Definitions

  • the invention relates to a track tamping machine with a height-adjustable section tamping unit for tamping two immediately adjacent sleepers, which has two tamping tool pairs arranged one behind the other in the machine longitudinal direction for each side of a rail, which pairs of adjustable and into the ballast bed - on both sides of the sleepers and on both Rail sides - submersible, vibratable tamping tools with double pick, the inner tamping tools located on the facing sides of the tamping tool pairs can be immersed in the same sleeper compartment between two immediately adjacent sleepers and all tamping tool pairs with their tamping tools connected via auxiliary drives are arranged on a common tool support frame and with a common height distribution and vibration drive are connected.
  • a track tamping machine of this type - according to AT-A-313 957 by the same applicant - with a height-adjustable track tamping unit for tamping two immediately adjacent sleepers is known.
  • the tamping unit has a total of four tamping tool pairs, which consist of vibrating tamping tools that can be adjusted against each other and immersed in the ballast bed - in each case on the two longitudinal sides of the sleeper and on the two rail sides.
  • Each of these tamping tools is equipped with a so-called double pick, i.e. H.
  • the tamping tool pairs arranged one behind the other in the machine longitudinal direction are so directly arranged that the inner tamping tools located on the sides of the tamping tool pairs facing each other can be immersed in the same sleeper compartment between two immediately adjacent sleepers.
  • All pairs of tamping tools with their tamping tools connected via the respective auxiliary drives are arranged on a common tamping tool carrier and connected to a common height adjustment drive. All tamping tools can also be operated via a common vibration drive.
  • the vibratory drive thus forms a mechanical unit with the height adjustment drive and the auxiliary drives, with all drives being hydraulically actuated.
  • Such, so-called two-sleeper track tamping machines equipped with such a height-adjustable line tamping unit have proven themselves extremely well in practice, since these two-sleeper track tamping machines not only provide a significantly higher performance, but also because of the tamping tools which can be immersed in the same sleeper compartment and simultaneously moved in opposite directions a particularly reliable, even distribution of the ballast located in the sleeper compartment is brought about.
  • the use of such two-sleeper tamping machines in turnouts or such turnout track sections is just as impossible as tamping only one threshold - since the other unit would be in the way during the immersion process or due to other obstacles.
  • a track tamping machine for tamping tracks and switches - according to AT-A-303795 by the same applicant - is known, the tamping units of which are also designed as two-sleeper tamping units and whose tamping tools are only provided with a single pick.
  • These single-pimples are each mounted for lateral pivoting in a vertical plane to Beistellcardi of the tamping tool on a plane perpendicular to this axis and each having a hydraulically actuatable piston-cylinder - connected drive.
  • tamping tools of the two-sleeper tamping unit which can be pivoted sideways, are mounted together with the correction device on a part of the chassis frame which projects over the track to be corrected and can be adjusted transversely to the track axis, in order in particular to achieve a particularly good adjustment in track switch areas.
  • a tamping of the route is only insufficiently possible with these machines, if only because of the small number of pimples.
  • a track tamping machine - according to US-A-4,282,815 - is known which has two individual tamping units, each of which is height-adjustable via a separate drive and which are arranged directly adjacent on a common frame, to form a so-called double-sleeper tamping machine.
  • the two single tamping units each have tamping tool pairs, which consist of tamping tools with double pick, which can be provided against each other and can be immersed in the ballast bed on both longitudinal sides of the sleepers and on both rail sides, and can be vibrated.
  • This construction requires a relatively large amount of effort, since in addition to the two height adjustment drives, two vibration drives are required for each pair of tamping tools - thus a total of eight vibration drives, as can be seen from the plan of FIG. Furthermore, this construction has the disadvantage that the inner tamping tools, due to the special type of auxiliary and vibratory drive, cannot be arranged close enough, so that there are difficulties with the provision or, in the case of widely differing threshold distances, it is not possible to work as a two-sleeper tamping machine is. The individual units can are lowered and put into use separately from each other, but the height adjustment of the units to each other is often hindered by the design-related strong projection or the projecting part.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a track tamping machine of the type described in the introduction, the height-adjustable section tamping unit of which is suitable for tamping two immediately adjacent sleepers by simple measures and for tamping only one threshold.
  • the object of the invention is now achieved with a track tamping machine described at the outset in a surprisingly simple manner in that at least the foremost or rearmost tamping tools in the machine longitudinal direction of two tamping tool pairs of the two-shaft tamping unit adjacent in the transverse direction of the track - for independent adjustment of the other tamping tools - in each case one have a double-pick bearing bracket which is pivotally mounted about an axis running in the machine longitudinal direction on the corresponding tamping tool and is each connected to a side adjustment drive arranged on the tamping tool.
  • This immersion of the inner tamping tools in the ballast with gradual work feed with a simple threshold distance can advantageously only be carried out with the provision of the outer, associated tamping tools of this pair of tamping tools, with a further compaction of the ballast against the ground in the other threshold compartment - in which the two inner tamping tools are immersed is also achieved with simple threshold tamping.
  • the lower, double-pick bearing of these outer darning tools for lateral pivoting in a plane perpendicular to the direction of the darning tool is mounted on an axis running perpendicular to this plane and each connected to a side adjustment drive designed for pivoting.
  • This design is particularly useful and simple.
  • this side pivoting training has already proven itself in practice for tamping machines for processing turnouts with individual pick axes.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment according to the invention consists in the fact that only the outer tamping tools of the tamping unit, which are at the rear in the working direction, are designed such that they can be adjusted in height independently of all other tamping tools with such a holder which is height-adjustable with their double pick.
  • This training enables a particularly simple design of a two-sleeper tamping unit for conversion into a single-sleeper tamping unit.
  • an improved single-threshold tamping unit is created as a simple Strekken tamping machine, since the threshold compartment downstream of the threshold to be processed also has an additional side load to obtain further compaction towards the bottom or against the subgrade.
  • a particularly useful design according to the invention is that both the auxiliary drives for all eight tamping tools with double pick as well as the common height adjustment drive for all tamping tool pairs and the pivotable side adjustment drives are formed by hydraulically actuated piston-cylinder arrangements are and the common vibration drive is also designed as a hydraulic drive. Since the side adjustment drives are also designed as piston-cylinder arrangements in this drive design, this measure as a whole creates a further simplification with improved central control options.
  • the hydraulic cylinder-piston auxiliary drives are assigned, which are assigned to the inner tamping tools provided for plunging into the common sleeper compartment and preferably connected with cranked double pick - especially with step-by-step feed of all six double pick-ups and swiveled up Double pick with single threshold distance - can be blocked in the closest neighboring position.
  • This measure has the particular advantage of using this two-sleeper tamping unit as a single-sleeper tamping unit for larger sections of the route, so that even greater compression when tamping can be achieved for these longer track sections.
  • movable track pot leveling and straightening machine 1 has an elongated, at its ends via bogie trolleys 2 on a rail 3 and z.
  • a drive, energy supply and control device 7 is arranged on this.
  • a travel drive 9 is provided for advancing the machine 1 in the working direction shown by an arrow 8.
  • Operator cabins are provided at the two ends of the chassis frame 6, a driver and control panel 11 being arranged in the main operator cabin 10 at the rear in the working direction and being connected to a central control device via control lines.
  • the front end region of the tool support frame 12 is designed as a guide and is connected to the chassis frame 6 via a variable-length coupling device 14 for pivoting or tracking the support and guide wheel pair 13, or is mounted displaceably thereon.
  • the coupling device 14 is designed as a double-acting, hydraulic adjustment drive, the piston rod of which is articulated to the drawbar-shaped tool support frame 12.
  • the machine 1 is equipped with a so-called two-shaft section tamping unit 15, which is arranged on the tool support frame 12 and can be moved over each rail 3 in the working direction of the arrow 8 - for simultaneous tamping of two immediately adjacent, for example wooden cross sleepers 4- fitted.
  • a lifting and straightening unit 16 connected to the tool support frame 12 so as to be adjustable in terms of side and height, the tools for straightening and leveling the track 5 can be acted upon by leveling and straightening reference systems designed, for example, as wire reference lines 17 and 18.
  • All pairs of tamping tools 21 and 22 on both rail sides 19 and 20 with their tamping tools 24 to 27 connected by way of hydraulic cylinder / piston arrangements and auxiliary drives 31 and 32 are arranged on the common tool support frame and with a common hydraulic system -Cylinder-piston arrangement trained height adjustment drive 33 connected.
  • a common vibratory drive 34 which can also be acted upon hydraulically, each section tamping unit per rail forms a mechanical structural unit.
  • the outer tamping tools 24 and 27 of the two tamping tool pairs 21 and 22 of the tamping unit which are adjacent in the transverse direction of the track or are arranged on both sides 19 and 20 of each rail 3 15 each with its, the double pick 28 carrying bracket 35 for disengaging the same in height - regardless of the inner tamping tools - adjustable.
  • the lower holder 35 of the outer tamping tools 24 and 27, which carries the double pick 28, is mounted for lateral pivoting in a plane substantially perpendicular to the direction of the tamping tool, on an axis 36 which is substantially perpendicular to this plane.
  • the holder 35 is each connected to an adjustment drive 37 designed as a hydraulic cylinder-piston arrangement, the piston of which is articulated in each case on the upper end region of the associated tamping tool.
  • the two-sleeper section tamping unit 15 designed according to the invention can be seen in a partially schematic, diagrammatic illustration for better understanding.
  • the tamping unit 15 is in the raised position, ie the height adjustment drive 33 articulated on the tool support frame 12, which is also is designed as a hydraulic cylinder-piston arrangement, is in the retracted position.
  • the tamping unit 15 working in the working direction of the machine according to arrow 8 - corresponding to the position in FIG. 1 - has pivoted the two rear tamping tools 27 with the associated double pick 28 of the rear tamping tool pairs 22 in the lateral position.
  • This lateral pivoting was brought about by actuation of the respective adjustment drive 37 associated with the tamping tools 27 about the axis 36.
  • the rear wooden threshold 4 shown in the drawing and the two wooden cross sleepers 4 joined together to form a joint have already been supported, in each case after step-by-step advance of the tamping unit 15 of all six double axes associated with the respective tamping tools and the rear pivoted double axis 28 - with simple -Threshold distance.
  • 38 is an arrow which indicates the step-by-step feed size from sleeper compartment to sleeper compartment.
  • the tamping unit 15 which is height-adjustable on the common tool support frame 12, is shown movable on a track 42 with the support and guide wheel pair 13.
  • the respective threshold intermediate compartments are designated by 41.
  • the track consists of rails 43 and concrete cross sleepers 44, which rest on the ballast bed 45.
  • the track tamping leveling and straightening machine 1 with the two-sleeper section tamping unit 15 shown in FIG. 2 has not pivoted the outer tamping tools up and is set to a gradual working feed with a double threshold distance according to arrow 46.
  • the schematically indicated dashed position of the tamping unit 15 shows the position for the next tamping process, and expediently also with continuous (non-stop) advancement of the machine 1.
  • the tamping unit 15 can or will be moved over the position shown in FIG. 1 as a variable-length and designed as a hydraulic cylinder-piston arrangement coupling device 14 held in motion with the chassis frame 6 of the machine.
  • the machine 1 with the associated tamping units 15 per rail 3 can also be used in this way. that both the tamping units 15 and the machine 1 work step by step according to the respective feed size with single or double spacing.
