Bearings 15 have been provided between the tubular parts 2 and 3, ensuring effortless movement of the parts relative to each other.

  • the parts 2 and 3 have been pulled out to be only a short distance within each other.
  • the straps 6 are then clamped as tightly as, possible around the pipes, to connect the parts 2 and 3 firmly to the pipes.
  • crank handle 9 or cranl handle 14 will cause the parts 2 and 3 to be pushed into each other, resulting in even stronger tightening of the straps around the pipes so that the straps pull the pipes into each other at the point of juncture, in desired manner.

Abstract

Outil pour poser bout à bout des tuyaux, notamment des tuyaux présentant des extrémités évasées, par exemple des tuyaux de vidange. L'outil comporte un corps (1) constitué de deux parties (2, 3) allongées et mobiles l'une par rapport à l'autre dans le sens longitudinal, un organe (17) permettant la fixation sur l'outil des tuyaux devant être raccordés, et un moyen mécanique (7) permettant de déplacer les parties (2, 3) l'une par rapport à l'autre.
