Abstract
Description
- La présente invention a pour objet un ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains.
- Jusqu'à présent la consolidation des terrains est en général effectué à l'aide de gabions, ou de petits murs de béton armé, ou encore de murs préfabriqués. Toutes ces réalisations demandent une main d'oeuvre importante à cause des grandes quantités de matériaux et/ou de terre devant être utilisés.
- On a maintenant trouvé un système de consolidation de terrains du type mur léger, qui est efficace et facile à mettre en oeuvre.
- L'invention concerne donc un ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une semelle de béton sensiblement en forme de U, dans laquelle est inséré au moins un élément parallélépipédique en un matériau plastique alvéolaire sous forme d'un bloc, la partie supérieure dudit élément dépassant de la semelle étant recouverte successivement par un grillage et d'une mince couche de béton.
- Le matériau plastique alvéolaire sous forme de bloc peut être notamment du polystyrène expansé ou du polypropylène en nid d'abeille, ou tout autre matériau semblable.
- Selon d'autres caractéristiques :
- Afin d'assurer un drainage des eaux, le bloc de matériau plastique alvéolaire peut être muni, à sa partie inférieure dépassant de la semelle de béton, de barbacanes.
- La partie du bloc de matériau plastique alvéolaire insérée entre les deux branches de la semelle en forme de U peut être cannelée sur ses faces latérales pour offrir une meilleure adhérence au béton.
- Le bloc de matériau plastique alvéolaire présente un léger angle entre la verticale et le talus (c'est-à-dire le bord du terrain devant être consolidé) pour tenir compte de la flexion du matériau au moment du chargement. - Dans la plupart des cas de figure, on utilisera plusieurs blocs de matériau plastique alvéolaire qui devront être liés entre eux.
- Cette liaison peut être effectuée à l'aide d'au moins une tige d'acier, notamment torsadée, traversant latéralement les blocs et éventuellement plié en bout. Selon une autre variante, les blocs peuvent être liés entre eux par collage.
- L'ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains selon l'invention peut être mis en place par exemple de la manière suivante.
- Préliminairement, les blocs de matériau plastique alvéolaire sont découpés aux dimensions désirées et, le cas échéant, leur partie latérale inférieure est cannelée par exemple à la scie. Par ailleurs, le pied du talus devant être consolidé est dégagé. La base de la semelle de béton en forme de U est coulée in situ et les blocs de matériau plastique alvéolaire sont alignés par dessus et liés entre eux au moyen de tiges d'acier ou de colle. Ensuite les deux branches de la semelle de béton en forme de U sont coulées. Lorsque le béton a pris, le terrain est remblayé et la partie supérieure des blocs de matériau plastique alvéolaire dépassant est recouverte successivement d'un grillage et d'une mince couche de béton par projection.
- L'ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains selon l'invention est particulièrement facile à mettre en oeuvre et offre une grande sécurité à l'utilisa tion, par exemple lors de la construction de routes.
- La description suivante en regard des dessins annexés fera mieux comprendre la réalisation de l'invention.
- Sur ces dessins :
- - la Fig. 1 représente une vue en perspective d'un ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains comprenant un seul bloc de matériau plastique alvéolaire;
- - la Fig. 2 représente une vue en perspective d'un ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains comprenant plusieurs blocs de matériau plastique alvéolaire; et
- - la Fig. 3 représente une vue de côté en coupe de l'ouvrage selon la Fig. 2 en place contre le terrain devant être consolidé.
- L'ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains ou mur léger représenté sur la Fig. 1 comprend une semelle de béton 1 sensiblement en forme de U, dans laquelle est inséré un élément parallélépipédique 2 en un matériau plastique alvéolaire sous forme d'un bloc, la partie supérieure dudit élément dépassant de la semelle étant recouverte successivement par un grillage 3 et d'une mince couche de béton 4, par exemple par projection au moyen d'une buse 5. Les dimensions de la semelle de béton 1 peuvent être par exemple : largeur 1,10 m, hauteur 0,55 m, hauteur des branches du U 0,30 m, la longueur étant choisie selon les nécessités de consolidation. Le bloc 2 en matériau plastique alvéolaire, notamment du polystyrène expansé (par exemple du "Compostyrène") peut avoir comme dimensions par exemple : hauteur 1,20 m, largeur 0,50 m, et les faces latérales de sa partie insérée, sur une profondeur de 0,30 m par exemple, dans la semelle de béton 1,peut être canellée (non représentée) à l'aide d'une scie. La hauteur utile de ce mur selon les dimensions précitées est d'environ 0,90 m. La partie inférieure du bloc 2 dépassant de la semelle 1 est munie d'un système de barbacanes 6 ayant par exemple un diamètre de 5 cm permettant le drainage des eaux. Le bloc 2 présente utilement un léger angle d'environ 2° entre la verticale et le talus pour tenir de la flexion du matériau plastique alvéolaire au moment du chargement.
- Les Figs. 2 et 3 représentent un ouvrage léger de consolidation de terrains de dimensions supérieures à celui de la Fig. 1, dont la semelle de béton 1 a par exemple comme dimensions : largeur 2,20 m, hauteur 1 m, largeur entre les branches du U 1, hauteur des branches 0,75 m, la longueur pouvant être variée à volonté. Plusieurs blocs 2 de matériau plastique alvéolaire, notamment de polystyrène, ayant par exemple comme dimensions 2,50 m x 0,50 m x 1,20 sont insérés dans la semelle sur une profondeur de 0,75 m. Les blocs 2 sont liés entre eux au moyen de tiges d'acier 7 torsadées ayant par exemple un diamètre de 8 mm. Le cas échéant ils peuvent être collés. Pour le reste, c'est à dire le grillage 3, la couche mince de béton 4 pulvérisée par une buse 5 et les barbacanes 6, la réalisation peut être identique à celle de l'ouvrage de la Fig. 1. Dans cet exemple, la hauteur utile du mur est de 2 m.
