Definitions
- the invention relates to an electromagnetically actuated fuel injection valve for injection systems of internal combustion engines, with a valve housing, a soft iron core arranged within the valve housing and carrying a fixed lifting magnet winding, and a valve closure plate which forms an armature and which forms an armature and forms an armature an annular seat enclosing an outlet can be acted upon and is guided axially movably with its radially circumferential edge on a guide correspondingly enclosing it.
- the disadvantage here is that the fuel outlet from the outlet can only be influenced to a limited extent by the shape of the outlet.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a fuel injection valve according to the preamble which enables a uniform and easily atomizable outlet of the fuel from the outlet at a defined outlet angle.
- valve closure plate has a coaxially protruding pin which projects through or into the outlet.
- valve closure plate In order to guide the pin centrally in the outlet, the valve closure plate is guided with its peripheral edge. This edge can jam in its guide and tilt it, which leads to an inclination of the pin in the outlet. However, this has a negative effect on the outlet of the fuel from the outlet.
- the valve closure plate can have a spherical cross-section at its radially circumferential edge, the edge preferably being ground.
- valve closure plate does not lift off the entire ring seat at the same time during an opening or closing process, but rather only allows fuel to flow through when resting on one side of the ring seat on the opposite side of the ring seat .
- Such influencing of the beam is avoided in that the valve closure plate with the radially outer region of its outlet-side surface can be supported on an abutment ring concentrically surrounding the ring seat with radial spacing, which is arranged at approximately the same distance from the valve closure plate as the ring seat.
- the pin can have a groove-shaped transition to the outlet-side surface of the valve closure plate, the transition in the outlet-side surface of the valve closure plate preferably being formed as a recess.
- valve closure plate in the places that come into contact with other components of the fuel injector, e.g. Surface-hardened, wear by friction is largely prevented despite maintaining the good magnetic properties of the valve closure plate forming the armature.
- Such positions are e.g. the contact surfaces on the ring seat and the contact ring as well as the spherical, radially peripheral edge.
- the fuel injection valve shown has a valve housing 1, in which a winding body 2 with the magnetic winding 3 is arranged.
- a soft iron core 4 provided with a through-bore 5 extends through the winding body 2 and forms an inlet nozzle 6 with its one end protruding from the valve housing 1.
- the other end face of the soft iron core 4 is opposed by an air gap forming a valve closure plate 7 forming an air gap, which has a sealing surface 8 on its side opposite the soft iron core 4.
- valve closure plate 7 By acting on a compression spring 9 supported on the soft iron core 4, the valve closure plate 7 is urged to bear against an annular seat 10 projecting axially to the valve closure plate 7 and enclosing an outlet 11. At a radial distance, the ring seat 10 is surrounded by a bearing ring 12 which also projects axially to the valve closure plate 7 and which is at a slightly greater distance from the valve closure plate 7 than the ring seat 10.
- the fuel passes through radial through grooves 13 on the end face of the soft iron core 4 and axial through holes 14 in the Ven tilverschlußplatte 7 in the annular gap which is formed between the ring seat 10 and the bearing ring 12.
- the valve closure plate 7 is lifted from the ring seat 10 against the force of the compression spring 9, the fuel can flow further to the outlet 11 and through it.
- valve closure plate 7 which has a pin 15 projecting through the outlet 11
- this is guided with its radially circumferential edge 16 in a correspondingly designed guide 17.
- a plastic covering 19 designed as a disk is arranged on the support surface 18.
- the valve closure plate 7 is axially movable between the support surface 18 provided with the plastic covering 19 and the ring seat 10.
- valve closure plate 7 Since the abutment ring 12 is located in the radially outer region of the valve closure plate 7, the valve closure plate 7 is lifted off the entire surface of the ring seat 10 at the slightest opening movement, so that fuel can flow to the outlet 11 from all sides.
- the pin 15 has a fillet-shaped transition 20 to the outlet-side surface of the valve closure plate 7, this transition 20 having a recess in the outlet-side Surface of the valve closure plate 7 is formed forming.
- This fillet-shaped transition 20 leads to a perfect deflection of the fuel into the outlet 11.
- the pin 15 is formed with such a rotationally symmetrical deflection surface 21 that it safely causes a certain jet angle and good atomization of the fuel emerging from the outlet 11.
- the proper guidance of the valve closure plate 7 in the guide 17 and on the contact ring 12 ensures the uniformity of the fuel flow.
Abstract
