Definitions
- TECHNICAL FIELD HOUSING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AIR CONDITIONING, COOLING OR VENTILATION UNITS.
- thermally and / or acoustically insulated housings for accommodating air conditioning units, cooling devices and the like is known, which are usually housed in the basement or attic, or outside the building.
- These housings are composed of plate elements with standardized dimensions and have an inner insulation layer, which is covered on the outside by sheet metal.
- the assembly of the elements among themselves, or the attachment of these to a supporting structure takes place by means of connecting or fastening elements which are attached to the plate elements or are integrally formed on them.
- Such plate elements are from the descriptions of US 3,372,520; F 927-270; US 3,670,466; DE - A - 30 42 109 known.
- All of the known plate elements including those which are the subject of the above patent specifications, are elements which enclose an insulating core on all sides and have grooves, ribs, projections, claws or other mutual connecting and fastening elements on the outside.
- the production of such plate elements te therefore uses profiles with ramified.
- the plate element is manufactured in various operations using a specific device.
- the assembly of the plate elements into housings requires working faults such as screwing in, inserting studs, aligning lugs and the like, with ultimately corrosion-prone outer and / or inner surfaces being formed at the points where the fastening elements are attached, where the corrosion-inhibiting layer is easily damaged, where dust and condensed water settle and, last but not least, an unfavorable electro-chemical effect caused by the mutual contact of different metals.
- such surfaces are not smooth and are therefore difficult to keep clean and unaesthetic.
- the invention has for its object to provide a plate element described above in which no fastening and assembly elements are visible from the outside, which has smooth outer surfaces, which has an inside, in a protected area, optionally also subsequently to common fastening system, which is inexpensive to manufacture and also at the metallic contact points of different parts (fastener plate wall), is corrosion-resistant.
- This object is achieved in that a box-shaped flat element which can be closed by a snap-on lid and which is filled with insulating material is used. Be it the box element or the lid can be made of metal sheet or plastic laminate.
- the elastically deformable organs, which the Schnappvee Form bond between box element and lid are preferably in one piece with the element in question, and in particular contribute to the required stiffening from this.
- the snap connection between the box element and the lid is preferably of the type which also enables the lid to be removed later.
- the insulating layer accommodated in the box element is preferably of the soft and / or flexible type such as glass fiber and the like, but the use of rigid or composite (rigid-flexible) insulating boards is not excluded.
- the connection of the plate elements in accordance with the invention or with a load-bearing structure with or without interposing seals, inserts or the like consists in the use of known elements customary in sheet metal and laminating work, which are on the inside of the box element before the insertion of the Insulation layer and snap on the lid.
- connection system described also enables simple attachment of the plate elements to profiles or to walls in general, which, for example, insulate the load-bearing structure of the housing or represent the aggregate.
- this fastening system is also suitable for attaching tie rods, supports and other parts, especially those provided on the inside of the housing. Between the adjacent surfaces of the connected plate elements seals or inserts can be inserted, which are held in the desired position by means of the described fastening elements.
- the lid as well as the bottom of the shaft element can have ribs or the like according to the invention in order to increase their shape retention, for the same purpose the elastic legs on the edges of the lid, or the inwardly projecting wings of the box element, soften the snap connection form, be used.
- Fig. 1 shows the cross section through the connection point of two plate elements according to the invention, lying in the same plane.
- Fig. 2 shows the cross section through the connection point of two plate elements according to the invention, which are attached to a profile at right angles to each other.
- the shaft element 1 has a peripheral wall 1a, which determines the depth of the box, this wall continues in a stop 1b, which extends in a plane lying parallel to the floor and ends in a wing 1c, which runs against the peripheral wall 1a is inclined.
- the stop 1b and the wing 1c contribute greatly to giving the shaft element 1 remarkable shape retention.
- the cover 2 has a folded-up strip 2a in the region of the peripheral edge, which ends in an elastic leg 2b with an insertion bevel 2c.
- the elastic leg 2b with insertion bevel 2c can extend over the entire length of the sides or can be limited to certain areas.
- the folded strip 2a and the elastic leg 2b with insertion bevel 2c can contribute to the shape retention of the lid conditions, especially if the latter consistently extend across all pages.
- the elastic leg 2b, relative to the cover 2 is inclined outwards and, due to the elastic tension by resting on the inclined wing 1c of the box element 1, causes the connection between the two parts (1-2) without excluding subsequent dismantling.
- the plate elements are assembled among themselves according to the invention, before the insulation layer 7 is inserted and the cover 2 is snapped on, by means of known fastening elements 5 which penetrate the adjacent walls of the box elements (FIG . 1), or the walls of the shaft elements and those of an adjacent profile or penetrate the like (Fig.2). Be it between the stop 1 b of the shaft element 1 and the corresponding area of the deck ice 2, as well as in the fastening area between the shaft elements 1, and between this and the supporting structure 6, seals 3, 4 a or inserts can be inserted.
- the insulation layer 7 can be separated into the shaft element 1 or snapped onto the cover 2, to which it can be attached.
- the particularly cost-effective production method of the parts forming the plate elements, as well as their shape retention and remarkable functionality, together with the time-saving, simple assembly, are ideal for using the plank elements, in addition to the construction of isolation chambers for wall cladding and the isolation of moving units.

Abstract
The prefabricated panel elements consist of an interlocking element (1), which surrounds an insulating core, and a cover (2), and can be attached to each other (Fig. 1) or / and to a supporting structure (Fig. 2; 6). Also described is the system for mounting panel elements to create insulating walls and chambers, in particular for mounting air conditioning apparatus, refrigeration installations and the like.
