Claims (28)

1. Abdichtungselement mit einem an seiner unteren Fläche vorspringenden, zu seiner Anlage an einem darunterliegenden Element dienenden elastisch deformierbarem Dichtungsstreifen (32), der sich zumindest annähernd dessen Relief anzupassen vermag, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dichtungsstreifen (32) über zumindest einen Teil seiner Höhe der Länge nach in Zungen (34) aufgeteilt ist, die sich nacheinander zumindest teilweise in Querrichtung gegenseitig überlappen.
2. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) nacheinander über einen Anschlag (35) jeweils ineinandergreifen.
3. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Anschlag (35), über den zwei aufeinanderfolgende Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) ineinandergreifen, ein Anschlag in Form eines Flächenwinkels ist.
4. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Anschlag (35), über den zwei aufeinanderfolgende Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) ineinandergreifen, ein Anschlag in Form eines Zapfens (35′) und einer Zapfenaufnahme (35˝) ist.
5. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 3, 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Anschlag (35) symmetrisch ist.
6. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Anschlag (35), über den zwei aufeinanderfolgende Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) ineinandergreifen, ein Anschlag mit geradlinigen Endflanken (37′) ist, die in Längsrichtung relativ zueinander versetzt sind.
7. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dichtungsstreifen (32) der Länge nach in zwei Halbstreifen (32-I, 32-II) aufgeteilt ist, von denen jeder in Zungen (34) unterteilt ist, wobei die Zungen (34) des einen gegenüber denen des anderen Halbstreifens (32-I, 32-II) in Längsrichtung gegeneinander versetzt sind.
8. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich die Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) nacheinander gegenseitig übergreifen.
9. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zungen des Dichtungsstreifens zur Erzielung deren Überlappung schräge Endflanken (37˝) besitzen.
10. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dichtungsstreifen (32) nur über einen Teil seiner Höhe hinweg in Zungen (34) unterteilt ist.
11. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) aufeinanderfolgend nach Art einer Ziehharmonika miteinander verbunden sind.
12. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) aufeinanderfolgend entlang deren einander gegenüberliegenden Längsrändern nach Art einer Ziehharmonika miteinander verbunden sind.
13. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Zunge (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) Längsränder besitzt, von denen einer in Fortsetzung mit dem Längsrand der ihr vorangehenden Zunge (34) vorgesehen ist, und von denen der andere Längsrand in Fortsetzung mit dem Längsrand der ihr nachfolgenden Zunge vorgesehen ist.
14. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich die Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) in Ruhestellung alle im wesentlichen in Querrichtung erstrecken.
15. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Querränder der Zungen (34) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) eben ausgebildet sind.
16. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dichtungsstreifen (32) im Querschnitt eine Trapezform aufweist.
17. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dichtungsstreifen (32) im Querschnitt eine Rechteckform aufweist.
18. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dichtungsstreifen (32) an einem seiner in Querrichtung verlaufenden Enden zu dessen Verbindung mit dem entsprechenden Dichtungsstreifen (32) eines angrenzenden Abdichtungselements eine Zapfenaufnahme (52) und am anderen seiner in Querrichtung verlaufenden Enden einen Zapfen (53) besitzt, der für einen Eingriff in eine solche Zapfenaufnahme (52) ausgelegt ist.
19. Abdichtungselement nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Zapfen (53) und die Zapfenaufnahme (52) des Dichtungsstreifens (32) sich über dessen gesamte Höhe erstrecken.
20. Abdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es eine Firstabdichtung bildet und entlang zumindest einer der Seiten einer Fußplatte (17), über die es entlang eines Firstbalkens eines Daches anbringbar ist, eine allgemein geneigte Fläche (18) umfaßt, über die es zumindest teilweise die obere Reihe von Abdeckelementen des entsprechenden Abdaches der ein solches Dach umfassenden Abdeckung zu übergreifen vermag, mit einem an der Unterseite der geneigten Fläche (18) vorspringenden, seiner Anlage gegen die Abdeckelemente dienenden elastisch deformierbarem Dichtungsstreifen (32).
21. Firstabdichtungselement nach Anspruch 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fußplatte (17) von Ort zu Ort Belüftungsöffnungen (25A, 25B) aufweist, und daß an der unteren Seite der Fußplatte (17) zumindest ein Höcker (60, 28) vorspringt, der sich an der Fußplatte (17) bezüglich der angrenzenden geneigten Seite (18) zumindest jenseits der Belüftungsöffnungen (25A, 25B) bzw. darüberhinaus erstreckt.
22. Firstabdichtungselement nach Anspruch 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich der Höcker (60) in Längsrichtung erstreckt und bezüglich der angrenzenden geneigten Seite (18) jenseits der Belüftungsöffnungen (25A, 25B) angeordnet ist.
23. Firstabdichtungselement nach Anspruch 22, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich der Höcker (60) in Längsrichtung über die gesamte Länge des Firstabdichtungselements erstreckt.
24. Firstabdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 22, 23, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Höcker (60) in Form eines Stabes ausgebildet ist.
25. Firstabdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 22 bis 24, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Höcker (60) an seinem Rand von Ort zu Ort Vorsprünge (61) aufweist.
26. Firstabdichtungselement nach Anspruch 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Höcker (28) sich in Querrichtung erstreckt und die Fußplatte (17) mit der angrenzenden geneigten Seite (18) verbindet.
27. Firstabdichtungselement nach Anspruch 26, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Höcker (28) die Form einer Rippe besitzt.
28. Firstabdichtungselement nach einem der Ansprüche 26, 27, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß von Ort zu Ort mehrere Höcker (28) vorgesehen sind.
