Abstract

  • 1. Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur pulvermetallurgischen Herstellung von blasenfreiem, wasserstoff- und oxidarmem Aluminiumhalbzeug.
  • 2.1 Zur pulvermetallurgischen Herstellung von Halbzeugen auf Aluminiumbasis werden gasverdüste Aluminiumlegierungspulver eingesetzt. Oxid- und/oder Hydroxidgehalte derartiger Pulver führen zur Ausbildung von Blasen und einer porösen Gefügestruktur im Halbzeug. Insbesondere hochfeste magnesium- und/oder lithiumhaltige Legierungen, die oberhalb 400 °C wärmebehandelt werden, verspröden sehr stark, wenn der Oxidgehalt an der Teilchenoberfläche bestimmte Grenzwerte überschreitet. Diese Grenzwerte können durch herkömmliche Vakuumverfahren und -einrichtungen nicht eingehalten werden. Nach dem neuen Verfahren und mit der entsprechenden Vorrichtung sollen hochfeste Aluminiumlegierung mit blasenfreiem und versprödungsarmen Gefüge auf pulvermetallurgischem Wege hergestellt werden können.
  • 2.2 Erfindungsgemäß wird das gasverdüste Legierungspulver bei Temperaturen zwischen 400 und 550 °C allseitig von einem Schutzgas mit einer Mindestgeschwindkeit von 0,2 m/s umströmt. Dadurch entsteht ein dynamisches Druckgefälle, das den Abtransport der Oxide/Hydroxide begünstigt. Das so behandelte Pulver wird in der Wärme umgeformt und unmittelbar nach der Formgebung rasch abgekühlt. Es ergeben sich Produkte mit blasenfreiem, versprödungsarmen Gefüge und sehr geringen Wasserstoff- und Oxidgehalten.
  • 2.3 Pulvermetallurgische Herstellung von Preß-, Schmiede- oder Walzerzeugnissen auf der Basis von hochfesten Aluminiumlegierungen.
