Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine einstückige gelenkartige Verbindung zweier aus biegesteifem Material bestehender Teile der im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Gattung (Siehe zum Beispiel US-A-3938831).
  • Gelenkverbindungen dieser Art werden bei aus Pappe hergestellten Gegenständen meist durch zwei Prägerillen gebildet, deren verminderte Wandstärke eine verminderte Biegesteifigkeit zur Folge hat. Die Verwindungssteifigkeit eines solchen Gelenks ist jedoch verhältnismäßig gering, so daß beispielsweise gefüllte Briefordner zum Kippen neigen und die Kanten des Vorderdeckels bei geschlossenem Briefordner schräg zu den Kanten des die Aufreihvorrichtung tragenden rückwärtigen Deckels verlaufen. Auch weisen solche Gelenkverbindungen nur eine geringe Stoßfestigkeit auf. Auch besteht bei solchen Briefordnern die Gefahr, daß ein zur Verstärkung der Gelenkstellen auf diese aufgebrachter Leinwandstreifen oder ein auf die aus Pappe bestehenden Deckel aufkaschierter, Muster aufweisender Papierbogen sich an den Gelenkstellen löst.
  • Dieselben Nachteile weisen auch Briefordner auf, deren Vorderdeckel, der Rücken und der rückwärtige Deckel aus Kunststoff gefertigt sind und deren Gelenkverbindungen in gleicher Weise die Materialstärke verringernde, die Gelenkstellen bildende Rillen aufweisen.
  • Diese Nachteile werden gemäß der Erfindung durch Gelenkverbindungen vermieden, die die im Kennzeichen des Hauptanspruchs angegebenen Merkmale aufweisen. Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen solcher Gelenkverbindungen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.
  • In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemäßen Gelenkverbindung in schematischer Weise dargestellt. Es zeigen

    die Gelenkverbindung eines rückwärtigen Briefordnerdeckels mit dem diesem gegenüber um 90° abgewinkelten Rücken des Ordners,
    Fig. 2
    die Gelenkverbindung nach Fig. 1 bei geöffnetem Briefordner.
  • Die Gelenkverbindung besteht aus den beiden Stegen 1 und 2, die über Einschnürungen 11 und 12 bzw. 21 und 22 mit dem rückwärtigen Deckel 3 und dem Rücken 4 verbunden sind. Der äußere Steg 2 weist eine zusätzliche mittige Längseinschnürung 23 auf, die bei geöffnetem Briefordner eine Auswölbung dieses Steges, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt, erleichert.
  • Die erfindungsgemäße Gelenkverbindung ist nicht auf Briefordner und mit einem Deckel versehene, zur Ablage von Schriftgut bestimmte Kassetten beschränkt, sondern eignet sich auf für andere, mit einem Deckel, versehene Behältnisse und für aus Kunststoff gefertigte Kleinmöbel.

Claims (6)

  1. Gelenkartige Verbindung zweier aus biegesteifem Material bestehender plattenförmiger Teile (3,4) eines Gegenstands, z.B. Deckel und Rücken eines Briefordners, mittels zweier, Gelenkteile bildender, einen Hohlraum zwischen sich einschließender und an ihren Längsrändern gelenkig mit einander zugewandten Schmalseiten der plattenförmigen Teile (3,4) verbundener Stege (1,2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die plattenförmigen Teile (3,4) mittels der an den Schmalseiten angeformten Stege (1,2) einstückig miteinander verbunden sind, daß die Stege (1,2) im Bereich ihrer den plattenförmigen Teilen (3,4) zugewandten Längsränder je eine parallel zu den Längsrändern ausgerichtete, eine Gelenkachse bildende Materialeinschnürung aufweisen, daß der in Winkelstellung der plattenförmigen Teile (3,4) äußere Steg (2) eine weitere, zu den Längsrändern parallele, eine Gelenkachse bildende Materialeinschnürung (23) aufweist, und daß der innere Steg (1) im Bereich zwischen seinen Materialeinschnürungen starr ausgebildet ist.
  2. Verbindung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die weitere Materialeinschnürung (23) im äußeren Steg (2) mittig zwischen den beiden an den Längsrändern angeordneten Materialeinschnürungen (21,22) angeordnet ist.
  3. Verbindung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand zwischen dem im Bereich der Längsränder angeordneten Materialeinschnürungen (21,22) des äußeren Stegs (2) größer ist als der Abstand zwischen den Materialeinschnürungen (11,12) des inneren Stegs (1).
  4. Verbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Stege (1,2) in einer die Winkelstellung der beiden plattenförmigen Teile (3,4) bestimmenden Lage mindestens teilweise gegeneinander anliegen.
  5. Verbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Materialeinschnürungen (11,12) des inneren Stegs (1) durch beidseitige Längsrillen gebildet sind.
  6. Verbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der äußere Steg (2) aus zwei zwischen den einander benachbarten Materialeinschnürungen (21,22,23) angeordneten Stegteilen besteht.
