Definitions
- the invention relates to a multi-component washing, rinsing or cleaning agent package for direct use in washing machines, dishwashers or cleaning machines, consisting of an outer bag for holding at least one first product component and at least one further internal body for holding at least one further product component, the at least one internal body is a freely movable inner bag, which is filled with the at least one further product component and is initially made of film which is impermeable to the product but is water-soluble at a predetermined temperature.
- Detergents, dishwashing detergents and cleaning agents are being developed and used to an increasing extent and are intended to develop their effect at a very specific point in time during use in the machine process. In order to save labor, it is desirable to add these products to the washing process or the like from the beginning and not only at the intended time - if necessary, if the machine process is interrupted.
- a water-soluble outer bag is provided, which is initially impermeable to water and product and only becomes water-permeable and product-permeable as a result of the dissolution process of the outer bag when a first hole is created.
- continuous and metered product delivery through the outer bag is not guaranteed.
- the materials for water-soluble films are so flexible and of such low inherent stiffness that such outer bags are easily deformable and there is a risk that they will stick to the inner surfaces of the washing machine, e.g. B. on the machine porthole of the washing machine, fix and the bag is not moved with the laundry.
- FR-A-2 358 499 describes a one-component packaging for a solid or granular to powdery finishing agent, which at least in some areas has a double wall consisting of two porous layers, the majority of the finishing agent until the end of the washing process or until the start of a drying process holds back.
- the finishing agent should only emerge gradually through the porous double wall and, if possible, hardly at the beginning of the washing process.
- this pack has the disadvantage that, due to the specially designed double wall, it is very difficult to manufacture and, on the other hand, it is not guaranteed that the product will be evenly discharged from the packaging bag at the start of the washing process.
- a porous packaging bag made of water-insoluble material is known from EP-A-0011 501, which can optionally consist of several chambers. In this case, however, the individual chambers are firmly connected to one another, which entails an increased outlay when filling the packaging bag with various components. Likewise with this packaging bag there is also the risk that the bag will stick to the inner surfaces of a washing machine due to the flexibility of its material.
- the water-soluble pouch holding the product can be made, for example, from PVAL (polyvinyl alcohol).
- PVAL polyvinyl alcohol
- the temperature of the water solubility of the film can be predetermined (see Hoechst, Information from Application Technology, August 1980, 31-41).
- the application becomes problematic and prone to errors if several components are either to be used one after the other in time or components which are incompatible with one another during storage are to be used simultaneously. In such cases, a correspondingly large number of different individual packagings must be kept ready and added to the washing, rinsing or cleaning process in the appropriate formulation.
- the object of the invention is to provide a multi-component packaging for washing, rinsing or cleaning agents, which can be added to the washing, rinsing or cleaning process from the start and which makes the first product component effective immediately upon contact with water at the start of washing, rinsing. or cleaning process enables, but only releases further product components at a later time depending on a predetermined wash water temperature, whereby an essentially uniform and continuous delivery of product components from the packaging is guaranteed.
- the multi-component packaging should have a certain inherent rigidity and be easy to fill.
- the outer bag consists of a water-permeable and product-permeable, open-pore polyurethane foam film with material resilience.
- the packaging is prevented from sticking to the inner surface of the respective washing, rinsing or cleaning device, for example on the machine porthole of a washing machine. This ensures that, for example, the detergent
- the multi-component packaging according to the invention can be produced without great technical outlay and can be easily filled with different product components.
- the treatment agent is generally water; in principle, however, the invention relates to any treatment agent to be mixed with the respective product component even if only water, water solubility or water permeability are mentioned.
- the invention provides that the outer bag contains at least two inner bags that are water-soluble at different temperatures and / or filled with different components.
- the invention accordingly creates a bag-like packaging which consists of an outer bag and at least one inner bag inserted therein.
- the outer bag should be permeable to water and product in relation to the packaging material, while water solubility is provided for the inner bag (s) at a predetermined temperature.
- the outer bag formed from water- and product-permeable packaging material can be filled with powdered detergent and can hold one or more inner bags, which consist of warm or cold water soluble PVAL film and a second product component, e.g. B. in paste, powder, tablet or liquid form.
- the product directly in the outer bag is usually dissolved immediately after the water supply and, in the presence of a movement, “rolled out” and finely divided and fed to the wash liquor or the like.
- the packaging according to the invention can also be used for different products which are to be used together at the same time but, for certain reasons, are to be kept separate during transport and storage.
- the respective inner bag can then consist of film which is soluble in the water inlet, in particular in cold water. If the content of one or more inner bags is only to be added when a certain water temperature is reached, the film material of the respective bag is already set accordingly during its manufacture. At the end of the respective washing, rinsing or cleaning process, as a rule - according to the prerequisite - nothing more can be found from the inner bags. In contrast, the emptied outer bag remains of a suitable nature in the machine and can be removed (and usually thrown away) together with the treated goods.
- the multi-component packaging shown in section in FIGS. 1 and 2 can be used in washing machines, dishwashers or other cleaning machines.
- the packaging according to Fig. 1 consists of an outer bag 1 made of open-pore PUR foam as a water-permeable packaging material and an inner bag, e.g. made of PVAL film, the outer bag containing a first product component, e.g. B. with powdered product 3, and the inner bag 2 should be filled with a second product component 4.
- the second product component 4 can be in the form of powder, tablets, anhydrous paste or liquid.
- the outer bag 1 and the inner bag 2 can be partially or completely filled with the respective product 3 or 4.
- the seams 5 and 6 of the outer bag and inner bag are preferably welded.
- the material of the inner bag 2 is selected depending on whether the product 4 contained in the inner bag 2 is to be released at the same time as the product 3 contained in the outer bag 1 or at a later time or at a different outside temperature.
- the inner bag 2 can consist of PVAL film that is soluble in cold water or hot water soluble at a certain temperature. While the PUR material of the outer bag 1 has a relatively large wall thickness of z. B. may have 2 mm, the film of the inner bag 2, which is usually completely dissolve when used, only a thickness of z. B. order of magnitude 25 microns.
- a plurality of inner bags 2, 2 'with different product contents 4, 4' can also be contained in the outer bag 1.
- the outer bag 1 can consist of water-permeable packaging material and can be filled with the first product component 3.
- the inner bags 2, 2 ' can consist of cold water-soluble PVAL film and can be filled with a second component 4 which is to be added to the washing process or the like at the same time as the first component 3, while the inner bag 2 'holds a third component 4' which is only at a higher temperature, eg 40 ° C, and / or to be added at a later time and therefore, for example, from a higher temperature temperature to produce water-soluble material.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multi-component washing, rinsing or cleaning agent package for direct use in washing machines, dishwashers or cleaning machines, consisting of an outer bag for holding at least one first product component and at least one further internal body for holding at least one further product component, the at least one internal body is a freely movable inner bag, which is filled with the at least one further product component and is initially made of film which is impermeable to the product but is water-soluble at a predetermined temperature.
Detergents, dishwashing detergents and cleaning agents are being developed and used to an increasing extent and are intended to develop their effect at a very specific point in time during use in the machine process. In order to save labor, it is desirable to add these products to the washing process or the like from the beginning and not only at the intended time - if necessary, if the machine process is interrupted.
A multi-component packaging of the type mentioned at the outset is known from US = A-4115 292. With this packaging, however, it is disadvantageous that here a water-soluble outer bag is provided, which is initially impermeable to water and product and only becomes water-permeable and product-permeable as a result of the dissolution process of the outer bag when a first hole is created. As a result, continuous and metered product delivery through the outer bag is not guaranteed. When a first hole is created, water suddenly gets into the outer bag and clumps the detergent there. Furthermore, the materials for water-soluble films are so flexible and of such low inherent stiffness that such outer bags are easily deformable and there is a risk that they will stick to the inner surfaces of the washing machine, e.g. B. on the machine porthole of the washing machine, fix and the bag is not moved with the laundry.
Furthermore, from FR-A-2 358 499 and EP-A-0011 501, water and product-permeable detergent packs have been known from the start.
Dieser Packung haftet zum einen der Nachteil an, dass sie aufgrund der speziell ausgebildeten Doppelwand nur sehr aufwendig herzustellen ist und zum anderen ein gleich zu Beginn des Waschprozesses einsetzender gleichmässiger Produktaustrag aus dem Verpackungsbeutel nicht gewährleistet ist.FR-A-2 358 499 describes a one-component packaging for a solid or granular to powdery finishing agent, which at least in some areas has a double wall consisting of two porous layers, the majority of the finishing agent until the end of the washing process or until the start of a drying process holds back. Here, the finishing agent should only emerge gradually through the porous double wall and, if possible, hardly at the beginning of the washing process. On the one hand, this pack has the disadvantage that, due to the specially designed double wall, it is very difficult to manufacture and, on the other hand, it is not guaranteed that the product will be evenly discharged from the packaging bag at the start of the washing process.
A porous packaging bag made of water-insoluble material is known from EP-A-0011 501, which can optionally consist of several chambers. In this case, however, the individual chambers are firmly connected to one another, which entails an increased outlay when filling the packaging bag with various components. Likewise with this packaging bag there is also the risk that the bag will stick to the inner surfaces of a washing machine due to the flexibility of its material.
Another packaging is described in "The new packaging" 10/1962, 1150-1155. The water-soluble pouch holding the product can be made, for example, from PVAL (polyvinyl alcohol). Depending on the material composition and production method, the temperature of the water solubility of the film can be predetermined (see Hoechst, Information from Application Technology, August 1980, 31-41). The application becomes problematic and prone to errors if several components are either to be used one after the other in time or components which are incompatible with one another during storage are to be used simultaneously. In such cases, a correspondingly large number of different individual packagings must be kept ready and added to the washing, rinsing or cleaning process in the appropriate formulation.
The object of the invention is to provide a multi-component packaging for washing, rinsing or cleaning agents, which can be added to the washing, rinsing or cleaning process from the start and which makes the first product component effective immediately upon contact with water at the start of washing, rinsing. or cleaning process enables, but only releases further product components at a later time depending on a predetermined wash water temperature, whereby an essentially uniform and continuous delivery of product components from the packaging is guaranteed. Furthermore, the multi-component packaging should have a certain inherent rigidity and be easy to fill.
This object is achieved in the case of a multi-component packaging of the type mentioned at the outset in that the outer bag consists of a water-permeable and product-permeable, open-pore polyurethane foam film with material resilience.
Es wird dadurch sichergestellt, dass beispielsweise beim Waschen die Waschmittel-Due to the use of an open-pored polyurethane foam film with material resilience for the outer bag, the packaging is prevented from sticking to the inner surface of the respective washing, rinsing or cleaning device, for example on the machine porthole of a washing machine. This ensures that, for example, the detergent
Die erfindungsgemässe Mehrkomponentenverpakkung ist ohne grossen technischen Aufwand herstellbar und leicht mit unterschiedlichen Produktkomponenten befüllbar.portion with its additives pulsates and rotates together with the laundry. The fact that the outer bag is retained during the entire washing process ensures that the released and released product components are released evenly and continuously when water gets into the outer bag. In particular, the product component initially located in the inner bag does not suddenly emerge from the package after the inner bag film has dissolved, but rather gradually flows out through the outer packaging bag. The multi-component packaging according to the invention can be produced without great technical outlay and can be easily filled with different product components.
In the context of the invention, the treatment agent is generally water; in principle, however, the invention relates to any treatment agent to be mixed with the respective product component even if only water, water solubility or water permeability are mentioned.
Furthermore, the invention provides that the outer bag contains at least two inner bags that are water-soluble at different temperatures and / or filled with different components.
The invention accordingly creates a bag-like packaging which consists of an outer bag and at least one inner bag inserted therein. The outer bag should be permeable to water and product in relation to the packaging material, while water solubility is provided for the inner bag (s) at a predetermined temperature. For example, the outer bag formed from water- and product-permeable packaging material can be filled with powdered detergent and can hold one or more inner bags, which consist of warm or cold water soluble PVAL film and a second product component, e.g. B. in paste, powder, tablet or liquid form.
When in use, the product directly in the outer bag is usually dissolved immediately after the water supply and, in the presence of a movement, “rolled out” and finely divided and fed to the wash liquor or the like. The packaging according to the invention can also be used for different products which are to be used together at the same time but, for certain reasons, are to be kept separate during transport and storage. The respective inner bag can then consist of film which is soluble in the water inlet, in particular in cold water.
- Figure 1 shows the cross section of a multi-component packaging with an inner bag. and
- Fig. 2 shows the cross section of a multi-component packaging with two inner bags.
The multi-component packaging shown in section in FIGS. 1 and 2 can be used in washing machines, dishwashers or other cleaning machines. The packaging according to Fig. 1 consists of an
