Claims (3)

1. Operating handle for a door, especially for push- ing or drawing a pivoting door, comprised of:
. a tubular profile length (2) with a polygonal, preferably rectangular, cross-section having a first so-called visible face (5) provided with at least one clearance (6; 13) and a second so-called smooth face (22) invertible with said visible face (5),
. two caps (3, 4) slided into each end (25, 26) of said tubular profile length (2) for fixing the handle (1) onto the leaf (21) of the pivoting door,
. a visualisation and/or protection member

characterized in that:
- said clearance (6) is formed by either a cut- out (6), communicating with the inside (18) of the tubular profile (2), made in said visible face (5) or a free space (13) located between the edges (14, 15) of two folded-back ends (11; 12) of two parallel wings (9; 10) of said visible face (5),
- said visualisation and/or protection member (16) is sidely inserted, from the ends (25) or (26) of the profile length, into the clearance (6; 13),
- said caps (3, 4), said tubular profile length (2) and said visualisation and/or protection member (16) co-operate with each other to ensure the locking of this latter, the holding at the front side and the holding at the lateral side of same when the handle is fixed onto the leaf while allowing its replacement,
- said caps (3, 4) being capable of butting against the ends of said visualisation and/or protection member (16) and capable of applying this latter member (16) against the inner wall (19; 20) of said visible face (5).

Operating handle according to claim 1, characterized in that said caps (3, 4) include an engaging foot (23; 24) oriented towards the inside of the profile length, applying the visualisation and/or protection member (16) against the innerwall (19; 20) of said visible face (5) of the tubular profile length (2), as well as a shoulder (27; 28) butting against the ends of the visualisation and/or protection member (16).
3. Operating handle according to claim 1, characterized in that said caps (3, 4) include an engaging foot (23; 24), oriented towards the inside of the profile length (2), the front face (32) of which butts against the ends of the visualisation and/or protection member (16) and applies the visualisation and/or protection member (16) against the inner wall (19; 20) of said visible face (5) of the profile length (2).
