Wood splitting machine comprising a threaded cone (14) with a horizontal rotation axis revolving above a table, and characterized by the fact that it also contains a fixed tube (15) which is parallel to the cone axis (14) and in which the sliding part of an arm (17) is fixed, whereas the other part of the arm is bent and has its end (19) facing the cone tip (14). Machine as per claim 1 or 2, characterized by the fact that the tube section (15) is square and the section of the arm (17) is round and has a diameter appreciably equal to the length of the inner side of the tube section (15), whereas the groove (16) is extended, perpendicularly on its end corresponding to the furthest position from the free end (19) of the arm (17) in relation to the tip, by a groove through which the protrusion (18) can return inside the tube (15), thus allowing the arm (17) to be free on the side of the table to place logs or to treat some particularly big ones.
4. Machine as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that the device holding the end of the arm (17) on the cone axis (14) consists of a second arm which is fixed by one end to the first arm, whereas the part of this second arm which is adjacent to the other end is parallel to the cone axis and is fixed in a second fixed tube in which it slides.
5. Machine as per claim 4, characterized by the fact that the sliding tubes of both arms are situated on either side of the table.
