Abstract

A lock comrises a catch (5) and bolt (4), which can be actuated by a lock cylinder (22), the catch (5) also being retractable by a pusher nut (8), and a catch locking slide (35). In the locked position, said slide blocks the catch (5) and in the release position, in which it can be adjusted by means of the pusher nut (8) or the lock cylinder (22), it releases the catch (5). The locking slide (35) can be displaced from the release position to the locked position by pressing on the catch. The locking slide (35) is connected via a lever system (39, 40, 41) to the safety bolt (4) in such a way that the latter is pushed out of the lock when the locking slide (35) is displaced from the release position to the locked position by application of pressure to the catch (5).

Description

The invention relates to a lock with latch and locking bolt, which can be operated from a lock cylinder, and in which the latch can also be retracted by a follower, and with a lock, in the latched position of which the latch is locked against insertion, and which in one Release position, in which it is adjustable with the help of the follower or the lock cylinder, the latch releases, the lock passes when the door equipped with the lock falls from the release position into the locking position.

Such a lock is known from US-A-3,672,714. In this lock, the lock comprises a lever that in its one position, moved by a trigger button, with its one part designed in the manner of a nose-like projection, reaches the area of a cutout of the trap and thus stops it against further inclusion. The lock according to US-A-3 672 714 therefore requires a trigger button.

The task is to simplify the triggering of a lock when the door is slammed, in particular to be able to do without an additional button.

This task is solved by a lock at the beginning mentioned type, in which the lock comprises a locking slide, which can be transferred from the release position into the latched latching position by pressing in and then moving the latch out of the lock housing.

For this purpose, the locking slide is connected to the locking bolt via a lever linkage in such a way that when the locking slide is moved from the release position into the locking position when the latch is pressed, the locking bolt is moved out of the lock.

There are various possibilities for the person skilled in the art to implement such a linkage and to design an operative connection between the locking slide and the bolt. It is also possible to extend the bolt in different lengths. Since the locking slide is an essential part for locking the lock latch, it also makes sense to design the linkage so that it also pushes the bolt into the closed position when the locking slide moves.

The locking slide and lever linkage are preferably acted upon by a spring which presses the locking slide into the locked position.

A lock 1 according to Figures 1 and 2 has a cuff 2, a lock case 3 with lock base 3 ', a bolt 4, a latch 5, a tumbler 6, which is acted upon by a tumbler spring 57 perpendicular to the direction of movement of the bolt 4. The top tumbler 6, the bolt 4 and a bottom latch bolt tumbler 53 form three sliding parts. There is also a follower 8, which is acted upon by a nut spring 9 via an intermediate piece 10. The follower 8 runs out in an arm 29 which engages with a nose 30 on the trap tail 5 ', the trap 5 has a trap head 5' and the trap tail 5 '. The latch 5 is acted upon by a latch spring 11 in the direction out of the cuff 2. The trap tail 5 'is provided with an elongated hole 12 which passes through a guide pin 13. The trap 5 also has a tunnel-shaped recess 15 which is traversed by the trap end 16 'of a change lever 16.

The change lever 16 has an approximately J-shaped shape, is provided with a short hole guide 17 and is mounted there on a pin 18 with a mirror. The change lever 16 carries at its lower thickened end 16˝ via a hinge 19 a driver 20. Against the lower end of the stop 20 'of the driver 20 bumps the lock bit 21 of a lock cylinder 22. Furthermore, the driver 20 has an elongated hole guide 23 in which a bolt 24 slides, which is fixed on the tumbler 6.

In the central region of the change lever 16, a pull tab 26 is also articulated at 26 ', which has at its distal end a slot guide 27 into which a stud 28 engages, which in turn is connected to the arm 29 of the follower 8.

The latch 5 is provided with a recess 32 on its underside. In the state shown, a pawl 33 engages in this recess 32, which is mounted at 34 and falls out of its latched position in accordance with the force of gravity when it is not held. Below the pawl 33, a locking slide 35 is installed, which is limited horizontally movable within a slot guide 23, which is embedded in the lock base 3 '.

On its front side, the locking slide 35 has a run-up nose 35 ', which prevents the locking pawl 33 from falling in the extreme left position according to FIG. The locking slide 35 also has on the run-up nose 35 'opposite side a stop surface 35', which presses against the upper end of a toggle lever 39. The locking slide 35 itself also has a locking device, namely a recess 37 which cooperates with a spring-loaded catch 38.

The toggle lever 39 forms with a tab lever 40 and an engagement lever 41 a three-part linkage, which is mounted at 42 'and 42' on the lock base 3 '. On the free toggle lever end 39 'presses a spring 31, which thus both the locking slide 35 to the left and presses the bolt 4 to the left, the linkage 39, 40, 41 acting as a mediator.

The linkage 39, 40, 41 enables the interaction of locking slide 35 and bolt 4. The latter is provided with a recess 44, with a stop surface 44 'on the left and a stop surface 44 Anschlag on the right side and stops for the engagement lever 41 form. The upper toggle lever 39 asked for an angular shape with a 90 ° position and can adjust the locking slide 35. The tab lever 40 is attached to the opposite end of the toggle lever 39. He is thus moved by the short end of the knee-shaped engagement lever 41 when the latter rotates. Conversely, the free end of the engagement lever pushes the bolt 4 inward when the former rotates in the opposite direction.

By appropriate changes in the lever linkage 39, 40, 41, it is possible to vary the extension length of the bolt.

The end of the catch 38 is provided with an attached stud 43; the locking slide 35 carries a further stud 45. The studs 43 and 45 mentioned are affected on their outer flanks by grooves 46 and 47, which are worked out on the inside of the change lever 16 and which, when the change lever is rotated and moved, the studs 43 and 45 in move to be described later.

Another complex of functions begins with an elongated hole tab 50 attached to the follower 8, which is fastened at 50 'to the follower 8 so that it can rotate. The elongated hole flap 50 is provided with an elongated hole 51 over more than half of its length, into which a stud 52 snaps in a rotationally displaceable manner. This stud 52 in turn stands on the lower lock bolt tumbler 53, which has approximately the shape of a rhombus. The lock bolt tumbler 53 has on its inner, vertical outer side a guide slot 54 which slides along a guide pin 55 which is square in cross section. On the lock bolt tumbler 53, a locking pin 56 is also placed in its upper region, on which the end of the spring 57 presses from above. The lock bolt tumbler 53 runs in its lower part into a tongue 58, which in turn strikes from the inside against the stop end 20 'of the driver 20 and accordingly can also raise the lock bolt tumbler 53 when the driver is lifted.

The tumbler 6, which is provided with two latching recesses 60 and 61, lies on the bolt 4. The respective tour positions are defined by latching the locking pin 56. The tumbler 6 is arranged over the tail 4 'of the bolt 4 and follows its contours. The tumbler 6 carries the bolt 24 which projects up and down. Upwards it forms a guide element in the slot guide 23, downwards it projects into a further slot guide 63. Furthermore, a main pin 64 is provided, which leads both the tumbler 6 and the tail 4 'of the bolt 4 in corresponding recesses. Both parts 6 and 4 are also provided on their underside with a touring recess or a touring stop 65, in which the cam 21 engages when rotating.

FunktionsbeschreibungFunctional description

The lock described below should be able to perform the following functions by mechanical means:
1.
In the non-closed state (bolt 4 inside), by turning the follower 8, the lock latch 5 be drawn in.
2nd
In the non-closed state, when the handle is not rotated and the latch sloping on the latch head 5 ', the latch 4 should jump out and lock the door.
3rd
At the same time as the bolt 4 pops out, the latch should be locked against further pressing.
4th
Depending on the position of the bolt 4, it should be possible to turn out two or another tours with the help of the locking bit 21.
5.
The unscrewed bolt should be pulled in by pressing the latch down ("panic function"). These aforementioned functions essential to the invention are explained below with reference to the figures.

Öffnen der TürOpening the door

Diese Bewegung geht der kurz darauf erfolgenden Bewegung der Falle 5 voraus, die damit frei ist und sich nach rechts bewegen kann.FIGS. 1 to 4 each show two levels of the lock when the handle is actuated and the follower nut 8 rotates with it. The arm 29 of the nose 30 of the handle after a play of a few millimeters has passed the end 5 laufen of the latch 5 pressed. During this movement, the change lever 16 is rotated clockwise around the hinge 19 via the pull tab 26, the grooves 46 and 47 pressing the stud bolts 43 and 45 to the right with a certain play-related delay. Here, the locking slide 35 presses to the right and releases the pawl. This movement precedes the movement of the trap 5 which follows shortly thereafter and is free and can move to the right.

In addition, the bolt 4 is in its extreme left position after two closing tours. Before the rotary movement of the nut 8, the bolt 4 is held against the locking pins 56 from turning back. By turning the nut 8, the elongated hole flap moves upward and pulls the lock bolt retainer 53 upward via the stud bolt 52 against the pressure of the spring 57. Thus, the locking slide pulled to the right over the stud bolt 45 can rotate the knee lifter 39 clockwise and hold the linkage 39, 40, 41 in such a way that the engagement lever 41 presses with the long arm against the bolt 4. This is adjusted inwards. This is the so-called "panic opening".

Freilauf bei offener TürFreewheel with the door open

If the bolt 4 is on the inside, it should not be moved. The elements moved during the movement of the nut 8 now have no influence on the bolt. However, with rotation of the lock bit 21 of the driver 20 upwards and with it the change lever 16 can be rotated so that the latch end 16 'of the change lever 16 presses the trap inwards. This function is also known per se in such locks.

Schließen der TürClosing the door

Another sequence of movements occurs, however, if the latch 5 is on the outside and the latch slope is pressed inwards with a stop in the door frame by tightening the door. So that the trap-side end 16 'of the change lever 16 moves clockwise. Again, the two studs 43 and 45 are moved. The catch 38 disengages and releases the locking slide 35, which moves in the direction of cuff 2. This is due to the force of the spring 31. Thus, the pawl 33 is pressed upwards over the nose 35 'and snaps when the spring-loaded fall back of the case 5 in the recess 32. The case can therefore no longer be pressed back into the lock with wire hooks or bank cards .

During this movement of the locking slide 35 to the left, the bolt 4 is also pressed to the left. This is done via the lever linkage 39, 40, 41. The bolt 4 is released because the driver 20 and its stop end 20 'raises the tongue 58 of the lock bolt tumbler 53 and thus disengages the locking pin 56. After the bolt 4 has made a tour to the left, the lock bolt tumbler 53 lowers again when the latch 5 snaps out.

The one-turn bolt 4 can also be rotated for a second tour by the lock bit 21 grips the bolt end 4 'and rotates a second time with the lock bolt tumbler 53 raised. Conversely, it is also possible to open the bolt with clockwise rotation of the lock bit 21 in a clockwise direction and to pull the latch 5 via the driver 20 and the change lever 16 into the lock, as is known per se with such mortise locks.

As a result, the lock described above performs all the "usual" functions of a lock; In addition, however, it can also perform other functions as explained at the beginning of the functional description.
