Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Eine derartige Vorrichtung ist aus der DE-PS 30 44 462 bekannt. Abgesehen davon, dass bei dieser bekannten Anordnung neben der auf dem Dornpaar des Rollenträgers angeordneten Kernbremse weitere Bremsen benötigt werden, was mit den dazu erforderlichen Steuermitteln einen erheblichen Materialaufwand bedeutet, ist es dort nicht möglich, einen geregelten Schnellstopp in Gefahrensituationen bzw. im Bedarfsfall durchzuführen. Claims (6)

1. Device for adjusting the tension of a print carrier web (14) having an emergency stop device, in particular for web-fed rotary printing machines, with a roller carrier (3) for receiving at least one material roll (4), wherein in controlled normal operation the material roll (4) can be braked by a brake, and in the case of danger or fast stop additionally by an emergency brake (11), the web tension being determined by sensing the position of a deflectable roller (17), partially wrapped round by the print carrier web (14), by means of a measurement receiver (24) in the form of electrical signals which can be conveyed to a control/computing unit (28), characterised in that the control/ computing unit (28) is connected to an electrically controllable air pressure regulator (26) and to a switchable solenoid valve (36) with two compressed air outlets (41, 43), to which the regulated compressed air can be conveyed by the electrically controllable air pressure regulator (26), and in that one of the compressed air outlets (41 ) of the solenoid valve (36) is connected by means of a pneumatic OR member (42) to the brake (10) for normal operation and for controlled emergency stop, and the other compressed air outlet (43) is connected to the emergency brake (11) and by means of the pneumatic OR member (42) also to the brake (10), so that in normal operation the brake (10) can be regulated in controlled manner by means of the pneumatic OR member (42) and in the case of emergency stop the brake (10) and the emergency brake (11) can be regulated in controlled manner.
2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in thatthe brakes (10,11) are constructed in the form of a core brake (8) with several brake clamps having differing friction values.

Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the compressed air outlet (30) of the electrically controllable air pressure regulator (26) with the solenoid valve (36) is connected by means of an electrically switchable solenoid valve (31) to two compressed air outlets (35, 35') which are respectively connected to associated following pneumatic control elements (36, 36') for the control of a roll exchanger (1) with two material rolls (4, 5).

Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that between the compressed air outlet (43) of the solenoid valve (36) and the emergency brake (11 ) for the controlled emergency stop a further pneumatic OR member (44) is arranged which, in the case of loss of tension or in the case of roll exchange (residual roll braking), is acted on by compressed air from a further electrically controllable solenoid valve (38) with compressed air so that in the case of loss of tension or during roll exchange both the brake (10) for normal operation and the emergency brake (11) for emergency stop can be actuated by means of the pneumatic OR member (44), the further solenoid valve (38) being electrically connected to the control/computer unit (28).
5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the electrically switchable solenoid valves (31, 36, 38) are servo solenoid valves.
6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the controlled outlet (30) of the electrically controllable air pressure regulator (26) is at least 0.5 bar.
