Definitions

  • the invention relates to an apparatus for training football players in head, volley and half-volley games, comprising a movable bracket, adjustable in height, position and inclination, equipped with a reminder device. of the balloon consisting of a wire and a winder-unwinder.
  • a golf game training device comprising a winder-unwinder system of a wire at one end of which is fixed a ball (US-A-4125 230).
  • the electro-mechanical winder-unwinder ensures the automatic return of the bale against a base on which it comes to bear. With such a means of recalling and holding in position, a soccer ball would not have sufficient freedom to react in a manner similar to that of a free ball during a solicitation by the head or the foot of the player. ; which would completely distort player training.
  • the object of the present invention is to remedy the drawbacks presented by the combination of the two devices mentioned above.
  • the invention as characterized in claim 1 solves the problem of creating a training device for football players in head, volley and half-volley games, comprising a retaining device and positioning of the balloon, the height adjustment of which is effected by means of a tie rod of adjustable length and a sliding sleeve mounted on the mast and immobilized by a locking screw, and a mechanical or electro-mechanical winder-unwinder fixed to the stem by means of a sheath and a locking screw; the stem support mast being supported by a base equipped with removable casters with adjustable spacing and an operating screw.
  • the stem is adjustable in height, position and inclination by means of a sleeve and screws, a yoke and an axle, a sleeve fitted at the end of a mast support mast and a locking screw, an adjustable length tie rod and a sleeve sliding on the mast immobilized by a locking screw.
  • the balloon is recalled by means of a wire of appropriate length and a mechanical or electro-mechanical winder-unwinder; the balloon being fixed to the wire by means of a flexible tip provided with a threaded part and a threaded plug provided with a ring.
  • the balloon retaining and positioning device consists of a small ball crossed by the balloon return wire and fixed thereon at a determined distance from the balloon, and of a retention box of the bale, mounted at the end of a flexible orientation tube, crossed by the wire, made free to rotate, by means of ball bearings, a rigid tube and a spacer, relative to a sheath blocked by a screw at the end of the stem.
  • the small ball retention box consists of a cylindrical box, the inlet of which is provided with a flare, the bottom of which is provided with a threaded orifice allowing its connection to the flexible orientation tube and the wall of which is provided with lights into which the convex part of steel wire springs penetrates, the upper end of which is pressed against said wall, on the outside, by an elastic ring adjustable in position, and the lower end of which bears against the edge of the flare located at the entrance of the housing.
  • the winder-unwinder consists of a very light hollow reel, mounted on ball bearings, whose rotational drive for the winding is carried out by means of a simple plate, secured to the axis of the reel, and a retractable plate, provided with anti-friction linings, secured to a nut mounted on a threaded axis driven in rotation by an electric geared motor with controlled tensioning .
  • the energization of the electric reel drive gear motor is controlled by two electrical micro-switches fixed on the wall and outside of the retention box and penetrating inside it by lights, so to come into contact with the retaining and positioning ball, so as to respectively control the power off at the end of the wire winding and the timed power up after the balloon starts.
  • the winder-unwinder consists of a very light hollow reel, mounted on ball bearings, the rotary drive of which for the winding is carried out by means of toothed rings, one of which is integral with the reel and the other of which, retractable, is integral of a nut mounted on a threaded axis driven in rotation by a train of spur gears and.
  • a chain pinion a transmission chain and another chain pinion, integral with a crank, mounted at the end of a sheath locked by a screw on an arm articulated with respect to a sliding sleeve mounted on the bracket support mast by means of a yoke and an axis, or by the same gear train, a bevel gear, a splined shaft with longitudinal movement and by a bevel gear, secured to a crank, mounted on a plate secured to a sliding sleeve on the mast support mast.
  • the stem support mast is supported by a base, equipped with removable casters with adjustable spacing by means of telescopic arms, supporting two sleeves in which an operating guide and the stem support mast respectively, locked in position by screws.
  • the advantages obtained thanks to this invention consist essentially in this: that the height of the ball can be adjusted very precisely with respect to the ground, according to the size of the player and the type of training, and that the ball is always at a determined distance from the retention box whose adjustment is made to just compensate for the weight of the balloon, so that it can escape and release the wire at the slightest shock; which makes it possible to obtain a trajectory corresponding in all points to that which would be obtained with a completely free balloon.
  • the device consists mainly of a base 1, equipped with removable casters 2 with adjustable spacing via telescopic arms 3 and 4, supporting two sleeves 5 and 6, in which s respectively fit an operating guide 7 and a mast 8; an adjustable bracket, in lateral position, by means of a sleeve 10 and of screws 11, in inclination by means of a yoke 12 integral with the sleeve 10 and an axis 14 arranged at the end a sleeve 13 fitted at the upper end of the mast 8 and immobilized by the screw 60; a winder-unwinder 15 mounted at the end of a sheath 16 fixed to the end of the bracket 9 by a locking screw 17; a sliding sleeve 18 with locking screw 19, connected to the sheath 16, supporting the winder-unwinder 15, by a tie rod of length 20; an arm 21, articulated relative to the sliding sleeve 18 by means of an axis 22 and a yoke 23, on which a sleeve
  • the flexible tube 31 is made free to rotate relative to the sheath 29 by means of a rigid tube 37, ball bearings 38 and a spacer 39.
  • the soccer ball 33 is positioned in height and supported by means of a small ball 40, retained in the housing 32 by means of steel wire springs 41, held against the outer wall of the housing 32 by an annular elastic 42, the convex part 41a of which penetrates inside the housing 32 by slots 43 and one of the ends 41b of which bears against a flaring 32a located at the entrance of the housing 32.
  • the ball 40 is fixed to the wire 36, which passes through it, by means of knots or rings 44.
  • the winder-unwinder 15 consists, in the mechanical embodiment, of a drum 45, toothed rings 46 and 47, one of which is integral with the axis of the drum 45 and the other of which is integral with a nut 48 mounted on a threaded axis 49 driven in rotation by a spur gear train 50 and 51, a chain pinion 52 and a transmission chain 28 or, in a preferred embodiment , shown in FIG. 8, by a first bevel gear 63 mounted on a plate 64 secured to the sliding sleeve 18, of a transmission by sliding splined shaft 65 and a second bevel gear 66 in direct engagement with the spur gear train 50 and 51.
  • the winder-unwinder consists, in the electro-mechanical embodiment, of a drum 45, integral with the simple plate 53 and a retractable plate 54, provided with anti-friction linings. secured to a nut 55 mounted on a threaded pin 56 driven in rotation by a gear motor 57.
  • the base 1 consists of a tubular frame in the sides of which fit, telescopically, arms 3a and 3b. 4a and 4b, at the end of which are removable casters 2.
  • the telescopic arms 3a and 3b are locked in position by means of screws 58a and 58b, 59a and 59b.
  • On the top of the base are fixed, between two crosspieces 1a and 1b, the sleeves 5 and 6 in which the operating guide 7 and the mast support mast 8 fit respectively.
  • the height, with respect to the ground, of the ball 33 can be adjusted very precisely, depending on the size of the player and the type of drive, by action on the sliding sleeve 18 after loosening and then tightening the screw 19, since this allows the inclination of the bracket 9 to be varied by means of the tie rod 20.
  • the adjustment range can be modified by longitudinal displacement of the bracket 9 relative to the sleeve 10. after loosening and then tightening the screws 11, or / and by modifying the penetration depth of the mast 8 in the sleeve 13, after loosening then tightened the locking screw 60, and in the sleeve 6, after loosening and tightening the screw 62.
  • the balloon 33 is always at a determined distance from the retention housing 32, the tension of the springs 41 of which is adjusted by action on the elastic ring 42, to just compensate for the weight of the balloon 33, so that the ball 40 can escape and release the wire 36 at the slightest impact on the ball. It is easily understood that by rolling the elastic ring 42 on the springs 41, their action on the ball 40 is increased or decreased as desired.
  • the micro-contactor 66 for cutting the power supply to the motor at the end of winding
  • the micro-contactor 67 for timed re-energization of the motor, being stressed by the ball 40, we have been properly de-energized, during the introduction of the ball 40 into the housing 32 at the end of winding, and timed re-energization when the balloon leaves, by the micro-contactor 67; provided that said contactors 66 and 67 have been chosen, wired and incorporated into an appropriate circuit relating to current electrical control techniques.
  • the apparatus according to the invention is intended mainly for training football players but it could be used, subject to some modifications, also for other sports using a ball such as basketball and volleyball -ball for example.
