Definitions
- the invention is concerned with the switching of movement functions in devices for patient positioning.
- motor-adjustable movement functions for changing the position of patients are often to be switched by double, independent electrical circuits. If a fault occurs in one of the electrical circuits, the movement of the storage device is immediately interrupted or not triggered. The reason for this is that any risk to a patient due to an incorrect movement function of the positioning device must be excluded.
- this solution requires an increased space requirement on the switching unit and thus a corresponding structural Size, since this switching unit for the multitude of movement sequences of the storage device also has a large number of switches, the actuating elements of which cannot be reduced arbitrarily. In addition, the operation of two switches is cumbersome.
- switch arrangements comprising two switches having electrical contact elements, of which at least one switch is designed as a membrane switch, which is a contact element load-bearing flexible base film and a switching film which is elastically deflectable in the direction of this and carries the counter-contact elements, the other switch being arranged behind the film button in the sense of the button in such a way that it is exerted by a pressure exerted on the button in the direction of the button and which exceeds the actuating pressure of the button Membrane button is pressed.
- a membrane switch which is a contact element load-bearing flexible base film and a switching film which is elastically deflectable in the direction of this and carries the counter-contact elements
- the other switch being arranged behind the film button in the sense of the button in such a way that it is exerted by a pressure exerted on the button in the direction of the button and which exceeds the actuating pressure of the button Membrane button is pressed.
- the invention has for its object to enable the switching of movement functions on patient positioning devices with a switch arrangement that takes up little space and enables convenient operation.
- the overall height of the switch arrangement is also very low in the pushbutton direction, since the membrane switch itself takes up little space. By pressing the membrane button, this is first actuated. By pushing the flexible membrane button in further, the electrical switches arranged below or behind them are actuated.
- This switch located behind it can also be designed as a membrane switch or as a mechanical pressure switch. In the case of a plurality of membrane switches arranged one behind the other, it is advantageous with regard to the overall height of the entire switch arrangement if the base film of the membrane switch located at the front in the scanning direction forms the switching membrane of the membrane switch following in the scanning direction.
- the movement function of the bearing device can be interrupted in any case, even if the contact elements on one of the switches remain closed unintentionally, for example stick to one another.
- the first actuated membrane button A consists of a flexible front film 1, a flexible switching film 2, a spacer film 3 and a flexible base film 4, and 2 switching contacts 8 and on the switching film Base film 4 guide contacts 9 are arranged.
- the lead contacts 8 and 9 have a distance x from one another in the retired state.
- the membrane button B arranged behind the membrane button A consists of a flexible switching film 5 with guide contacts 10, a spacer film 6 and a base film 7 with guide contacts 11.
- the guide contacts 10 and 11 are at a distance y from one another in the idle state.
- Fig. 2 two superimposed membrane buttons A and B are shown, here the flexible base film 4 of the membrane button A and the flexible switching film of the membrane button B are replaced by a flexible combination film 12.
- Guide contacts 9 of the membrane switch A are arranged on one side of the combination film, and guide contacts 10 of the membrane switch B are arranged on the other side of the combination film 12. In this case, however, the guide contacts 9 and 10 are also electrically non-conductively separated from one another.
- a membrane switch A and another electrical button B arranged below it are shown.
- the membrane switch 1 consists of a flexible front film 1, a flexible switching film 2 with guide contacts 8, a spacer film 3 and a flexible base film 4 with guide contacts 9.
- the other electrical switch or button B arranged underneath can consist of a housing 13 and e.g. can be switched by a pin 14.
- FIG. 4 again shows a switch arrangement according to FIG. 2 with two membrane buttons A and B arranged one behind the other.
- the contact elements 8 and 9 of the membrane button A are connected in a line 15.
- the contact elements 10 and 11 of the membrane switch B are connected in a line 16.
- the lines 15 and 16 are connected to the inputs of an AND gate 17. It can be seen that the AND gate 17 can only deliver an output signal if both membrane switches A and B are closed. With regard to safety requirements, the switching function of the switch arrangement shown in FIG. 4 is also canceled when only one of the membrane buttons A and B opens.
- FIG. 5 shows an operating device for a patient support unit with a housing 18 in the surface 19 of which a large number of switch arrangements 20 are embedded.
- Each pair of switch arrangements 20 arranged next to one another serves to control a movement function of the patient positioning device in both directions.
- Each of the switch arrangements 20 can be designed according to one of the exemplary embodiments corresponding to FIGS. 1 to 3. It can be seen that the surface of the operating device would have to be practically doubled and the operation would be much more confusing and cumbersome if one now had to provide two separate switches instead of one switch arrangement 20 in the conventional manner.
