Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Werkzeug zum Crimpen, Schneiden, Pressen oder dgl. nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1, mit linearem Arbeitsweg und einem zwischen die Griffhebel und den Werkzeugkopf eingeschalteten Hebeltrieb, der es gestattet, mit Hilfe der zusammenzudrückenden Griffhebel einen erheblichen Druck auf die das Crimpen, Schneiden, Pressen oder dgl. bewirkenden Werkzeuge auszuüben. Ein Mangel der bisherigen Werkzeuge (siehe US-A-27 04 001) besteht darin, daß ihre Herstellung mit erheblichen Schwierigkeiten verbunden ist, weil die einzelnen Werkzeugteile mit größter Präzision arbeiten müssen, um überhaupt die gewünschte Verbindung oder Verformung der Werkstücke herbeizuführen.The invention relates to a tool for crimping, cutting, pressing or the like. Von ganz besonderer Bedeutung ist aber, daß zwischen die Griffhebel eine auf den jeweils erforderlichen Enddruck der Werkzeuge einstellbare Zwangssperre eingeschaltet ist, die ein Öffnen des Werkzeuges vor dem Erreichen dieses Enddruckes verhindert. Damit ist die Sicherheit gewährleistet, daß jedes Werkstück mit dem erforderlichen Druck verformt wird und ein Ausschuß durch unsachgemäße Verarbeitung vermieden ist. Zweckmäßig ist die Zwangssperre aus einer verstellbaren Ratsche gebildet, deren Rastklinke an einem Griffhebel sitzt und mit einem am anderen Griffhebel vorgesehenen Zahnsegment zusammenarbeitet, wobei Rastklinke und Zahnsegment zur Regelung der Öffnungszeit gegeneinander einstellbar sind. Zu diesem Zweck ist auf der Innenseite des einen Griffhebels 12 ein Zahnsegment 20 vorgesehen, während an dem anderen Griffhebel 11 eine Schaltklinke 21 in einem Lager 22 auf einem Zapfen gelagert ist. Wie ersichtlich, ist die in dem Lager 22 vorgesehene Lagerbohrung 24 länglich, so daß sich der Lagerzapfen 23 in dieser Bohrung verschieben kann. Diese Verschiebung wird durch eine Lagergabei 25 bewirkt, in der ein Gewindezapfen 26 vorgesehen ist, auf dem eine Stellmutter 27 aufgedreht ist. Diese führt sich in einem am Hebel 11 vorgesehenen Schlitz 28 und bewirkt bei ihrer Betätigung ein Hin-und Herschieben des Lagerzapfens 23 in seiner Lagerstelle 24.
