting of the turnpike should be possible in both end positions.

The invention is concerned with the task of designing barriers in such a way that, in addition to the actual pivoting movement of the barrier, a problem-free retraction of the barrier tip into a holder which is closed on all sides, in particular upwards, is possible. This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claims 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 or 7, claim 3 showing an advantageous further development of the barrier according to claim 2.

In principle, the invention is based on the fact that, at the beginning of the opening process, the turnpike or at least the tip performs an axial movement, so that the turntable tip is released from the bush receiving the turntable tip in the closed position and the actual pivoting action of the turntable can be carried out. In the closed position the turnpike cannot be moved or even lifted that barriers secured by the invention against "vandalism" have been created.

A swinging gate is known (US-A-4 333 268, FIG. 6) which has a vertical post, a swinging gate barrier which is pivotable and axially movable about a vertical axis and one which is horizontal Axle on the post pivotable and retractable handlebar, the other end is hinged to the pivot locking part. In the closed position, the tip of the pivot locking part rests in a channel which is open at the top but closed in the opening direction, so that the pivoting process for opening the door can only be started after an axial movement has been carried out.

Any control and drive device is possible that can give the turnstile this axial movement, i.e. a motor but also a manual drive.

In der Schließstellung befindet sich der Schlagbaum 110 mit seiner Spitze in einer Buchse 16, die in einer Wand 15 ortsfest gehaltert ist.1 in Fig. 1 is a turnpike, which is pivotally mounted in a barrier post 130 so that it can be brought from the horizontal position shown into a vertical position. In the closed position, the turnpike 110 is located with its tip in a bushing 16 which is fixed in a wall 15.

Within the barrier post 130 near the end of the barrier 110, a link 101 is attached, which on the one hand is pivotable with the barrier via a joint 102 110 and is pivotally connected to the barrier post via a fixed hinge 103.

At the post-side end of the turnpike 110, a joint 104 is attached, to which a further link 105 is fastened, which in turn can be pivoted relative to the barrier post via a fixed joint 106.

The handlebar 101 can perform a pivoting movement, which is indicated in the drawing by the arrow 136. In contrast, the handlebar 105 only performs smaller pivoting movements, as indicated by the arrow 107.

If the turnpike 110 is to be brought out of the position shown, then both links 101 and 105 first pivot clockwise. This allows the barrier tip to come out of the socket 16. Now the handlebar 101 continues to carry out the swivel movement already started, but the point 104 of the handlebar 105 remains relatively stationary for a certain period of time, so that the turnpike 110 can carry out a 90 ° swivel movement around the point 104 in the counterclockwise direction. It reaches its vertical position, at the end of this process the handlebar 105 performs a slight pivoting movement in the counterclockwise direction.

In the horizontal position of the turnpike 110 in Fig. 1, this can in a trough-shaped recess in Find barrier posts so that it is fixed in three directions and therefore there is no possibility of violently moving the barrier out of this position by unauthorized persons.

With 10 in Fig. 3 a turnpike is shown in the horizontal, the closed, position. At the left-hand end it can be seen that the turnpike 10 is arranged within a bush 16, which in turn is part of a wall 15, i. H. is attached in a stationary manner and in particular is closed at the top. It can be seen that in this position the barrier cannot be opened by unauthorized persons.

Within the barrier post of a barrier, which is only shown in outline, the barrier boom 10 can be pivoted about a barrier boom shaft 12. The shaft itself is not shown in detail, but it can be seen that it is possible to pivot about 90 ° perpendicular to the paper plane around the point denoted by 12.

According to the invention, the turnpike 10 is held in a bushing 11 so that it can be moved back and forth in the longitudinal direction. This means that the turnpike 10 can perform longitudinal movements relative to the bushing 11, the bushing 11 and the turnpike 10 being able to carry out pivoting movements about the axis 12.

At the end of the turnpike 10 there is a control cam 13. This can essentially be one act cylindrical pin, which is aligned perpendicular to the paper plane. The free end of this drive cam is guided within a track 14 which is fixed in place on a plate or another component of the barrier. It can be seen that the track 14 initially has an essentially horizontal part 20, which merges via a curved transition 22 into an essentially straight part 21 directed obliquely downwards and finally into a horizontal outlet 23.

If the drive cam 13 is driven so that it performs the movement predetermined by the track 14, the turnpike 10 is first moved axially to the right. This is followed by a mixed movement, with the tip of the turnpike being pivoted as well as performing a vertical movement downwards. The same takes place in the area 21, the end position of the barrier being reached in the lower area 23.

The track 14 shown in Figure 3 is only shown schematically to simplify the explanation, it is obvious that the cam track can be designed in any way that corresponds to the operator's ideas of the barrier.

During this guided movement of the barrier, the drive is relieved, because the movement of the barrier itself causes the barrier's own weight to result in a downward force that relieves the drive.

110' in Vertikallage. The embodiment shown in Fig. 2 shows in outline the barrier post and the barrier 110 in the horizontal position and 110 'in the vertical position. At the end of the turnpike 110 there is a control cam 134, which essentially corresponds to the control cam 13 already described in connection with FIG. 3. The control cam 134 runs in a track 114, which has an essentially horizontal part 120, a curved area 122 and one has an obliquely downward part 121 and a curved outlet 123.

In dieser Lage steht der Schlagbaum in seiner vertikalen Stellung 110'.At 132, a handlebar 101 is articulated to the turnpike 110, which in turn is fixed, but articulated, at 103. Point 132 runs from the closed position to the end position 102 'on a circular arc. At the same time, the control cam 134 runs in the track 114 into the lower layer 104 '. In this position the turnpike is in its vertical position 110 '.

If one considers the path of movement of the point 132 and the control cam 134 in FIG. 2, it can be seen that when the barrier is opened, a relatively large resolution of the pivoting process of the barrier boom 110 is possible. By a suitable choice of the length of the handlebar 101 and the design of the track 114, the movement characteristics of the turnpike can be optimally adjusted.

Instead of a track 114 with two ends, a closed (endless) cam track could also be used, so that the drive cam 134 is driven on a closed path, the drive taking place only in one direction. It could a chain with a pin can also be used according to the invention, which in turn is connected to the drive cam 134 at the end of the turnpike. In this way, the desired movement of the barrier could be generated via a chain driven and guided in a certain path.

In a further embodiment of the barrier according to the invention (FIG. 4), the barrier is not pivoted about an axis which passes through the axis of the barrier, but about a shaft arranged at a distance from the axis of the barrier. The connection is made by a handlebar, which is aligned vertically in the open position of the turnpike. With the aid of this drive mechanism, a particularly good movement characteristic of the barrier is generated, as has already been explained in the introduction.

In the figures, 210 shows the post of a barrier, which usually protrudes vertically in the order of one meter from the floor. A turnpike 211 is pivotally attached to this post, which can be pivoted from the horizontal position shown in FIG. 4 into a vertical position. The barrier can have any shape, but in the area shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 it has a hollow box shape, as can be clearly seen from FIG. 5.

In the interior of the barrier tree 211 and from below through an opening through the barrier tree 211, two rollers 213 and 214 roll in the area of the upper inner limit of the Turnpike 211. The two rollers 213 and 214 are hinged to a pivot plate 212, which in turn is hinged to the post 210 at 215. It can be seen that the support plate 212 takes part in the pivoting movement of the barrier tree 211 and, furthermore, through the arrangement of the rollers 213 and 214 in the barrier tree 211 there is the possibility that the barrier tree 211 can be moved horizontally in the horizontal position, as can be seen for example by X in Fig. 4 is indicated. The creation of this movement is described below.

At the left-hand end of the barrier 211, a link 220 is fastened at 222, which in turn is pivotally driven at 221. This is illustrated by the arrow shown in FIG. 4. It is obvious that the turnstile 211 is converted from the horizontal position shown in FIG. 4 into a vertical position by pivoting the handlebar 220 counterclockwise by 180 °.

The handlebar 220 is in the form of a double lever, that is, it extends substantially diametrically to the part between the joints 221 and 222. Another part projects downwards (when viewed according to FIG. 4), the lower part being formed with a transversely extending pin, pulling device or the like. In the position shown in FIG. 4, this pin 223 is located on a stop 225. FIG. 4 shows the barrier tree 211 immediately before the closing process has ended, the barrier tree 211 already being in the horizontal position. Up to this point, the handlebar 220 has been driven clockwise, the upper part of the handlebar 220 has reached the vertical position shown in FIG. 4. The drive, which is active about the axis 221, continues to try to turn the upper part of the handlebar 220 clockwise, but this is not possible because the pin 223 abuts the stop 225. As a result, the drive now pivots the handlebar 220 about the axis 223, likewise clockwise. This results in a movement in which the articulation point 222 is moved to the right by the distance X, as shown in FIG. 4. In other words, the barrier 211 executes a horizontal movement, so that the tip of the barrier, not shown, can be inserted into a bushing.

This movement described is finally ended by the fact that the handlebar 220 acts on a spring 224 which counteracts this movement.

During the opening process, a horizontal movement of the barrier 211 from right to left is first carried out (when viewing FIG. 4). This initial movement is supported by the tensioned spring 224. When the position shown in FIG. 4 is reached, the drive acting around the axis 221 can, however, perform a pure rotary movement of the articulation point 222 around the circular arc shown, so that the turn boom 211 is transferred into the vertical position.

In Figure 6, the turnpike is indicated by its axis 410. The end opposite the tip of the barrier is designated 400, and an endless chain 401 is attached to this end, which over Deflection wheels runs and is driven by a reversing drive 430.

The end 400 of the barrier is guided in a horizontal track 402. Furthermore, a link 420 is articulated at the end 400 of the turnpike, the other end of which is guided in a track which has a horizontal region 421 with the length X, a part 422 which is curved downwards and a part 423 which leads vertically downwards.

If the end 400 of the barrier is guided to the right in order to open the barrier in the lane 402, the free end of the link 420 reaching the end of the lane 423, the axis of the barrier takes the vertical direction 410 shown in the figure. It is obvious that the path X, not shown, makes a purely horizontal movement starting from the closed position through the distance X of the tracks 402 and 421.

Mit 450 ist ein Gestänge bezeichnet, das um eine Schwenkachse verschwenkbar ist und Rollen für die Kette 401 haltert, so daß das Gestänge 450 auf die Spannung in der Kette 401 beim Einschalten des Antriebes 430 anspricht.450 is a linkage that is pivotable about a pivot axis and holds rollers for the chain 401, so that the linkage 450 responds to the tension in the chain 401 when the drive 430 is switched on.

With 460 locking and pawl parts are shown, which enable the barrier to be locked in the horizontal position. The locking parts 460 respond to tensions in the chain 401, so that at the beginning of the opening process using the spring and one Voltage monitor 440, the locking parts 460 reach the opening position shown in FIG. 6 and enable the opening process of the barrier.

The embodiment shown in FIG. 7 has parts which already contain the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, so that corresponding reference numbers have been used.

The drive cam 132 is articulated via the handlebar 101 to a stationary rotating arm 724, but at the same time to a further rod 722.

The other end of the rod 722 is pivotally connected to a swivel arm 723. Finally, a further cam 725, which is likewise guided in the track 114, is fastened to the turnpike 110 in the vicinity of the drive cam 132.

By moving the swivel drive 723, the turnpike 110 first performs a purely axial movement out of the horizontal position until it reaches its vertical position.
