An der Unterseite des Greiferrahmens 12 befinden sich starre Deckelhalter 25, die mit flachen Schienen auf der Oberseite des Deckels 18 aufsetzen. Am inneren Ende der vier Riegel 19 sind Abkröpfungen 26 vorgesehen, die sich über die flachen Schienen der Deckelhalter 25 schieben, wenn die Mitnehmer 23 die Riegel 19 in die Öffnungsstellung schieben. Der Deckel 18 ist also in der Greifvorrichtung 8 gehalten, sobald die Verriegelungsvorrichtung 19 - 22 in Öffnungsstellung gebracht ist. Wie die Fig. 4 zeigt, ist die Zentrifugentrommel 2 mit ihrem Trommelboden 30 auf einer im wesentlichen senkrechten Motorwelle 33 befestigt. Der Antriebsmotor 34 ist auf einem Motorträger 35 befestigt, der über einen Zapfen 36 in einem elastischen Lager 37 gehalten ist. Da die Zentrifugentrommel 2 mit ihrem Antriebsmotor 34 im elastischen Lager 37 pendelt, ist die Führung des Fangbolzens 41 an einer Konsole 38 befestigt, die starr mit dem Motorträger 35 verbunden ist. Der Fangbolzen 41 ist mit einer konisch zulaufenden Spitze versehen. In dieser Spitze ist eine Rolle 42 gelagert, die nach Zustellung des Fangbolzens mittels des Zustellzylinders 44 am Trommelboden 30 bzw. auf einem dort angeordneten Laufring 43 abrollt. Erreicht die Trommel 2 nach ihrem Abbremsen und nach Zustellen des Fangbolzens die richtige Position, dann schnellt der Fangbolzen 41 in eine der beiden Ausnehmungen 40 und hält somit die Zentrifugentrommel 2 in der richtigen Position fest, so daß der Kasten 3 von der Greifvorrichtung 8 ohnen weiteres ergriffen werden kann.As shown in FIG. 4, the
Die von der Zuführvorrichtung zugeführten Kästen 3 stoßen gegen einen Anschlag 39, der dafür sorgt, daß die zugeführten Kästen so stehen, daß sie von der Greifvorrichtung 8 ohne weiteres ergriffen und einer der beiden Zentrifugen 1,1' zugeführt werden können. Die Feststellvorrichtung 40 - 45 sorgt dafür, daß nach dem Zentrifugieren die Zentrifugentrommel 2 bzw. 2' in eine ausgerichtete Greifstellung gelangt. Jeder zugeführte Kasten 3, der von der Greifvorrichtung aufgenommen wird, wird mit einem Deckel 18 verschlossen und verriegelt. Nach dem Absetzen eines zentrifugierten Kastens 3 übernimmt die Greifvorrichtung 8 dessen Deckel und hält ihn solange fest, bis ein neuer, von der Zuführvorrichtung 4 zugeführter Kasten 3 mit einem Deckel versehen und verriegelt werden soll.
Die Ausnehmungen 40 im Trommelboden 30 sind durch Kappen 44 zum Trommelinneren hin abgeschlossen. Die abgeschleuderte Flüssigkeit wird von der Wanne 28 aufgefangen und durch den Ablauf 29 abgeführt.

Claims (7)
- A centrifuging apparatus comprising at least one automatically loadable and unloadable centrifuge (1), a travelling gripping device (8) which is arranged above the centrifuge (1) and which can be raised and lowered for gripping, raising, transporting and setting down containers which are rectangular in plan view and which can be fitted in a receiving frame of a rotor which can be engaged in the region of their upper edge by the gripping device (8), and a device for holding the rotor in a defined position after slowing down thereof, characterised by the following features:a) the rotor is in the form of a centrifuge drum (2, 2') having a rectangular receiving frame (31) which is adapted to the containers and the four corner points of which are arranged at the same distance from the axis of the centrifuge;b) the containers are upwardly open transportation boxes (3) which can be filled with small parts of metal or plastics material and the walls of which are provided with openings for the centrifugally extracted liquid;c) the transportation boxes (3) are closable by means of a box cover (18) provided with a locking device (19, 22); andd) the gripping device (8) for the transportation boxes (3) is provided with an actuating device (23, 24) for opening or closing the locking device (19-22) for the box cover (18) and is also provided with a cover holder (25) which holds a box cover (18) fast after opening of the locking device (19-22) and releases it after closure of the locking device (19-22).
- Apparatus according to claim 1 characterised by a fixing device comprising two apertures (40) arranged in diametrally opposite relationship in the edge region of the drum bottom (30) and a catch pin (41) which can engage into one of the apertures (40).
- Apparatus comprising a centrifuge drum (2, 2') which is fitted on to a substantially vertical motor shaft (33) of a drive motor (34) fixed on a resiliently mounted motor support (35), according to claim 2, characterised in that the catch pin (41) is longitudinally movably mounted and guided on a bracket (38) rigidly connected to the motor support (35).
- Apparatus according to claim 3 characterised in that mounted in the tip of the catch pin (41) is a roller (42) which rolls against the drum bottom (30) and engages into the aperture (40).
- Apparatus according to claim 4 characterised in that arranged beneath the drum bottom (30) is a running ring (43) for the roller (42), the ring (43) being provided with the apertures (40).
- Apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that four longitudinally displaceable locking bars (19) are disposed on the box cover (18) and each two locking bars (19) are rigidly connected together by way of a locking bridge member (20) and fixed in the middle of the locking bridge members (20) are limb portions (22) co-operating with entrainment members (23) which are mounted at the underside of the gripping frame (12) in such a way as to be displaceable in opposite directions and drivable by an operating cylinder (24).
- Apparatus according to claim 6 characterised in that disposed at the underside of the gripping device (8) are two cover holders (25) which have flat bar members which bear against the box cover (18) and which are so arranged that the locking bars (19) are displaced over said bar members when they are opened.
