Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a flat press for pressing out wet mop covers, which are clamped onto a holder, consisting of a bottom provided with holes and a cover which can be pressed against the latter, the wet mop cover with holder being insertable between the bottom and the cover.
A press for squeezing wet mop covers is known from GB-A-2 011 249. This press has a base and a cover with an elastic covering, and the wet mop cover is inserted between the base and cover and pressed against the base by pressing the cover.
The invention is based on the object of improving the water drainage through the floor in a flat press of the type mentioned.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the floor is provided with a covering made of an elastic material, that the covering has through holes whose hole pattern matches the hole pattern of the holes in the ground, and that the surface of the covering consists of an essentially water-impermeable or Water not absorbing layer is formed.
The covering preferably consists of a plate made of rubber, in particular foam rubber, which is adapted to the shape and size of the floor.
The lid is expediently also provided on its underside with a covering made of an elastic material, which consists of a plate made of rubber, in particular foam rubber, adapted to the shape and size of the cover, the surface of the covering consisting of an essentially water-impermeable or non-water-absorbent Layer is formed. The thickness of the covering can be about 0.5-10.0 cm.
The lid is advantageously pivotable relative to the floor by means of at least one lever which is rotatably mounted on the lid and which is designed as a two-arm angle lever, the end of one of the two lever arms being supported lengthways on a side wall which is firmly connected to the floor and on which a rolling curve is formed which rolls the end of this lever arm provided with a roller during the actuation of the lever. The lever can be returned to its starting position by means of a return spring.

Fig. 1 shows schematically a
The
The
The
This maintains the elasticity and deformability of the foam rubber, but prevents water absorption through the rubber plate.
A covering 60 made of an elastic material can expediently also be attached to the underside of the
The
Fig. 2 zeigt in Schrägansicht den Deckel 20, wobei in Fig. 1 der Deckel 20 noch durch eine nicht näher bezeichnete Haube abgedeckt ist.FIG. 2 shows the
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As FIG. 2 further shows, the
Fig. 4 shows an oblique view of one of the two
As already mentioned, each of the two
In the starting position, i.e. When the press is open, as shown in FIG. 1, the
The
- The wet cover is inserted into the open press, as shown in Fig. 1. Thereafter, the
bracket 26 is gripped on itshandle bar 28 and pivoted forward toward the operator. During this pivoting movement, therollers 44 come into contact with the respective rolling curve at the ends of thelever arms 34 46, therollers 44 acting at least temporarily as a fulcrum. Thebracket 26 is thereby pivoted downwards, thecover 20 being carried along by means of the bearing pins 36 which are firmly connected to thelever arms 32 of the bracket, since the bearing pins 36 are mounted in thetabs 38 of thecover 20. Thecover 20 is pivoted only about itsaxis 18, while thebracket 26 rotates on the one hand about the central axes of itsjournals 36 and on the other hand is pivoted about the respective contact point of therollers 44 on the rolling curves 46.
If the
The pressing force can be changed, for example, by changing the diameter of the
The flat press according to the invention makes it possible to achieve a very high degree of dryness when squeezing wet mop covers.
In its rear part, the
