Definitions
- an angled baffle or deflector is provided behind the inlet opening (US-A-4 198 717), which detects the water that hits it braked by their angular position and moderately directed into the sludge bucket. This reduces the destructive power and the sludge and debris are not washed out of the sludge bucket.
- the water pattering on the deflecting part causes considerable noise, especially if the deflecting part is made of sheet metal or hard or plastic that has hardened over time. Even falling water drops cause a grueling sound that is transmitted through the pipe network in the building and is an unpleasant noise nuisance for the residents.
- the pressure force from the water striking the baffle plate is transmitted through the molded side walls to at least half of the sleeve, which is adequately supported in the container wall or in the cover plate.
- the pressure force will not be able to push the baffle plate out of its position, especially since it is in one piece with the sleeve and sits securely in the inlet opening.
- the dimensional stability of the baffle plate is achieved despite the soft material used with the features of claim 4.
- the molded one Rib prevents the baffle plate from sagging and, on the other hand, gives the impinging liquid the desired direction to drain off. This rib thus promotes the forwarding of the liquid and on the other hand offers increased stability while maintaining the good damping properties of the baffle plate.
- the baffle plate gives way elastically, the movements of which also take part in the middle rib.
- FIG. 1 shows a rainwater drainage container 1, which is closed with a cover plate 2, in which there is an inlet opening 3, into which a rainwater downpipe 4 opens.
- a deflection part 5 is attached below the inlet opening, which directs the water coming in via the rainwater down pipe to the side into an indicated sludge bucket 6. From there, the water flows through the drain opening 7 into the sewer network, not shown.
- the water flowing in through the rainwater downpipe 4 is pattering on the deflecting part 5 and if this is made of thin metal or plastic, the noise is transmitted to the drainage container and from it to the other pipes, resulting in an unpleasant background noise. This noise is damped by the baffle plate 8 of the deflecting part 5 being covered with a sound-absorbing coating 9.
- baffle plate 8a of the same soft and elastic material as the sleeve 10 extends at an angle a of 30 ° to the imaginary diameter of the sleeve 10.
- This baffle plate 8a extends at an angle at a distance below the entire opening the cuff 10, namely that the baffle plate 8a is formed on the cuff on the right side in the drawing and the wide opening between the baffle plate 8a and the cuff 10 remains to flow through on the left side.
- the baffle plate 8a is integrally connected to the edge 11 of the sleeve 10 over a length of approximately 180 °, so that the baffle plate 8a on the left side looks like an open shovel of an excavator.
- a central rib 13 is formed in the outflow direction. This center rib 13 also additionally provides a guide strip in the flow direction, which is indicated by arrow 14.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container, such as rainwater drainage, soil water drainage gully or the like, with a drainage and inlet opening, the inlet opening being followed by a deflecting part which gives a direction change to the incoming water. In the case of containers which hold soil or rainwater, it is customary to pass the inflowing water through a sludge bucket because of the possible entrainment of debris, in order to catch the debris and to avoid blockages in the pipe. So that the incoming water, especially if it enters the tank through a downpipe, does not hit the sludge bucket at full speed, an angled baffle or deflector is provided behind the inlet opening (US-A-4 198 717), which detects the water that hits it braked by their angular position and moderately directed into the sludge bucket. This reduces the destructive power and the sludge and debris are not washed out of the sludge bucket. The water pattering on the deflecting part causes considerable noise, especially if the deflecting part is made of sheet metal or hard or plastic that has hardened over time. Even falling water drops cause a grueling sound that is transmitted through the pipe network in the building and is an unpleasant noise nuisance for the residents.
In the case of a downpipe, an angled piece is known (US Pat. No. 2,813,593), in which the inner surface is covered with a cushion plate in the area of vertical impact. This cushion plate dampens the noise of the impinging liquid flow, but there are considerable difficulties in fixing the cushion plate. The metal strips used in turn cause annoying noises when the water drops hit. In addition, there is a booming effect due to the multi-part design of the angled piece and upholstery plate including the fastening strap.
It is an object of the invention to overcome these disadvantages and to get the partially gushing liquid with possibly contained debris and small, hard objects or dripping liquid even after a long period of time without noise and without splashing into the container.
This problem is solved according to the invention by the features specified in the characterizing part of
It has also proven to be advantageous to design the object according to
So that the baffle plate has sufficient stability with high water throughput and still maintains the required elasticity to dampen the noise, the subject of the application is further developed according to claim 3. The baffle plate sits on the flange like an excavator shovel, the baffle plate not only being fastened in the upper area, but also running away from the flange at an angle, but the baffle plate is also held laterally in an area of approximately 180 ° by side walls formed on the flange , so that there is great stability for the baffle plate and, on the other hand, the lateral opening has a sufficient cross section with respect to the inner diameter of the sleeve. The pressure force from the water striking the baffle plate is transmitted through the molded side walls to at least half of the sleeve, which is adequately supported in the container wall or in the cover plate. The pressure force will not be able to push the baffle plate out of its position, especially since it is in one piece with the sleeve and sits securely in the inlet opening.
The dimensional stability of the baffle plate is achieved despite the soft material used with the features of
As stated in the introduction, the incoming water should be led in a certain direction, in most cases into a sludge bucket. So that the damped insert part is used by every layman in the correct orientation, the object is equipped with the feature of
It has also proven to be advantageous to design the subject of the application according to
In order to give the cuff an even better fit in the cover wall and, on the other hand, to be able to receive the inlet pipe well and tightly, the subject of the application is finally designed according to
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing.
Es zeigt:
- Dig. 1 einen Regenablaufbehälter mit eingebautem Ablenkteil;
- Fig. 2 einen Deckel eines Regenwasserablaufs mit eingesetztem Ablenkteil in vergrößerter Darstellung gegenüber Fig. 1;
- Dig. 1 a rain drain tank with built-in deflector;
- FIG. 2 shows a cover of a rainwater drain with inserted deflecting part in an enlarged view compared to FIG. 1;
- Fig. 3 is a side view of the deflecting part partially cut and
- Fig. 4 is a plan view of a container cover plate with a deflector inserted.
In Fig. 2, the
From the
The
On the outside of the
