Claims (2)

  1. Procédé pour désinfecter des dispostifs ou autres matériaux contaminés par des substances toxiques et nuisibles, en particulier PCB et dioxine, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend :
    a) l'introduction de l'appareil à décontaminer dans un autoclave muni à son sommet d'un condenseur;
    b) la fermeture étanche de l'autoclave;
    c) l'admission d'un solvant dans l'autoclave jusqu'à ce qu'il est rempli;
    d) l'application d'une décharge ultrasonique à l'autoclave contenant le solvant liquide de façon à provoquer la dissolution du contaminant dans le solvant;
    e) la décharge du solvant contenant le contaminant dissous dans ledit solvant de l'autoclave, tout en produisant simultanément le vide dans l'autoclave;
    f) l'injection de vapeurs de solvant dans l'autoclave, après avoir chauffé l'appareil, jusqu'à ce que les vapeurs de solvant atteignent le condenseur supérieur où les vapeurs commencent à se condenser;
    g) l'arrêt de l'injection de vapeurs de solvant au commencement de leur condensation au condenseur supérieur;
    h) l'admission de nouveau de solvant liquide dans l'autoclave jusqu'à ce qu'il est rempli et les vapeurs de solvant sont condensées de façon à refroidir l'appareil;
    i) la répétition des phases d) à h) sous quelques cycles de façon à faire subir à l'appareil des lavages alternés avec solvant en phase liquide et en phase vapeur, sous vide.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les vapeurs de solvant sont engendrées au dehors de l'autoclave et ensuite injectées dans ledit autoclave pour chauffer et laver l'appareil.
