Definitions
- the invention relates to a spacer with an elongated support for reinforcement of concrete structures or components.
- spacers made of plastic for concrete reinforcement known (DE-GM 77 30 442, DE-GM 78 10 889, DE-GM 82 24 733), which are designed as a hollow profile body open at the bottom. Such spacers lie with the lower edges of the profile on the formwork, while the top of the profile forms the support for the reinforcement.
- Spacers of this type are well suited for numerous applications, but their use in other cases encounters difficulties or for certain reasons not possible. For example, it may not be desirable for a spacer to be in contact with the formwork over relatively extensive areas, but nevertheless the support and compliance with the position of the reinforcement must be as secure as possible. Furthermore, there is often the requirement that no plastic should be used at all for a part lying against the formwork and thus becoming visible on the outside of the concrete after stripping.
- the object of the invention is to take existing difficulties into account and to create a spacer which also meets special requirements, particularly those of the type specified above, as well as possible and is suitable for a variety of practical requirements. Further problems connected with all of this, with which the invention is concerned, result from the respective explanation of the indicated solution.
- the invention provides that individual support bodies projecting in one direction are provided on a rail-shaped or strip-shaped support part at a distance from one another.
- a rail-shaped or strip-shaped support part at a distance from one another.
- both the support body and the support part can each be designed in different ways, so that the most varied requirements can be taken into account.
- the support part can be made of plastic, in particular by extrusion, or it can consist of metal in cases where no plastic is to be used at all, which is understood to mean both steel and a non-ferrous metal.
- the support bodies can be hat-shaped or in the form of a truncated cone. They can be made from steel by deep drawing, but can also be solid. In another embodiment, the support bodies are bow-shaped, and in particular they can have an essentially V-shaped or W-shaped shape.
- the spacing of the support bodies from one another can be selected in such a way that it best corresponds to the expected load.
- This also includes an embodiment in which openings, recesses or the like in the support part. for inserting support bodies are available in a relatively large number, which can then be equipped all or only partially with support bodies depending on the requirements.
- the support bodies can be arranged in succession on the support part in alignment, for example in a row, or else in a number of rows or other arrangements, in particular with a mutual offset.
- the spacer 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a rail-like support part 2, on which there are individual support bodies 3, each projecting in the same direction.
- the support part 2 can in particular be an element produced by extrusion and consist of plastic or else of steel or a non-ferrous metal. This also applies accordingly to all other versions of the spacer.
- the support part 2 has a web 2a provided with a row of openings 4 and legs 2b extending therefrom on one side with mutually facing parallel grooves 5 formed therein.
- the support bodies 3 (cf. also FIGS. 3 and 4) are hat-shaped here, similar to a thimble, and can in particular be deep-drawn from corrosion-resistant steel, e.g. so-called V2A steel. They have a flange-like widening 6 at the rear end, which can be square or rectangular or else circular. The latter is indicated by the dot-dash line 6 in FIG. 4.
- the support bodies 3 When using the spacer 1 at the place of use, the support bodies 3 come to rest against the formwork S indicated in dash-dot lines in FIG. 2, while the reinforcing bars B or the like. on the other side of the support part 2, i.e. rest on the end faces of the legs 2b, and thus be held at the desired distance from the formwork, as also shown in FIG. 2.
- Such a spacer is very versatile. It can be considered in particular for vertical installation, as can the explanations to be explained according to FIGS. 10 and 12 to 14, while the embodiment according to FIG. 11 is particularly suitable for horizontal installation. Otherwise, this can depend on the respective conditions and requirements.
- FIG. 5 shows a support body 8 made of concrete, in particular fiber concrete, in the form of a truncated cone, which also has a flange-like widening 9 at the rear end.
- a support body 8 made of concrete, in particular fiber concrete, in the form of a truncated cone, which also has a flange-like widening 9 at the rear end.
- Such a support body can be used in an embodiment of the type illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 instead of the hollow support body 3 there, the grooves 5 then being given a greater height in accordance with the greater thickness of the widening 9, but it can also be used in others use for explanations.
- Such a support body can also be used in an embodiment of the type shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
- FIGS. 1 and 2. 6 illustrates another embodiment of the spacer, in which the support part 13, which is also rail-shaped or strip-shaped here, has mutually facing parallel grooves 14 on one side of a web 13a, into which the support bodies 10 with the flange-like widenings 12 are inserted.
- a frictional engagement or clamp fit is advantageously provided for holding the support body 10 in the grooves 14 such that the support bodies can only be inserted into the grooves 14 with a certain amount of force and are then held securely in their place.
- the number 13b denotes legs extending from the web 13a, on which the reinforcement comes to rest during use.
- FIGS. 8 and 9 have similar to the support body 3 a rotationally symmetrical hollow shape and have slots 16 on diametrically opposite sides, in such a way that they can be pushed onto a support part 17 (FIG. 9) which has parallel linear projections 18, the latter into the slots 16 intervene.
- the projections 18 can in particular form the delimitation of grooves 14 in which the end regions of the support bodies 15 can be accommodated.
- the support part 17 according to FIG. 9 can correspond to that according to FIG. 6.
- the support body 15 advantageously consist of corrosion-resistant steel.
- hollow support bodies those made of solid material can also be provided, for example made of concrete, these grooves or the like corresponding to the slots 16. have, in which the projections 18 of the support part 17 engage.
- the support body 15 can also have a certain elasticity in the radial direction.
- protrusions 18 on the support part 17 engaging in the slots 16 of the support body 15 or in corresponding grooves of a support body protection against rotation of the support body is provided, which may be desirable in special cases.
- the same is achieved in other versions with angular widenings (e.g. 12 'in Fig. 6) at the end of a support body.
- FIG. 10 and 11 show two designs of spacers in which the support part 13 is the same or substantially the same as that shown in FIG. 6, that is to say parallel grooves 14 facing one another, a web 13a and Has leg 13b, the reinforcement coming to rest on the latter during use.
- Bow-shaped parts 21 and 22 are provided as support bodies, specifically in the embodiment according to FIG. 10 in V-shape and in the embodiment according to FIG. 11 in W-shape. The latter can be particularly advantageous when the spacer is installed horizontally and generally increases stability.
- the bow-shaped support bodies 21, 22 are made of corrosion-resistant steel and are each provided with a bead 23 or 24, which extends over most of their length, in the expedient embodiment shown, which contributes to increasing the load-bearing capacity.
- the support bodies 21 and 22 each have lugs 25, which are formed by bends and with which they can be inserted into the grooves 14 of the support part 13.
- a positional securing by means of a clamp fit can be achieved in that the bow-shaped support bodies 21, 22 have a certain resilience in the transverse direction in such a way that their legs 21a, 22a with the lugs 25 have a distance from one another before installation which is greater than the distance between the Grooves from each other, and therefore must be pressed towards each other against the existing spring force so that the lugs 25 can get into the grooves 14.
- the support bodies can then be brought to the desired location and are fixed after they are released.
- the support part 13 has openings 20 in its web 13a (only one of which is shown), through which the concrete can pass during concreting.
- openings are advantageous, among other things. provided at those locations at which the support bodies are arranged.
- the support parts are expediently provided with openings for the concrete, without this being shown in detail.
- FIGS 10 and 11 an embodiment of a spacer is shown, in which the support body 26 are also bow-shaped and have a V or W shape, but do not engage with their ends in parallel grooves of the support part, as in the embodiments according to FIGS 10 and 11, but are held in individual recesses 27.
- the latter are provided in pairs at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the support part 28 in the web 28a thereof and have an approximately T-shaped shape with a transverse part 27a and a longitudinal part 27b.
- the number 28b denotes legs extending from the web 28a for the support of the reinforcement.
- Each support body 26 equipped with a certain elasticity is provided on the end parts 29 of its stirrup legs 26a each with a profile, which here has the shape of two punched-outs 30 lying opposite one another.
- the relevant support body 26 When inserting the relevant support body 26 is compressed so far that the ends can be inserted through the correspondingly dimensioned transverse parts 27a of the recesses 27 to a certain depth.
- the legs 26a When released, the legs 26a then spring apart, the areas 29a left between the punched-out portions 30a moving through the correspondingly wide longitudinal parts 27b of the recesses 27 and coming to rest against the bottom thereof.
- the final state is thus reached, in which the support bodies 26 are locked and securely fixed on the support part 28.
- the invention includes all possibilities in which such a principle of engagement of two ends of a support body in recesses, recesses, openings or the like. is realized.
- Openings 20 for the passage of the concrete are also present in the web 28a of the support part 28.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a spacer with an elongated support for reinforcement of concrete structures or components.
There are elongated spacers made of plastic for concrete reinforcement known (DE-GM 77 30 442, DE-GM 78 10 889, DE-GM 82 24 733), which are designed as a hollow profile body open at the bottom. Such spacers lie with the lower edges of the profile on the formwork, while the top of the profile forms the support for the reinforcement.
Spacers of this type are well suited for numerous applications, but their use in other cases encounters difficulties or for certain reasons not possible.
The object of the invention is to take existing difficulties into account and to create a spacer which also meets special requirements, particularly those of the type specified above, as well as possible and is suitable for a variety of practical requirements. Further problems connected with all of this, with which the invention is concerned, result from the respective explanation of the indicated solution.
The invention provides that individual support bodies projecting in one direction are provided on a rail-shaped or strip-shaped support part at a distance from one another. In contrast to known designs, only the ends of these support bodies come into contact with the formwork, while the reinforcement rests on the side of the support part facing away from the support bodies. With such a spacer, both the support body and the support part can each be designed in different ways, so that the most varied requirements can be taken into account.
This applies first of all to the material of the support body and the support part. In particular, the support bodies can consist of a material that is at least largely insensitive to corrosion and is not a plastic, in particular from a corresponding steel. Furthermore, the support bodies can be made of concrete, which term includes all types of concrete, in particular fiber-reinforced concrete. In this case, a core part can be provided inside the support body, to a certain extent as a scaffold, which can be made of plastic or metal. Finally, in all cases in which plastic is permitted, it can also be provided as a material for the support body.
The support part can be made of plastic, in particular by extrusion, or it can consist of metal in cases where no plastic is to be used at all, which is understood to mean both steel and a non-ferrous metal.
There are still numerous possibilities with regard to the shape and other configuration of the support body and the support part. For example, the support bodies can be hat-shaped or in the form of a truncated cone. They can be made from steel by deep drawing, but can also be solid. In another embodiment, the support bodies are bow-shaped, and in particular they can have an essentially V-shaped or W-shaped shape.
Finally, there are numerous possibilities within the scope of the invention for the arrangement, attachment or connection of the support bodies on or with the support part. The support bodies in openings, recesses or the like are advantageous. of the support part inserted, with numerous versions are possible in detail.
The support part can have a number of openings over its length, into which the support body can be inserted from one side are inserted and the like with a widening. Find system on the support part. The position can be secured by an abutment inserted into the grooves of the support part, for example a strip of material, a plate or the like. respectively. Further training is explained in detail in the part of the description relating to the drawings.
The support bodies can in principle be firmly connected to the support part after attachment, e.g. by gluing, welding or the like, or they can be releasably attached. To hold the support body on or in the support part, a clamp fit or frictional engagement can be provided with particular advantage.
In the support part there are expediently openings, recesses or the like, which allow concrete to pass through during the concreting process.
The spacing of the support bodies from one another can be selected in such a way that it best corresponds to the expected load. This also includes an embodiment in which openings, recesses or the like in the support part. for inserting support bodies are available in a relatively large number, which can then be equipped all or only partially with support bodies depending on the requirements. According to the invention, the support bodies can be arranged in succession on the support part in alignment, for example in a row, or else in a number of rows or other arrangements, in particular with a mutual offset.

The
In this exemplary embodiment, the
The support bodies are inserted through the openings 4 so that they fit into them, and are then in contact with the end widening 6 on the back of the
But it is also possible to fix the
When using the
Such a support body can also be used in an embodiment of the type shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. 6, on the other hand, illustrates another embodiment of the spacer, in which the
The above applies mutatis mutandis to all supporting bodies, or the like with approaches, widenings, projections. 3 and 4 or FIG. 5, but also for
By
The bow-shaped
At the ends of their
In FIG. 10, the
Mit der Ziffer 28b sind vom Steg 28a abgehende Schenkel für die Auflage der Bewehrung bezeichnet.12 to 14, an embodiment of a spacer is shown, in which the
Each
All of the features mentioned in the above description or shown in the drawing, if the known prior art permits, should be regarded as falling within the scope of the invention on their own or in combinations.
