Abstract

In order, in the case of an installation unit with a case frame and a stand capable of resting on a bare floor, to avoid a welded connection between the case frame and the stand, the stand (13) possesses vertical connecting elements (20) arranged at a distance from the two vertical profiled sheet-metal parts (12) of the case frame (10). These connecting elements (20) have a cross-sectional profile making it possible for them to be brought into fitting engagement with the vertical profiled sheet-metal parts (12) of the case frame (10). In this state, the connecting elements (20) can be permanently fastened to the case frame (10) by a series of pressed joining points (cold-pressed junction points). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to an installation block with a frame frame made of profiled sheet metal parts, which is connected to a support frame which can be supported on a bare floor and is made of profile elements welded to one another and to which at least one sanitary body and the supply and disposal lines are fastened, while fittings and, if appropriate, a cistern are arranged.

Such an installation block is e.g. B. known from DE-Gm 79 14 421 or from DE-OS 36 17 617. In these constructions, the supporting frame that can be supported on the bare floor is welded to the two vertical profiled sheet metal parts of the frame frame by means of corresponding cross-section tubes. This type of connection has the disadvantage that the frame frame with the supporting frame can only be provided with a rust protection coating, usually a zinc coating, after the welding work has been completed. This is cumbersome and expensive, since galvanized steel sheet can be used from the outset for the manufacture of the frame frame.

The invention has for its object to eliminate the above shortcomings and to provide an installation block in which the frame frame is connected to the support frame so that previously on the frame frame and Support frame applied rust protection coatings, preferably zinc coatings are not damaged.

According to the invention the above object is achieved in that
  • a) the support frame has two vertical connecting elements which are arranged at a distance from the two vertical profiled sheet metal parts of the frame frame,
  • b) the connecting elements are profiled so that they engage in the vertical profiled sheet metal parts of the frame and
  • c) the connecting elements are fastened to the profiled sheet metal parts of the frame frame by numerous pressing points. These press joints are produced by local cold deformation of the profiled sheet metal parts of the frame frame and the connecting elements of the supporting frame, so that rust protection coatings, in particular zinc coatings, are not damaged. The frame frame can therefore advantageously be made of galvanized sheet steel, and the support frame made of welded steel profile elements can be galvanized for itself or provided with another rust protection coating before it is connected to the frame frame. This makes the installation block more economical to produce compared to the prior art. The connecting elements of the support frame also advantageously reinforce the vertical profiled sheet metal parts of the frame, so that the installation block is not only suitable for "walling" in brick walls, but above all also for installation in lightweight walls or cavities between brick walls and front wall panels (dry lining). You need for the latter application, advantageously do not use additional reinforcing slide-in plates, as is required for the installation block according to DE-OS 36 17 617.

Embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims. If the support frame has two horizontal spaced profile elements in a known manner, at the ends of which the connection elements are welded, which engage from the inside in the profiled sheet metal parts of the frame frame, the assembly of the frame frame with the support frame is simplified. The frame can namely simply be pushed onto the connection elements of the support frame, whereupon the connection between these parts can be made by pressing.

If, according to a further development of the invention, the overall height of the connection elements corresponds at most to half the overall height of the frame frame, a material and thus weight saving is achieved with a generally sufficient stiffening of the frame frame by the connection elements.

If, according to a further development of the invention, at least the lower of the two horizontal profile elements of the supporting frame is a sheet metal part with a flat, essentially U-shaped cross section, which essentially closes the open underside of the frame frame, this sheet metal part advantageously fulfills a double function. The required closure of the frame frame, which is open at the bottom, by means of a separate closure element is thus unnecessary.

Another development of the invention is thereby characterized in that at least the two vertical profiled sheet metal parts of the frame frame and the connecting elements of the support frame each have an outwardly open, flat, substantially U-shaped cross section with laterally projecting flanges. On the one hand, this makes it easier to push the frame frame onto the connection elements of the supporting frame, and on the other hand, this cross-sectional profile of the frame frame also enables "walling" in brick walls or installation in lightweight walls. In the latter case, the flanges projecting outwards on the vertical parts of the frame frame come into contact with the vertical profile rails of the load-bearing structure of the lightweight wall. In the so-called "walling-in" of the installation block, the flat, outwardly open cavity on the vertical parts of the frame frame serves as a receiving space for the mortar.

Another advantageous development of the invention is characterized in that sections are bent at right angles from the laterally projecting flanges of the profiled sheet metal parts of the frame frame, to which cladding panels or plaster support elements etc. can be fastened.

The installation block shown in Figures 1 to 3 has a frame frame (10), which comprises a head profile sheet metal part (11) and two vertical profile sheet metal parts (12). The profiled sheet metal parts (11 and 12) of the frame frame (10) are integrally connected to each other and they have the same in the Figures 11 to 14 shown cross-sectional profile. In particular, the profiled sheet metal parts (11 and 12) are first formed as an elongated part in the folding process and then released at two predetermined bending points so that they can be angled through 90 ° there in order to obtain the frame frame (10) in the form of an inverted U. .

The frame frame (10) is connected below to a support frame (13), which will be explained in more detail. In the exemplary embodiment, this support frame (13) comprises a lower cross member (14), on which two upwardly projecting, parallel arranged profile rails (15) with an open, U-shaped cross section are welded symmetrically. The support frame (13) and thus the installation block are supported on a bare floor by means of two threaded bolts (16). In the laterally projecting end parts of the cross bars (14) there is a vertical hole for the passage of a threaded bolt (16). The height of the support frame (13) and thus the entire installation block can be adjusted by means of two nuts (17) screwed onto each threaded bolt (16). Foot plates (18) are welded to the lower ends of the two threaded bolts (16).

On the two upwardly projecting rails (15) of the support frame (13) two profiled sheet metal parts (19a and 19b) are attached at a distance from each other, for. B. welded, which have a flat U-shaped cross section (Fig. 8). The lower horizontal profiled sheet metal part (19a) essentially closes the underside of the frame frame (10) which is open per se (FIG. 2). At the outer ends of the profiled sheet metal parts (19a and 19b) connection elements (20) are welded, which are vertical and parallel to each other in a certain mutual distance are arranged, which corresponds to the mutual distance of the vertical profiled sheet metal parts (12) of the frame frame (10).

Aussteifung der Profilblechteile (12) des Zargenrahmens (10).As can be seen from FIGS. 2, 8 and 9, the horizontal profiled sheet metal parts (19a and 19b) are welded with their front edges to the two vertical profiled rails (15). The two vertical profiled sheet metal parts (12) of the frame frame (10) and the connection elements (20) of the support frame (13) each have an open, flat, substantially U-shaped cross section with flanges (21) and () projecting laterally outwards. 22). The connection elements (20) are adapted in their arrangement and with respect to their cross-sectional profile to the two vertical profiled sheet metal parts (12) of the frame frame (10) so that the frame frame (10) with the profiled sheet metal parts (12) are pushed onto the connecting elements (20) from above can, the connecting elements (20) coming into suitable engagement with the profiled sheet metal parts (12) (FIG. 11). Then the profiled sheet metal parts (12) of the frame frame (10) are firmly connected to the connecting elements (20) of the supporting frame (13) by a series of press joints or local cold press connections (23). This makes it possible to completely galvanize the supporting frame (13) consisting of a welded construction beforehand and to produce the frame frame (10) from galvanized sheet steel, because the connection method described above prevents damage to the zinc coatings. In the embodiment, the overall height of the connecting elements (20) is less than half the overall height of the frame frame (10). Nevertheless, here too the connection elements (20) provide sufficient reinforcement or stiffening of the profiled sheet metal parts (12) of the frame frame (10).

In the exemplary embodiment, the supporting frame (13) serves to hold a sanitary body in the form of a toilet bowl (24) (only indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 2). This toilet bowl (24) is supplied with flushing water from the flushing cistern (25) arranged inside the frame frame (10) via a flushing pipe, not shown. The wastewater runs down a drainage bend (26) into wastewater pipes, not shown. The drain bend (26) is fastened to the supporting frame (13) by means of a pipe clamp (27), the pipe clamp (27) in turn being fixed to the lower profiled sheet metal part (19a).

The front of the installation block is closed off by an expanded metal grid (28) attached to the frame frame (10) and a steel plate (29) that can also be used as a plaster base. The latter is attached to the support frame (13).

Fig. 12 shows schematically only on the basis of a vertical sheet metal part (12) of the frame frame (10) the "walling" of the installation block in a cavity of a brick wall (30) by means of mortar (31). (32) denotes a plaster layer that adheres to the expanded metal grille (28) on the front of the installation block.

Fig. 13 shows in a similar manner schematically the installation of the installation block in a lightweight wall, of which only two supports (33) and two lightweight panels (34) are shown. In this exemplary embodiment, the vertical profiled sheet metal parts (12) of the frame frame (10) are screwed onto the supports (33) with their flanges (22) projecting laterally outwards.

On the outside, the installation block is covered by a lightweight board (34) which is screwed onto sections (35) of the two vertical profiled sheet metal parts (12) of the frame frame (10). These sections (35) are bent inwards at right angles from the flanges (22). In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 12, the expanded metal grid (28), which serves as a plaster base, is fastened to these sections (35). The present construction of the frame frame (10) is therefore suitable both for "walling in" and for installing the installation block in a lightweight wall or for so-called pre-wall mounting.

In the last-mentioned application, the connection brackets (36) attached at the top on both sides of the frame frame (10) are used. These contain holes for the passage of appropriate fastening screws, which are screwed into dowels in the masonry.
