Description

The invention relates to a washing, rinsing, cleaning agent packaging or the like with a water-soluble bag containing a product at a predetermined temperature.

Detergents, dishwashing detergents and cleaning agents are being developed and used to an increasing extent and are intended to develop their effect at a very specific point in time during use in the machine process. In order to save labor, it is desirable to add these products to the washing process or the like from the beginning and not only at the intended time - if necessary when the machine is interrupted.

A corresponding packaging of the type mentioned above is described in "The new packaging" 10/1962, 1150-1155. The water-soluble pouch holding the product can be made, for example, from PVAL (polyvinyl alcohol). Depending on the material composition and production method, the temperature of the water solubility of the film can be predetermined (see Hoechst, Information from Application Technology, August 1980, 31-41). The application becomes problematic and prone to errors if several components are either to be used one after the other in time or components which are incompatible with one another during storage are to be used at the same time. In such cases, a correspondingly large number of different individual packagings must be kept ready and added to the washing, rinsing or cleaning process in the appropriate formulation.

The invention has for its object to provide a multi-component packaging based on the packaging mentioned. The solution according to the invention is characterized for a packaging consisting of a treatment agent or water-soluble bag at a predetermined temperature, by a water-permeable and product-permeable outer bag receiving a first product component as a covering for the water-soluble bag receiving another product component as the inner bag. In the context of the invention, the treatment agent is generally water; in principle, however, the invention relates to any treatment agent to be mixed with the respective product component even if only water, water solubility or water permeability are mentioned.

The invention accordingly creates a bag-like packaging which consists of an outer bag and at least one inner bag inserted therein. The outer bag should be permeable to water and product in relation to the packaging material, while water solubility is provided for the inner bag (s) at a predetermined temperature. For example, the outer bag formed from water- and product-permeable packaging material can be filled with powdered detergent and can hold one or more inner bags, which consist of warm or cold water-soluble PVAL film and a second product component, e.g. in paste, powder, tablet or liquid form.

In order to ensure that the inner bag also dissolves the contents completely and reliably in the intended period of time, it is advantageous to better separate the outer bag from a not completely flexible flat structure a film with a certain material resilience. An open-pore PUR foam film (PUR = polyurethane) is particularly suitable for the outer bag and contains the product to be used first in the respective washing process or the like together with the inner bag or bags. The special nature of PUR foam film with a certain material resilience prevents the packaging from sticking to the inner surface of the respective washing, rinsing or cleaning device, for example on the machine porthole of a washing machine. It is thus ensured that, for example, the detergent portion with its additives pulsates and rotates together with the laundry during washing.

When used, the product directly in the outer bag is usually dissolved immediately after the water has been fed in. and in the presence of a movement "rolled out" and finely divided fed to the wash liquor or the like. The packaging according to the invention can also be used for different products which are to be used together at the same time but, for certain reasons, are to be kept separately during transport and storage. The respective inner bag can then consist of film which is soluble in the water inlet, in particular in cold water. If the content of one or more inner bags is only to be added when a certain water temperature is reached, the film material of the respective bag is already set accordingly during its manufacture. At the end of the respective washing, rinsing or cleaning process, as a rule - as required - there will be nothing left of the inner bags. In contrast, the emptied outer bag remains of a suitable nature in the machine and can be removed (and usually thrown away) together with the treated goods.

Further details of the invention are explained on the basis of the schematic representation of exemplary embodiments. Show it:
  • Figure 1 shows the cross section of a multi-component packaging with an inner bag. and
  • Fig. 2 shows the cross section of a multi-component packaging with two inner bags.

The. 1 and 2 in section multi-component packaging can be used in washing machines, dishwashers or other cleaning machines. 1 consists of an outer bag 1 made of water-permeable packaging material, for example of open-pore PUR foam, and an inner bag, for example of PVAL film, the outer bag having a first product component, for example a powdery product, 3, and the inner bag 2 should be filled with a second product component 4. The second product component 4 can be in the form of powder, tablets, anhydrous paste or liquid. The outer bag 1 and the inner bag 2 can be partially or completely filled with the respective product 3 or 4. By specifying the degree of filling, the mode of operation of the packaging with regard to retention and dispensing of the component in question can be supported according to the product and its task. The seams 5 and 6 of the outer bag and inner bag are preferably welded. The material of the inner bag 2 is selected depending on whether the product 3 contained in the inner bag 2 contained in the inner bag 2 is to be released at the same time as the outer bag 1 or at a later time or at a different outside temperature. For example, the inner bag 2 can be made from cold water-soluble or from warm water-soluble PVAL at a certain temperature. Foil exist. While the PUR material of the outer bag 1 can have a relatively large wall thickness of, for example, 2 mm, the film of the inner bag 2, which as a rule can be completely dissolved when used, should only have a thickness of, for example, the order of 25 micrometers.

According to FIG. 2, the outer bag 1 can also contain a plurality of inner bags 2, 2 'with different product contents 4, 4'. For example, as in FIG. 1, the outer bag 1 can consist of water-permeable packaging material and can be filled with the first product component 3. There are then many variations for the inner bags 2, 2 '. For example, the inner bag 2 can consist of PVAL film which is soluble in cold water and can be filled with a second component 4 which is to be added to the washing process or the like at the same time as the first component 3, while the inner bag 2 'holds a third component 4' which only takes place at a higher temperature, e.g. 40 ° C, and / or to be added at a later point in time and therefore, for example, from a water-soluble material only at the higher temperature. Alternatively, the inner bags 2 and 2 'can also be produced from foils which are used at different temperatures, e.g. at 40 ° C and 75 ° C, are hot water soluble, so that the bag content is automatically added to the respective treatment process precisely when the surrounding liquor has just reached the required temperature.

The outer bag 1 can in principle be made of any material that meets the requirements for water and product permeability. In particular, the outer bag can also consist of water-soluble material. However, care should be taken to ensure that the total of the remaining packaging after dissolving the in the outer bag contain en product component so stiff and relative to the surrounding fleet is so heavy that it neither baked to the inside wall of the device nor floats on the surface of the liquid, because otherwise the dissolution of the contents of the inner bag could be adversely affected. To solve such problems, it is therefore advantageous if the smaller inner bags are placed in an outer bag with open-pore PUR foam film, which has a certain material resilience and, in conjunction with the overall packaging, prevents floating on the cleaning solution or the like.
