Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dosierspeicher gemäß Gattungsbegriff des Hauptanspruches. The invention relates to a metering memory according to the preamble of the main claim.

Such a metering memory is known from EP-A O 248 341. In the metering store there, the filling / dispensing openings are formed in the flat, large-area bottom area of the lid. However, there is a risk that items of laundry may come into contact with the openings and clog them during use of the metering memory, so that the delivery of the laundry treatment liquid per unit of time can be very uneven. In addition, the air emerging from the openings when filling can impair the filling process. Furthermore, the stability in the lid area is not very high.

In other known solutions (US Pat. No. 3,399,806), the openings are designed as windows provided in the bottom region in the jacket wall of an insert. The advantage of these solutions is that they are practically completely empty. Depending on how the storage body is inclined, the liquid runs out mostly like pouring out of a bottle. In the exact overhead position, the even leakage is severely disturbed by the incoming air. The running in of water through the same openings, which water has been found to have a favorable dilution and rinsing effect, disturbs the even outflow even more. The same disruptive effect that occurs when water flows into the cylindrical, neck-shaped depression and through the windows is also present when this dosing reservoir is filled through the openings, for example for a second use. Attempts have already been made to improve these disadvantages by dividing them into outlet and fill openings (DE-GM 85 09 898), at least one fill opening and several outlet openings being provided. In particular, a dosing storage container is proposed on the one hand, which has a filling opening that can be closed with a lid that which has outlet openings. This version has the disadvantage that the outlet openings are not recessed, so can easily be spanned by a piece of laundry, which can also falsify the delivery per time. In another solution variant of the cited utility model, this disadvantage is avoided in that a filling funnel which is permanently assigned to the storage container is provided as a central tube, which has the filling openings in the lower region and has the outlet openings within the funnel wall near the upper funnel edge. With regard to this version, extensive tests have found that the distinction between the filling opening and the outlet opening is based on a factual error: the laundry treatment liquid initially runs out of the filling opening when the dosing reservoir is embedded in the laundry and circulates within the washing machine drum or the like. In view of the special solution provided with the central funnel tube, this even leads to a maximum non-uniform delivery of the laundry treatment liquid in such a way that in the beginning the amount flowing out per unit of time is a multiple of what is still flowing out of the dosing reservoir when the liquid level is in the overhead position of the dosing reservoir the content falls below the level of the filling openings. There is also the disadvantage that the liquid is again released in a manner similar to pouring out from a normal bottle neck. Furthermore, the filling and running-in of liquid is not optimal. Splashing of liquid easily occurs during pouring. The filling openings are too central for water to flow in to flush out the storage tank.

The object of the present invention is to design a metering store of the generic type in such a way that, in addition to the advantage of dispensing quantities as uniformly as possible in an improved area distribution, on the one hand the inflow of liquid is optimized, be it for pouring in the laundry treatment liquid and / or running in water during the work process, and on the other hand a residual start of the laundry treatment liquid is promoted by the optimal storage position.

This is achieved by the invention specified in the main claim. The subclaims represent advantageous developments.

As a result of this configuration, there is a metering store for holding and dispensing a laundry treatment liquid in a washing machine or the like, in which, in addition to a convenient filling / running in through the openings, there is also a uniform dispensing over time, with a favorable area distribution. The central elevation avoids a completely free straight connection between the openings. It not only prevents the openings from being closed by items of laundry, but also promotes the distribution of liquid during the circulation movement during the workflow. The dispensing dosage can even be adjusted well via the dimensions of the openings without impairing the filling advantages. The dome-shaped elevation also favors filling; the increase causes a distribution by draining the liquid and promotes a laminar, vortex-free running-in. Due to the steeply tapering shape of the dome, the liquid flows out of the dome without vortexing, so that openings to the outside are never completely filled with product and air can escape there. This flow movement of the liquid to the holes optimizes the liquid passage in such a way that in particular no splashes, bubbles or the like occur. There is also the advantage that the risk of overfilling is extremely low. It can be seen in good time that the liquid level is now approaching the height of the floor area. The dome-shaped shape of the elevation serves to even out the rolling movement in the washing machine or the like, which also contributes to making the dispensing amount even. The rest of the dome remaining in the dome provides an orientation with its weight parameters to favor the optimal storage location for the remaining spout. Overall, however, this shape also offers that of the optimal stability of the storage body against deformations under loads caused by the laundry or centrifugal force; Even metering memories made of relatively thin plastic material can withstand relatively high loads due to their corresponding shape. If the gutter and dome are provided on a separate cover part, the remaining container area can even be deformable, be it by pressure in the hand or even deformable under the workload inside the washing machine or the like. The fact that it protrudes from the top of the dome is favorable from a dispensing point of view; especially for unrolling.

  • Fig. 1 den Dosierspeicher in Ansicht,
  • Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht hierzu,
  • Fig. 3 einen Schnitt gemäß Linie III-III der Fig. 1,
Further advantages and details result from the following description of an embodiment of the invention, shown in the drawing: It shows
  • 1 the dosing reservoir in view,
  • 2 is a plan view of this,
  • 3 shows a section along line III-III of FIG. 1,
  • Fig. 4 shows a half section through a slightly modified shape of the lid.

This has the openings 2, which are arranged in the bottom region 3 of an annular trough 4 which has the same cross section. The ring gutter 4 extends concentrically to a dome-shaped elevation 5. The dome apex 5 'of this dome-shaped elevation projects beyond the gutter apex edge 3'. Trough and dome are provided on a clip 1 'clipped onto the storage body 1'. The snap-in projections 6 shown in FIG. 3 on the pot edge serve for clipping on 7 of the lid 1 'in cooperation with counter-projections 6' on a collar-shaped circumferential step 8 of the container part 1.

Der Dosierspeicherbehälter besitzt darüber hinaus die Maßmarkierungen 10.The dosing storage container also has the dimensional markings 10.

In the exemplary embodiment, the storage container 1 is essentially designed as a ball. The lid attachment joint 11 for part 1 'sits above the center of the sphere KM. It extends in a secant plane to this sphere. The bottom area of the channel is also on such a secant level.

Number and dimensioning of the openings 2 depend on the one hand on the consistency of the laundry treatment liquid, e.g. Liquid detergent and on the other hand essentially according to the intended dispensing amount per time. The conditions for the filling process can then be adjusted via the size of the trough, in particular its cross section, or it is provided that the cover is removed for filling, which of course enables the fastest filling.

In the solution according to Fig. 4, the lid 1 'is equipped with a gutter vertex edge 3a, which runs in a relatively large, almost uniform curvature - comparable to the inside dimension of the gutter 4 - from the circumferential surface of the accumulator into the bottom area equipped with the openings 2 . This brings with the transition area U a good roll even if the dome apex 5˝ does not protrude from the top edge 3a deviating from a dosing reservoir according to claim 1. On the other hand, this also brings enlarged run-off surfaces for the laundry treatment liquid after it has passed through the openings 2. These extend on the outside of the gutter to a higher level N than on the inside facing the dome apex 5 ', 5.. The cover with the stabilizing collar 12 can be put on.
