Definitions
- the present invention relates to a piece of jewelry with a body of generally annular shape.
- a piece of jewelry can be for example a ring or a bracelet or the like.
- the object of the present invention is to produce a piece of jewelry carrying elements contributing to its aesthetics and intended to lend themselves to improved personalization.
- the piece of jewelry according to the invention is produced as described in claim 1.
- the mobile contributes by its shape and possibly by its decoration to the general aesthetics of the piece of jewelry and it allows improved personalization by the fact that when it slides on the annular body of the piece, it discovers and releases a decor normally found in a housing of corresponding shape of the outer surface of the annular body, this decoration having a round or shaped configuration, for example a heart, which can be chosen at will by the owner of the piece of jewelry.
- the decoration is attached to a pivoting arm which can be moved away from the annular body with the decoration released.
- the arm When the arm is removed from the body, it discovers a personal inscription, for example "LOVE" on the exterior surface of the body and it may itself have its face facing inwards (towards the body) for example the name of the manufacturer or of the distributor of the piece of jewelry and its external part, for example the name of the owner of the piece and / or a significant date in the life of the latter.
- the part according to the invention therefore comprises elements which contribute to its personalization.
- the mobile, the decor and the arm are mobile elements which contribute to the aesthetics of the room while contributing to its personalization.
- Figure 1 shows the annular body 1 of a ring according to a first embodiment of the invention.
- This body carries an arm 2 capable of pivoting about an axis 3 mounted in the body 1.
- the internal part of the arm 2 is normally engaged in a housing 4 of corresponding shape provided in the external face of the body 1.
- the arm includes a ring 5 through which passes a loop 6 which also passes through a ring 7 mounted at one end of a decoration 8 in the shape of a heart in the example illustrated, the other end of this decoration being free.
- the decor 8 is engaged in a housing 9 of corresponding shape provided in the outer face of the body 1.
- the shape of the decor can be chosen at will by the owner of the ring.
- Figure 6 shows that the inner part of the arm can include an inscription, for example the name of the manufacturer or the distributor of the ring.
- the ring also has a mobile 10 illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3.
- This mobile has a through opening 10a designed to receive the annular body 1. Consequently, the mobile 10 overlaps the body 1 with play, so that it can slide freely on the latter.
- the mobile 10 is locked to the body 1 by a cap 11 whose axis 12 crosses the upper part of the mobile 10 in which it is screwed and engages in a clearance 13 on the outer face of the body 1.
- To release the mobile 10 it suffices to unscrew the cabochon 11 until the end of its axis 12 comes out of the clearance 13.
- the cabochon is retained on the mobile 10 by a nut 14.
- FIG. 4 shows that the cabochon 11 may include for example a precious stone or a gold head 11a as decoration.
- the mobile 10 can be made more aesthetic by grooves 15 (fig.3).
- the cabochon 11 and the mobile 10 can be decorated with precious stones.
- Figure 1 shows that when the mobile 10 is locked to the body 1 by the screw cap 11, its right part in Figure 2 completely covers and hides the decoration 8, the external face of which comes practically flush with the external face of the body 1.
- the mobile 10 has a clearance 16 provided for receiving the ring 7 from the decoration.
- the mobile 10 is released by unscrewing the cap 11. The released mobile can then be moved on the body 1, to the left in FIG. 1, which has the effect of discovering and releasing the decor 8.
- the arm 2 with the decoration 8 can then be moved away from the body 1 by pivoting around the axis 3, which allows on the one hand to read the inscription that the arm 2 carries on its inner face and on the other hand to discover a new inscription, for example "LOVE" provided on the surface of the housing 4 of the arm 2 in the external face of the body 1 (see also fig.5).
- a new inscription for example "LOVE" provided on the surface of the housing 4 of the arm 2 in the external face of the body 1 (see also fig.5).
- the ring can be put in essentially two conditions.
- the mobile with the cap is locked to the annular body 1, the decoration 8 is not visible and the arm 2 is lying against the outside face of the body 1 in its housing 4.
- the only visible inscription is that which can be provided on the outside of the arm.
- the mobile with the cap 11 is unlocked and it can slide freely on the body 1 so as to uncover the decoration 8.
- the arm 2 with the decoration 8 at its end can then be moved away from the body 1 by rotation around of axis 3, which makes it possible to read the inscriptions on the inside face of the arm and on the outside face of the housing of the arm in the body 1, this last inscription being normally hidden by the arm.
- the mobile 10 and the cabochon 11 can be of a configuration such that it improves the aesthetics of the ring and these elements can be decorated with precious stones.
- Figure 7 shows a bracelet in a second form of the invention.
- This bracelet is designed according to the same principle as the ring described above.
- Figure 7 corresponds to Figure 1 and Figures 2 to 6 are valid for both the ring and the bracelet.
- the same elements are designated by the same reference numbers.
- the body is in two parts 20 and 21 joined by a hinge 22 to allow the opening of the bracelet when the mobile 10 is moved on the part 21 of the body of the bracelet from the locked position.
- the end of the axis 12 of the cap 11 comes, in the locked position, in a clearance 23 from the part 21 of the body of the bracelet.
- the movement of the mobile 10 on the part 21 not only frees the decoration 8 as in the case of the ring, but also the parts 20 and 21 of the bracelet body embedded in one another at the location of the clearance 23, so that the bracelet can be opened by simply moving these parts apart.
- the travel of the mobile 10 on the part 21 of the body can be limited if necessary by a stop.

Description
The present invention relates to a piece of jewelry with a body of generally annular shape. Such a piece of jewelry can be for example a ring or a bracelet or the like.
In the known versions of rings, bracelets or the like, these pieces or elements of jewelry can only be personalized by an inscription on the interior or exterior surface of the body of the element. However, such a way of characterizing the piece of jewelry is more or less standard, the "personalization" being reduced to a different inscription for each piece. There is therefore a need for the production of pieces of jewelry capable of more individual personalization and different from that of known pieces. Consequently, the object of the present invention is to produce a piece of jewelry carrying elements contributing to its aesthetics and intended to lend themselves to improved personalization. To achieve this object, the piece of jewelry according to the invention is produced as described in claim 1.
The mobile contributes by its shape and possibly by its decoration to the general aesthetics of the piece of jewelry and it allows improved personalization by the fact that when it slides on the annular body of the piece, it discovers and releases a decor normally found in a housing of corresponding shape of the outer surface of the annular body, this decoration having a round or shaped configuration, for example a heart, which can be chosen at will by the owner of the piece of jewelry. The decoration is attached to a pivoting arm which can be moved away from the annular body with the decoration released. When the arm is removed from the body, it discovers a personal inscription, for example "LOVE" on the exterior surface of the body and it may itself have its face facing inwards (towards the body) for example the name of the manufacturer or of the distributor of the piece of jewelry and its external part, for example the name of the owner of the piece and / or a significant date in the life of the latter. The part according to the invention therefore comprises elements which contribute to its personalization. In addition, the mobile, the decor and the arm are mobile elements which contribute to the aesthetics of the room while contributing to its personalization.
- FIG. 1 is a side view of a ring according to a first embodiment of the invention,
- FIG. 2 is a side view of a mobile,
- FIG. 3 is a plan view of the mobile according to FIG. 2,
- Figure 4 shows a cabochon,
- FIG. 5 is a partial plan view of the annular body of the ring according to FIG. 1,
- FIG. 6 is a plan view of an arm with a decoration, and
- Figure 7 is a side view of a bracelet according to a second embodiment of the invention.
Figure 1 shows the annular body 1 of a ring according to a first embodiment of the invention. This body carries an
The above shows that the ring can be put in essentially two conditions. In the first condition, the mobile with the cap is locked to the annular body 1, the decoration 8 is not visible and the
Figure 7 shows a bracelet in a second form of the invention. This bracelet is designed according to the same principle as the ring described above. Figure 7 corresponds to Figure 1 and Figures 2 to 6 are valid for both the ring and the bracelet. The same elements are designated by the same reference numbers. In the case of the bracelet, the body is in two
