Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmetauscher mit mindestens einem Flansch versehenen Kunststoffwasserkasten und einem einen verformbaren Randbereich tragenden Rohrboden eines, zwischen denen eine elastische Dichtung unter Vorspannung gehalten ist, wobei der verformbare Randbereich vor seiner Verformung parallel zur Flanschaußenkontur verläuft und nach seiner Herstellung einer Klemmverbindung über den Flansch des Kunststoffwasserkastens etwa wellenförmig verformte erste Teilbereiche und nicht verformte parallel zur Flanschaußenkontur verlaufende weitere Teilbereiche aufweist und dabei die über den oder die Flansche des Kunststoffwasserkastens verformten ersten Teilbereiche die formschlüssige Verbindung bilden, bei der jeweils die Unterkante der verformten ersten Teilbereiche auf der oder den Obersetein des oder der Flansche unter Vorspannung anliegen und bei der, zur Erleichterung der Verformung, die verformten ersten Teilbereich parallel und im Abstand von einer Außenkante in Höhe der Flanschoberkante bzw. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe sieht die Erfindung vor, daß die Oberseite des Flansches oder der Flansche des Kunststoffwasserkastens mindestens teilweise im Bereich der verformten ersten Teilbereiche eine Schrägfläche aufweisen, daß diese Schrägfläche bzw. Schrägflächen gegen die Flanschaußenkontor hin abfallen und daß die Unterkante der verformten ersten Teilbereiche jeweils über diese Schrägfläche bzw. Schrägflächen verformt sind. Beim Schließen der Klemmverbindung durch Verformung der ersten Teilbereiche erfolgt durch das Aufgleiten der Unterkanten noch eine gewisse Erhöhung der Vorspannung der elastischen Dichtung, die bei der Montage beim Schließvorgang bereits vorgespannt ist. Dadurch, daß beim Verformen der ersten Teilbereich jeweils örtlich ein Teil der Schrägfläche des Flansches des Kunststoffwasserkastens durch die Unterkante des verformten ersten Teilbereichs abgeschabt wird, können auch größere Fertigungstoleranzen ohne weiteres ausgeglichen werden, so daß auch größere Maßabweichungen keine Undichtigkeiten der Klemmverbindung verursachen können.To achieve this object, the invention provides that the upper side of the flange or the flanges of the plastic water tank have an inclined surface at least partially in the region of the deformed first partial regions, that this inclined surface or inclined surfaces fall towards the flange outer contour and that the lower edge of the deformed first partial regions are deformed in each case over this inclined surface or inclined surfaces. In geschlossenem Zustand der Klemmverbindung hat daher der verformbare Bereich 5 des Außenrands 6, wie in Figur 3 ersichtlich ist, eine Wellenform. Hierzu muß der verformte erste Teilbereich 7 des Rohrbodens 2 freigeschnitten sein. Im Ausführungsbeispiel erfolgt dies durch Langlöcher 10, deren über den Flansch 4 gebogene Unterkanten 9 wesentlichen Bestandteil der Klemmverbindung sind.The

Nachdem die Dichtung 3 in den Rohrboden 2 eingelegt worden ist, wird der Wasserkasten 1 gegen die Dichtung 3 gepresst, und Wasserkasten und Rohrboden werden auf ein Soll-Maß vorgespannt. Dieses Soll-Maß ist dann erreicht, wenn sich die Oberkante des Wasserkastenflansches 4 unterhalb der Oberkanten der Langlöcher 10 befindet. Danach erfolgt das Schließen der Verbindung durch ein Hereinbiegen der ersten Teilbereiche 7. Bei diesem Hereinbiegen der ersten Teilbereiche 7 erfolgt durch deren Unterkanten 9 nach einem Aufgleiten auf der Schrägfläche 13 schließlich ein gewisses Abschaben des Kunststoffs, wenn ein elastisches Nachgeben nicht mehr möglich ist. Maßabweichungen der Höhe der Schließnocken 11 gegenüber der Dichtfläche 15 bleiben daher, wenn diese nur ausreichend hoch sind, ohne Einfluß auf die Dichtheit der Klemmverbindung. Es können daher Kunststoffwasserkästen 1 mit relativ großen Fertigungstoleranzen, insbesondere auch der Flanschen 4 mit ihre Schließnocken 11, ohne Nachteile verwendet werden, so daß wesentlich weniger Ausschußteile ausgesondert werden müssen und trotzdem die Dichtheit der Wärmetauscher auch bei höherem Innendruck und höherer Temperatur gewährleistet ist.The production of the clamp connection and its possible later release is described in detail in DE-OS-28 52 408.
