Teilprothese gehalten werden. Trotz genauer Vorgaben der Hersteller in der Gebrauchsanleitung über das Mischungsverhältnis von Pulver und Flüssigkeit dosiert die Mehrzahl der Anwender "nach Gefühl" über die Viskosität der dabei entstehenden Mischung. Hierdurch ergeben sich Schwankungen in den Werkstoffeigenschaften, im Farbeindruck und im Schrumpfungsverhalten. Außerdem ergibt sich durch das nicht-stöchiometrische Mengenverhältnis ein erhöhter Restmonomergehalt und damit einhergehend eine höhere gesundheitliche Belastung der Patienten.
