Abstract

Framework intended to ensure the fixing and evenness of a covering or false ceiling on a support which is regular or otherwise, damp or out of plumb, it is characterised by: a metal clamp (1) whose main face has an orifice in which the fixing screw is engaged, and two wings whose end is folded inwards; a wooden lath (10) having two rabbets on one face and which is cut substantially identically to the clamp (1). The clamp is fixed to the support by a screw, the screwing of which permits compensation of the irregularities of the support, while reserving between these elements a ventilation space into which an insulant can be inserted. The lath is secured to the clamps simply by snapping in. <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates to the elements for producing a frame intended to receive the fixings of any covering or false ceiling for example.

As a general rule, such a framework is carried out by means of metal hangers whose configuration of the head allows them to be subjected to the fur by direct snap-in at any place thereof.

In this way, a person can carry out the fixing of the lines alone, then the snap-fastening on them of the fur which then receives the hanging of the covering to be laid.

When an equipment has to be interposed between the support of the lines and the covering to be hung, such as an insulating layer for example, we are limited to the use of a sufficiently flexible and compressible material so that it can absorb the sole lines without too much difficulty.

La présence des suspentes préalable à la pose de la couche isolante crée un certain nombre de contraintes pour celle-ci.The presence of the lines prior to the installation of the insulating layer creates a number of constraints for the latter.

In addition, the simultaneous installation of the insulating layer and the fur that holds it, mobilizes at least two people and requires certain experience.

Thus, this type of frame is not compatible with insulation panels made of rigid material.

In addition, the slats used in this type of frame are usually metallic and do not allow certain coatings to be laid directly on them, such as paneling for example.

These coverings (paneling) are generally placed on battens. To make such a framework, it is necessary to use shims to compensate for the irregularities and false balance of the support.

It is also difficult to precisely wedge the ends of the slats to keep them on the same plane, and this type of frame does not lend itself well to the simultaneous laying of an insulating layer, a fortiori of great thickness.

Patent US-A-1,592,681 describes a wooden frame whose field of application is limited exclusively to the production of parquet floors, the cleats being simply placed in metal supports leveled by means of very specific adjustment members. . It must also be implemented before the realization of a concrete slab necessary to hold the whole. This framework can therefore in no case be used for the production of ceilings or counter walls.

The present invention generally aims to eliminate these difficulties and allow a person to achieve alone, in a reduced time and with precision, a framework in composition or not with an insulator, whatever the nature and support state.

The subject of the invention is therefore a finishing structure according to claim 1.

The plumb and flatness adjustment is obtained without stalling, simply by varying the screwing depth of the fixing screws in the support.

The frame consists of three main elements: A staple, a screw or similar for fixing the staple and a slat.

The clip, preferably metallic, has a main face pierced with an orifice in which the screw or the like is placed, and receives the slat by elastic engagement after being subjected to the support.

According to characteristics of the invention, the orifice includes means for retaining the fixing screw. Preferably, its periphery is shaped so that the screw head is housed there. The screw being introduced from the inside, this conformation projects outside the clip.

Preferably and in order to oppose the withdrawal of the screw when it has been engaged therein, the edge of the orifice is inclined outward. It is also split perpendicularly to allow the forced extension of its diameter when the screw is introduced. Thus, when it has been engaged, the screw is clamped and becomes integral with the clip.

According to an alternative embodiment, the orifice is a threaded passage protruding outside the clip, and cooperates with a screw whose head is complementary and capable of being grasped by a tool.

L'agrafe comporte deux ailes latérales, obtenues par exemple par pliage de la face principale, aptes à se déformer lors de l'introduction de la latte, et à reprendre sensiblement leur position initiale lorsqu'elle a été totalement engagéeThe clip comprises two lateral wings, obtained for example by folding the main face, capable of deforming during the introduction of the slat, and substantially returning to their initial position when it has been fully engaged

According to an important characteristic of the invention, the free end of these wings is folded towards the center of the staple at an acute angle. This arrangement forms at the opening of the clip a chamfer which very significantly promotes the engagement and the sliding of the slat. When it has fully taken place in the clip, these folds of the wings lock the slat in position in the clip.

The screw or the like, used to secure the clip to the primary support, allows the distance between them to be adjusted simultaneously. This adjustment, obtained by the simple screw-in depth, makes it possible in particular to correct flatness and balance.

The particular position of the screw, the head of which is blocked on one side by the retaining means which is provided with the orifice of the clip, and on the other by the slat retained in the clip, allows and keeps this setting.

The slat takes place by elastic engagement in the clip after it has been secured to the support. It can be made of wood, agglomerated wood particles, synthetic material or any other suitable material.

It has a face intended to receive a coating after its installation, and an opposite face intended to come into contact with the main face of the staple.

It also has a longitudinal notch on each of the opposite faces intended to come into contact with the wings of the clip. These notches cooperate with the folding of the end of the wings of the clip.

In its preferred embodiment, at least one of the wings of the clip forms an obtuse angle with the main face which constitutes their common seat, while at least one of the two opposite faces of the slat intended to come into contact with the wings of the staple forms an angle at least equal with the face coming into contact with the main face of the staple.

This arrangement facilitates the introduction of the batten into the clip and allows a progressive and limited spacing of its wings, for a better return to the initial position.

To join and align the slats by their ends, the invention also relates to a splint characterized in that its main face has at least one stop obtained by cutting in said face of a figure folded square to the inside and in the longitudinal axis of the clip. It also has two lateral wings, the ends of which are folded towards each other at an acute angle. Its dimensions are identical to the latch holding clip.

When the framework is to be made on a vertical or oblique support with long fixing screws, it may be necessary to increase their resistance to bending by means of a metal part characterized in that it is in the form a truncated cone, the large base of which is serrated around its circumference, while the other end, which may or may not have an inward return, is split axially in several places around its periphery.

According to an alternative embodiment of this reinforcing piece, its small base gives rise to a small cone, inverted with respect to the first and located inside the latter, split axially in several places around its periphery.

Thus, its large base rests on the support and the teeth oppose its rotation during the introduction of the screw by screwing. The rod of the screw is strongly clamped there in any place by the forced extension of the diameter of the orifice located at the small base.

Thus positioned, this metal part acts as a strut on the screw.

The mode of use which will be described consists in the installation of paneling or any other covering on an irregular wall, out of plumb and wet, by interposing an insulation.

Screws of adequate length are engaged in the hole (4) of the staples (1) until the head comes to lodge in the hollow (6) shaped for this purpose.

The insulation, expanded polystyrene plate for example, is plate against the wall and perforates at the anchor points in which a dowel is engaged.

The screws are inserted into the insulation and screwed into the ankles while holding the wings (3) of the clip (1) between two fingers.

The depth of the screwing adjusts the flatness and the balance of the assembly.

The insulation is thus held in place by the fixing screws.

The slats are previously butted together using the ribs (19), and introduced into the staples according to FIG. 5. One of the folds (7) of the wings (3) of the staple is positioned in one of the notches (15) of the slat ( 10), and by a rotational movement hinging on the point of union thus created, the wings (3) of the clip move apart to let the slat slide and return to their initial position when the other fold (7 ) is facing the other notch (15).

The fold (7) of the ends of the wings (3) of the clip, thus housed in the notches (15) of the batten, leave the face (11) intended to receive the coating free.

Le revêtement peut ensuite être fixé directement sur les lattesThe covering can then be fixed directly to the slats

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments which have just been described and shown.

Interior works framework according to claim 1, characterised such that at least one of the wings (3) of the clip (1) forms an obtuse angle with the main face (2) in order to limit deformation during introduction of the lath and such that at least one of the two opposite faces (14) of the lath which may be in contact with the clip's wings (3) forms an angle at least equal to the face (16) coming in contact with the clip's main face (2).
3. Interior works framework according to claims 1 and 2, characterised such that the hole (4) drilled in the clip's main face (2) is perceptibly located in the center.
4. Interior works framework according to any of claims 1 to 3 above, characterised such that the periphery (6) of the hole (4) drilled in the main face (2) of the clip is shaped according to the head of the screw or similar so that it may be seated therein.
5. Interior works framework according to any of claims 1 to 5 above, characterised such that the hole (4) drilled in the main face (2) of the clip has one outward projecting edge which is perpendicularly grooved to allow for the forced expansion of its diameter to match that of the screw (or similar) when it is introduced and prevent its removal.
6. Interior works framework according to any of claims 1 to 3 above, characterised such that the hole (4) drilled in the main face (2) of the clip opens out unto a threaded passage (9) projecting outward, and such that the screw (20) to be seated has a complementary head (21) which may be gripped by a tool.
7. Interior works framework according to any of claims 1 or 2 above, characterised such that it interconnects the lathes by their extremities using a fish plate, preferably metal, which has at least one stop (8) on its front (2) obtained, for example, with a cut-out, on this front face (2), of a shape folded back square against the inside of the fish plate, and two wings (3) resulting from the folding of the main face (2), and whose extremities (7) are folded towards each other.
8. Interior works framework according to any of claims 1 to 6 above, characterised such that it includes a strengthening piece (30), preferably metal, which reduces the deflection of the fixation screw, which is shaped like a cut-off cone (31) whose large base is serrated (32) along its circumference, while the other end, which may or may not turn towards the inside (33), is split (34) in several places along its periphery in an axial direction.
9. Interior works framework according to claim 8, characterised such that the small base of the strengthening piece gives birth to a small cone (35), inversed with respect to the first one, and located inside it, which is split in several places along its edge in an axial direction.
10. Interior works framework according to any of claims 1 to 7 above, characterised such that on side of the lath grooves (15) is parallel to the side (1) coming in contact with the covering layer.
