- the beacon 1 When the beacon according to the invention is used to limit the rolling or landing tracks, the beacon 1 will advantageously be arranged so that the part of the ellipse (of each of the throttles 4, 5) which has the greatest radius of curvature (Ri), is oriented towards the light sources to reflect.
