A device according to the claim 1, characterized in that the means for presenting one and/or the other of the yarns (1, 2) in the nose of the needle (7) during rotation of the spindle (6) are in the form of guides adapted to be actuated selectively so as to present one or the other of the two yarns or the two yarns together inside the nose of the needle.
3. A device according to the claim 2, characterized in that the guides are in the form of a double cam (8).
