- a battery flap 20 which can be swung out of the lower housing part 11 forms a part of the lower housing part 11 in the pivoted-in state and is adapted to its spherical shape.
- the battery flap receives a battery 21 or an accumulator, the negative pole of which is in electrically conductive connection with a first contact spring 22 fastened in the lower housing part 11 and the positive pole of which is connected to a second contact spring 23.
- the contact springs 22, 23 belong to contact spring parts 24 and 25 which are perpendicular to the flattened portion 12 of the lower housing part 11 and which establish a mechanical and electrical connection to a first printed circuit board 27 and for this purpose have tabs 24a, 24b and 25a which fit into corresponding openings in FIG fit the first printed circuit board and are connected to conductor tracks ending at the aforementioned openings, for example by soldering.
- the first printed circuit board 27 carries electrical components 28 and 29 of the hearing aid amplifier, which is connected to the receiver 16 via lines 30.
- a second printed circuit board 31 which is aligned parallel to the first printed circuit board, serves as a support for a gain regulator 32, trimmer resistors 33 and further electrical components, of which only one component 34 can be seen in FIG. 2.
- the gain controller 32 has a disk-shaped adjusting element 35 and the trimmer resistor 33 has a screw-shaped adjusting element 36 (cf. also FIG. 3) with an adjusting slot 37.
- the second printed circuit board 31 is mechanically and electrically connected to the first printed circuit board 27 preferably via plug pins 3B provided on the underside of the second printed circuit board and sockets 39 provided on the upper side of the first printed circuit board.
- the upper housing part 13 contains in the area of the flat 14 an eccentric sound passage opening 42 (see FIGS. 2 and 3), in which one end of an elastic hose 43 is fastened. The other end of the hose sits on a hollow cylindrical sound inlet connector 44 of a microphone 45, which is elastically fastened to the upper housing part in the manner described above and is connected to the second printed circuit board 31 via lines 46.
- An opening 47 lying in the axial direction of the upper housing part 13 (cf. also FIG. 3) serves for the free passage of the adjusting element 35 of the reinforcement actuator 32 and two eccentric openings 48, 49 for the free passage of the adjusting elements 36 of the trimmer resistors 33.
- a preferably cap-shaped knob 50 has on its inside 51 an annular collar 52 which is dimensioned such that it can be snapped onto the adjusting element 35.
- the collar 52 has at its free end an inwardly directed annular projection 53 with a bevel 54 which makes it easier to snap on.
- the gain controller 32 can be adjusted with the rotary knob 50.

- the rotary knob 50 can be pulled off at any time if, for example, it is necessary to set the trimmer resistance 33. When the rotary knob is removed, the setting elements 36 are freely accessible.
