  • This invention relates to a window particularly designed to be mounted in an inclined roof and comprising, in a known manner, cf. the published Danish patent application No 1831/82 and WO 82/ 00842, a main frame and an element that may be opened in relation thereto, said openable element including an intermediate frame which is hinged to the main frame at the top thereof and is permanently urged in its opening direction and a pane supporting sash which in the region of its horizontal centre axis is pivotally mounted in the intermediate frame, said openable element and main frame being provided, at least at one side of the window, with cooperating arresting means to retain the openable element in the closed position.
  • the arresting means of the openable element are mounted on the sash in the vicinity of its pivot axis and are adapted by the opening and closing movement of the window which is effectuated by a coordinated swinging of the sash in relation to the intermediate frame and of the latter in relation to the main frame, to engage and disengage the corresponding arresting means of the main frame.

  • the sash In the normal, arrested position of the intermediate frame 3 the sash can be operated as an ordinary pivot sash, for instance by using a handle 18 mounted at the top of the sash and which is connected with a coupling device which at this place permits a releasable locking of the sash with the intermediate frame. If desired, an operation of the handle 18 may also be effectuated after the arresting of the main frame 1 and the intermediate frame 3 has been released.

Claims (3)

1. Fenster, insbesondere für den Einbau in ein schräges Dach und bestehend aus einem Fensterrahmen (1) und einem im Verhältnis zu diesem öffnungsbaren Element, welches einem oben im Hauptrahmen an diesen angelenkten Zwischenrahmen (3) umfasst, der permanent in seiner Öffnungsrichtung vorbelastet ist, sowie einen verglasten Flügelrahmen (7), der im Bereich seiner waagrechten Mittelachse (2) in dem Zwischenrahmen drehbar gelagert ist, wobei das öffnungsbare Element (3, 7) und der Fensterrahmen (1) zumindest auf der einen Seite des Fensters zusammenarbeitende Arretierorgane (5, 6) aufweisen, um das öffnungsbare Element in der geschlossenen Stellung zu halten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Arretierorgan (5) des öffnungsbaren Elements auf dem Zwischenrahmen (3) angeordnet ist, und dass die zusammenarbeitenden Arretierorgane (5, 6) mittels eines inwendigen Auslösegriffs (9) entriegelbar sind.
2. Fenster nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zusammenarbeitenden Arretierorgane (5, 6) einen in den Zwischenrahmen (3) festsitzenden Zapfen (5) und ein zum auslösbren Eingriff mit dem Zapfen (5) auf dem Fensterrahmen befestigtes Sperrelement (6) umfassen.
3. Fenster nach Anspruch 2 und mit zu beiden Seiten des Fensters vorgesehenen Arretierorganen (5, 6), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zwei Sperrelemente (6) an einen gemeinsamen Auslösegriff (9) angeschlossen sind.
