The invention relates to a wall-mounted urinal made of sanitary ceramic which has a moulded-in basin (8a) possessing a peripheral rim, to which the flushing water is supplied in the upper rim region, and which is provided with an outlet connection-piece (8c) at its lowest point. In order to permit simply installation, the urinal comprises, on the one hand, an upper part (8), which forms the basin (8a) with rim (8b) and outlet connection-piece (8c) and is fixed directly to the wall (1), and, on the other hand, a lower part (12) which, after installation of the upper part (8) and also of the water-supply connection and the outlet, can preferably be fixed to the upper part (8) and is designed as an all-round cover for all parts belonging both to the water-supply connection and to the outlet. <IMAGE>

Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausbildung wird ein wandhängendes Urinal aus Sanitärkeramik geschaffen, dessen Oberteil bei­spielsweise an zwei vorbereiteten Befestigungspunkten problemlos an der Wand befestigt werden kann, weil die Unter­seite dieses Oberteils gut zugänglich ist, so daß sowohl der Wasseranschluß als auch der Abfluß problemlos montiert werden können. Auch ein Anbringen und Anziehen der Befestigungs­schrauben ist problemlos durchzuführen. In diesem Fall kann gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung im Oberteil ein Sensor zur Be­tätigung eines den Wasserzulauf steuernden Magnetventils angeordnet sein, das unterhalb des Oberteils im Bereich der Abdeckung durch das Unterteil angeordnet ist. Gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung können ein Steuergerät für den Wasserzulauf und eine Batterie unterhalb des Oberteils und innerhalb der Abdeckung durch das Unterteil angeordnet werden.
