Abstract

Bei diesem Verfahren zur Herstellung von Fibriden aus thermoplastischen Kunststoffen, wie Polyolefinen, Polyvinylhalogeniden, Polyvinylidenhalogeniden, sonstigen Polymeren auf Basis von Vinylderivaten, Polyamiden, Polyestern, Polyacrylnitril, Polyurethanen, deren Copolyme­ ren u.dgl., werden entsprechende unter erhöhtem Druck und erhöhter Temperatur stehende Polymerlösungen in einer Zweistoffdüse unter scherinduzierenden Bedingungen einer Entspannungsverdampfung in Gegenwart eines gasförmigen Treibmittels unterworfen.
Zwecks Verarbeitung thermoplastischer Kunststoffe, auch aus bei nur wenig über dem Schmelzpunkt liegenden Temperaturen zersetzungsempfindlichen Polymeren, z.B. PVDF, zu echten Fibriden, die sich durch u.a. hohe spezifische Oberfläche auszeichnen, wird die echte oder scheinbare Lösung des Polymeren in einem Lösungsmittel unter Anwen­ dung von überhitztem Wasserdampf bei einer mittleren Ener­ giedichte von mindestens 50 Ws/cm³ in der Zweistoffdüse entspannt.
