Claims (3)
- Filtre adapté pour la séparation d'un mode d'excitation supérieur TM₀₁° ou TM₁₁□ dans un tronçon de guide d'onde (HL) à faible couplage du mode d'excitation fondamental TE₁₁° comportant des éléments de couplage (E) connus, tels que par exemple des sondes coaxiales ou des fentes, qui sont disposés de manière symétrique radialement dans au moins une rainure (N) perpendiculaire à la direction de rayonnement dans la direction circonférentielle dans la paroi du guide d'onde, caractérisé en ce que le point de séparation (K) du mode d'excitation supérieur TM₀₁° ou TM₁₁□ est situé à une distance d'environ 1/4 de la longueur d'onde du guide d'onde λ du mode d'excitation supérieur TM₀₁° ou TM₁₁□ concerné du premier gradin (S) d'un convertisseur λ TE11/4 (TR) étagé, qui réduit la section du tronçon de guide d'onde (HL) comportant le filtre, et en ce que la séparation est réalisée par l'intermédiaire d'une rainure radiale circulaire (N) dont la profondeur de rainure T est située dans le domaine 0,4 < T/λ <0,7 et dont la largeur B est située dans le domaine 0,01 < B/λ <0,05, les éléments de couplage (E) étant disposés face à face par paires sur le pourtour de la paroi extérieure (A) de la rainure (N).
- Filtre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le convertisseur λ TE₁₁/4 (TR) comporte une ou plusieurs rainures dans la paroi du tronçon de guide d'onde (HL) afin de permettre une meilleure adaptation du mode d'excitation fondamental TE₁₁°.
- Filtre selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la section du tronçon de guide d'onde (HL) diminue dans la zone du point de séparation (K).
