Claims (10)

1. Pelouse artificielle constituée d'une construction d'infrastructure et d'une moquette de fibres synthétiques placée par-dessus, avec une couche de sable répartie entre les fibres, caractérisée en ce que la moquette de fibres synthétiques est constituée de fibres frisées et les fibres comportent, au moins partiellement et de toute manière à leur partie supérieure, un film de revêtement d'un matériau élastomère qui réduit le coefficient de frottement et qui augmente simultanément le pouvoir de recouv- rance de la fibre.
2. Pelouse artificielle selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la frisure est telle que, à la suite de la frisure, la longueur d'une fibre est réduite de 20 à 40% par rapport à son état allongé.
3. Pelouse artificielle selon les revendications 1 et 2, caractérisée en ce que la frisure est réalisée par une opération de tricotage-détricotage.
4. Pelouse artificielle selon les revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que la longueur du poil de la fibre à l'état frisé est comprise entre 20 et 28 mm.
5. Pelouse artificielle selon les revendications 1 à 4, caractérisée en ce que la couche sable est répandue sur une hauteur telle que les fibres dépassent sur une longueur de 2 à 8 mm au-dessus de la couche de sable.
6. Pelouse artificielle selon les revendications 1 à 5, caractérisée en ce que le sable répandu est un sable de quartz ayant des particules qui ont essentiellement une dimension granulaire comprise entre 0,2 et 0,6 mm.
7. Pelouse artificielle selon les revendications 1 à 6, caractérisée en ce que la partie des fibres qui dépassent de la couche de sable au moins est munie d'un film de revêtement.
8. Pelouse artificielle selon les revendications 1 à 7, caractérisée en ce que le matériau du film est une huile de silicone qui durcit après avoir été appliquée.
9. Pelouse artificielle selon les revendications 1 à 7, caractérisée en ce que le matériau du film est un élastomère acrylique.
10. Matériau fibreux destiné à être utilisé dans une pelouse artificielle, caractérisé en ce que les fibres ont un revêtement et sont frisées ou crêpées comme décrit dans les revendications 1 à 9.
