Der erfindungsgemäße Pillenteiler weist eine Einrichtung zum Entnehmen nur eines Stückes der zerteilten Pille oder Tablette auf, diese Einrichtung ist in einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Trägerfläche gegenüberliegend angeordnet. Vorteilhaft ist es, sowohl die Klinge als auch die Einrichtung zum Entnehmen des Pillenstückes gemeinsam an einem Arm des Pillenteilers anzuordnen. Dabei kann die Einrichtung zum entnehmen eine Auswurföffnung in diesem Arm sein, die sich seitlich der Klinge befindet. Die Klinge trennt die zerteilten Pillenstücke räumlich voneinander, so daß nur eine Pillenhälfte entnommen werden kann. Die andere Hälfte kann in einem Vorratsbehälter deponiert werden, der in seiner einfachsten Ausführungsform die eine Hälfte der Aufnahme für die zu zerteilende Pille ist, die in diesem Falle eine geschlossene Kammer aus dem einen der beiden federnden Elemente, der Klinge und dem abgesenkten zweiten Arm bildet. In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist ein separater Vorratsbehälter an dem Arm vorgesehen, auf dem sich auch die Trägerfläche befindet, und zwar ist der Vorratsbehälter bevorzugt am rückwärtigen Ende dieses Armes angeordnet. Der Vorratsbehälter und die beiden Arme sind so gestaltet, daß sie nach Beendigung des Zerteilens miteinander abschließen. Fig. 1 zeigt einen Pillenteiler, der zwei gegeneinander bewegliche Arme (1, 2) aufweist. Die Arme (1, 2) sind durch eine bei (3) befindliche Achse schwenkbar miteinander verbunden. Am oberen oder zweiten Arm (2) ist an dessen rückwärtigem Ende ein Vorsprung (9) vorgesehen, der in eine entsprechende Aussparung am unteren oder ersten Arm (1) eingreifen kann. Aus diesem ist die zerteilte Pille durch eine Öffnung entnehmbar. So wird die Klinge (4) nach dem Zerteilen einer Tablette wieder in eine gerade, zentrale Position geführt, auch wenn sie beim Zerteilen leicht verkantet wurde.
