Abstract

The device comprises a tensioning lever (2) which is pivotably supported about a supporting axis (6) on one part of a boot. A first tie acts upon the tensioning lever (2) and is attached in a longitudinally adjustable manner to that part of a boot which, relative to the part carrying the tensioning lever, is to be tensioned with variation of the width of a slit lying therebetween. Operating the tensioning clasp (2) causes this slit between the two parts to be opened or closed. A further lever (16) is pivotably articulated on the tensioning lever (2), the pivot axis (8) of this further lever being parallel to the pivot axis (6) of the tensioning lever (2). This further lever (16) can be coupled to a further tie (20). This further tie (20) is in turn attached to a part which is to be tensioned with the part carrying the tensioning lever (2) and, in its respective position relative to the part (3) carrying the supporting axis (6) of the tensioning lever (2), is attachable to this part (3). The opening movement of the tensioning lever (2) in the direction of the arrow (13) thus enables the additional tensioning member (20) to be tensioned whereas the subsequent closing movement of the tensioning lever (2) in a direction opposed to the arrow (13),causes the first tie (9) to be tensioned in the desired manner. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a tensioning device for closing two slots, with a tensioning lever which swivels about a bearing axis with a tension member acting eccentrically to the bearing axis on the tensioning lever and can be connected to a further tension member for closing the second slot, the tension members in one another opposite direction are resilient to train. Tension levers are usually used for buckles on ski boots. In order to achieve the clamping forces required for the perfect closure of the ski shoe buckles, the buckles and thus the clamping levers must be dimensioned appropriately large if they are to remain easy to use. Above all, with regard to the fact that the buckles of ski boots are mostly operated with ski gloves, certain minimum dimensions are required.

In modern ski boots, a slot in the instep area of the shell is closed with such tensioning buckles in the level, the adjacent or overlapping edges of the slot being tensioned against one another. A plurality of such buckles are arranged in the level in the instep area or in the area of a cuff facing the shoe tip. When using cuffs in addition to a lower shell, the wearing comfort of the shoe can be significantly improved if a slot is provided in the Achilles tendon area near the upper edge of the cuff, the width of which is adjustable. Tightening this slot in the rear area of the cuff has the result that the foot is pressed into the template. Appropriate provision can be made for standing upright in a shoe closed in the remaining areas by widening this slot in the rear area of the cuff. There are already different ones Training for closing and opening this additional slot in the heel-side area or in the A chill tendon area of the cuff has been proposed. For the application of higher closing forces in this area with good usability, however, an additional buckle seems necessary. For such additional buckles, however, with regard to the large dimensions of the buckles, spatial restrictions when mounting on the outside of the shoe are generally to be expected.

A 23 35 679 has already disclosed an embodiment of a tensioning lever which is connected to two tension members. The tensioning lever is slidably mounted on a part of the shoe and for this reason it is only possible with such a configuration to apply a symmetrical force to both sides of the tensioning lever. If two slots of a shoe are to be closed with such a tensioning lever, both slots can only be closed with an identical tensioning force.

The invention now aims to provide a tensioning device of the type mentioned, with which two tension members loaded in the opposite direction can be tensioned with separate, adjustable force, so that only one tensioning lever is required to two in the circumferential direction of a cuff or to be able to close slits adjacent to a shell. To achieve this object, the design according to the invention is such that the tension member and the bearing axis of the tensioning lever can be fixed on two parts to be clamped together, that a further lever pivotable relative to the tensioning lever about an axis parallel to the bearing axis is articulated, its pivot axis end facing away from an attack point of the further tension member can be placed in operative connection and that the additional tension member in its respective position relative to that of the bearing axis of the tensioning lever load-bearing part can be fixed on this. In such an S pannschnalle can directly acting on the clamping lever tension member by pivoting the tensioning lever in its position, for example in contact with the outer side of a collar or shell are tensioned and it affects the tensioning buckle in relation to an example, arranged in the instep area tension member as the usual tensioning buckles of Ski boots. Opening the tensioning buckle by pivoting away from the level of the bearing block leads to a strain relief of the tension member connected to the tensioning lever and thus to an opening of the corresponding slot. During this opening movement of the tensioning lever, the additional pivotable lever can now be brought into engagement with a point of application of a further tension member, so that the further tension member is tensioned in relation to the first tension member during the opening movement of the tensioning lever. Tensioning the second tension member leads when the tension lever is opened to close the slot covered by the second tension member and it is now only necessary to ensure that the second tension member can be fixed in the respective position in order to maintain the tension even then , if the pivoted lever on the tensioning lever is released again. To achieve such a clamping force, the pivotable lever, like the first tension member acting directly on the clamping lever, must act or be articulated eccentrically to the bearing axis of the clamping lever. A relatively small component, the dimensions of which are considerably smaller than the dimensions of an additional tensioning buckle with an additional tensioning lever, is then sufficient for fixing the further tension member in its respective position. With such a configuration, two tension members, which are loaded in the opposite direction to tension, are alternately closed, wherein the second tension member can be tensioned during the pivoting to open the one tension member. After setting this second tension member in the tensioned position, the first tension member can then be tensioned in a conventional manner by pivoting the tensioning lever back toward the anchoring point of the bearing block. The two tension members can be fixed rigidly or length-adjustable on the side of the slot opposite the tensioning lever. It is also conceivable, of adjustment to improve the base plate of the bearing bracket of the clamping buckle or the A ngriffstelle of the tensioning lever on the traction members variable length form.

Several locking points of a toothing can be provided for the length-variable determination of the tension members. In a preferred manner, at least one pawl and / or clamp is provided for fixing the additional tension member. In this context, a pawl has the advantage that the respective position of the further tension member is automatically locked when this tension member is tensioned and is released again only by releasing the lock of the pawl.

In order not to impair the proper functioning of the tensioning lever for the tension of the tension member acting directly on the tensioning lever, the lever pivotably articulated on the tensioning lever can be pivoted against the force of a spring from a position in abutment to a part of the tensioning lever into a pivoted-out position. In this way, the additional tensioning function for the further tension member is carried out only by depressing the lever pivotably articulated on the tensioning lever, while the usual pivoting of the tensioning lever for tensioning the tension member directly engaging on this tensioning lever can be carried out in a conventional manner.

The point of attack of the further tension member can be designed as a recess or projection in the free end region of the further tension member, in which case the pivotable lever has a hook or an eye at its free end can have. If the device for fixing the additional tension member is designed as a pawl, it is advantageous, however, if the additional tension member can be completely removed from the pawl, since otherwise a certain automatic tension of the tension member occurs due to the movement of the edges of the slot, for example in the case of a ski boot could result due to the relatively low flexibility of the tension member. In order to facilitate such removal of the additional tension member from the device for fixing the additional tension member, the point of application for the pivotable lever is advantageously designed as a recess and the pivotable lever is advantageously designed as a hook.

A particularly preferred embodiment of the tensioning lever according to the invention has an opening through which an actuating member of the pivotable lever projects. If the actuating member of the pivotable lever is designed as a nose, a relatively large material cross section results in the region of the bearing point of the pivoting lever articulated on the tensioning lever, which results in high strengths with relatively small dimensions.

The tension buckle according to the invention can be used in a particularly advantageous manner in connection with ski boots in which the problems discussed at the beginning occur. Hiebei the training is preferably made so that the bearing axis of the tensioning lever for closing two expandable slots of a shoe is fixed on the outside thereof and that the bearing axis of the tensioning lever and the pawl or clamp for the further tension member are adjacent to each other on the same part of the shoe are. When using the tensioning lever to close slits of the cuff in the forefoot area and in the Achilles tendon area, the remaining wall area of the cuff can be between the two slits without further arrange a relatively large and easy-to-use tensioning buckle with a correspondingly dimensioned tensioning lever and a relatively small device for fixing the further tension member next to each other and relative to this wall part of the sleeve in the longitudinal direction of the tension members slidably or rigidly. In a particularly advantageous manner, the tensioning lever according to the invention is arranged on a ski boot or mountaineering boot such that one of the two slots is provided in the pist area of a cuff or a shaft and the second slot in the Achilles tendon or heel area of the cuff or shaft.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. 1 shows a plan view of the arrangement of a tensioning lever according to the invention on the shaft of a shoe, FIG. 2 shows an enlarged illustration of the tensioning lever in a side view analogous to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a view of the tensioning lever according to FIG. 2 in the direction of the arrow III of FIGS. 2 and 4 is a perspective view of a further embodiment of the tensioning lever.

In Fig. 1, a tensioning buckle 1 is shown, which has a tensioning lever 2. The tensioning lever 2 can be pivoted about a bearing axis 6 fixed to a part 3 of a sleeve 4 of a ski boot 5, the bearing axis 6 being arranged in a bearing block 7. Eccentrically with respect to the bearing axis 6, a first tension member 9, which is pivotally attached to a further axis 8, is fixed in an adjustable manner on the side of a slot 10 opposite the bearing axis 6. A pawl 11 is provided for the length-adjustable fixing, the actuating part 12 pivotably engaging on the tension member 9. By pivoting the actuating part 12, the tension member 9 is released in the pawl 11 and can be pressed in the respective selected position of the actuating part 12 to be fixed to the tendon 9.

A pivoting of the tensioning lever 2 in the direction of arrow 13 away from the surface 14 of the sleeve 3 leads to a relief of the tension member 9 and thus allows an expansion of the slot 10 against the direction of the arrows 15. U MGE versa performs a pivoting of the clamping lever 2 opposite to the direction 13 to a to g loading of the tension member 9 and thus to a distortion of the slot 10 in the direction of the arrows 15 °.

A further lever 16 is pivotally mounted on the tensioning lever 2 about the axis 8, the free end of which is designed as a hook 17. In the Achilles tendon area of the cuff 3, a further slot 18 is provided, the edges of which can be stretched towards one another in the direction of the arrow 19. For this purpose, a further tension member 20 is provided, which is fixed via a screw or rivet connection 21 to the part of the sleeve opposite the tensioning lever 2 and has an opening 22 at its free end for the engagement of the hook 17.

On the part 3 of the sleeve, on which the bearing block 7 of the tensioning lever 2 is also fixed, a pawl 23 is in turn fixed by a screw or rivet connection 24, with which the tension member 20 can be fixed in the respective position relative to the slot 18. This pawl 23 in turn has an actuating member 25, which is supported, for example, spring-loaded on the tension member 20 against the pulling direction and releases the tension member 20 by pressing it down.

Es kann somit mit einem Spannhebel 2 sowohl der Schlitz 10 als auch der Schlitz 18 geschlossen werden.1, the tensioning lever 2 is opened with respect to the first tension member 9 by pivoting in the direction of the arrow 13. By depressing the further lever 16 before the start of this opening movement in the direction of arrow 13, the hook 17 became engaged with the Recess 22 of the further tension member 20 brought so that in the course of the opening movement of the tensioning lever 2 in the direction of arrow 13 with respect to the first tension member 9, a closing force is exerted on the edges of the slot 18 by means of the tension member 20. The tension member 20 is transported through the pawl 23 and as long as the actuator 25 is not arbitrarily pressed down in the direction of arrow 26 takes place automatically a determination of the Z ug member 20 in the respective position and thus closing movement with respect to the rear slot 18 in the By moving the tensioning buckle 2 against the direction of the arrow 13, the hook 17 again comes out of engagement from the recess 22 and the selected position of the tension member 20 is maintained by the pawl 23. A complete pivoting of the tensioning lever 2 against the direction of the arrow 13 on the outside of the sleeve part 3 leads to tension in the area of the front slot 10 in the direction of the arrows 15. Both the slot 10 and the slot 18 can thus be used with a tensioning lever 2 getting closed.

The tensioning lever 2 is fixed about the bearing axis 6 on the bearing block shown in FIG. 1 and carries the further bearing axis 8 for the pivotable lever 16, the end of which carries the hook 17. On the bearing axis 8, a coil spring 27 is arranged, one end of which engages under the pivot lever 16 and the other end of which is supported on the tensioning lever 2. The pivot lever 16 has a nose-shaped actuator 28 which can be pressed down against the force of the spring 27, so that the hook 17 reaches the position shown in FIG. 2. By the force of the spring 27, the pivotable lever 16 is automatically pivoted back in the direction of arrow 29 into contact with the tensioning lever 2. The tensioning buckle 2 has, as can be seen from FIG. 3, a recess 30 on its outside, through which the Nose-shaped actuator 78 protrudes. With 31 and 32 profiles on the outside of the tension buckle 2 and the nose-shaped actuator 28 are indicated, which facilitate handling and operation.

The clamping lever is again designated 2. On the outside of the tensioning lever 2, the nose-shaped actuating member 28 of the pivotable lever protrudes again, the hook again being denoted by 17. A bracket 33 acts on the tensioning lever, which replaces the tension member 9. The bracket 33 can be inserted in various positions in a tooth plate 34, which is fixed to the part of a slot opposite the bearing point of the tensioning lever 2. In this embodiment, the slot is formed with overlapping edges, the part on which the tensioning lever is fixed is again designated by 3, and the edge of the slot facing away from this part 3 is designated by 35. The clamping lever 2 is in turn pivotable about the axis 6 and the hook-shaped end part of the pivotable lever 16 is brought into engagement with a recess 22 of the further tension member 20 by depressing the nose-shaped actuating member. The definition of the further tension member 20 was not shown in this illustration for the sake of clarity. The distance of the opening 22 from the hook 17 has also been increased for reasons of clarity. To actuate the tension member 20, the recess 22 must of course lie below the hook-shaped end region 17 of the pivot lever 16 when the tensioning lever 2 is opened.
