Abstract
Description
- La présente invention concerne une structure textile enduite décorée telle que par exemple une nappe présentant un aspect décoratif amélioré ainsi qu'un procédé pour réaliser une telle structure.
- Il est bien connu de réaliser des structures textiles enduites décorées telles que des nappes comprenant un support textile et une pellicule de matière plastique sur laquelle on applique ensuite un motif décoratif par impression. Ces produits présentent l'aspect d'une toile cirée et, en général, le motif décoratif n'apparaît pas sur la face non enduite de la structure.
- Il est également connu de réaliser des structures textiles enduites décorées comprenant un support textile sur lequel on imprime un motif décoratif, la face décorée étant ensuite doublée par une pellicule thermoplastique transparente. Ces structures présentent le même décor imprimé recto-verso, le décor sur la face non enduite étant généralement moins attractif.
- La présente invention vise à procurer une structure textile enduite décorée telle que par exemple une nappe présentant sur la face enduite un aspect textile imprimé et sur la face non enduite un aspect décoratif brodé et attrayant.
- La structure textile enduite décorée selon l'invention comprend un support textile souple, un motif décoratif coloré et une pellicule transparente recouvrant le support et le motif décoratif dans lequel le motif décoratif est constitué d'un adhésif de flocage coloré et d'un floc textile qui déborde le support textile sur sa face non recouverte de la pellicule transparente.
- Le support textile peut être un textile tissé, un textile tricoté ou un textile non tissé de fibres naturelles et/ou synthétiques. Afin de conférer une bonne souplesse à la structure textile finale, on préfère généralement utiliser un support textile dont le grammage est compris entre 50 et 500 g/m2 et, de préférence entre 100 et 400 g/M 2.
- L'adhésif de flocage constituant le motif décoratif, peut être tout adhésif de flocage classique de viscosité adaptée de façon à permettre son dépôt sur le support textile selon un motif décoratif.
- Cet adhésif de flocage peut notamment être à base d'une résine vinylique telle qu'un copolymère de chlorure de vinyle avec de l'acétate de vinyle, de l'acide maléique et/ou du nitrile acrylique, d'une résine acrylique telle qu'un copolymère d'ester acrylique et d'amide acrylique ou d'une résine de polyester hydroxylée réticulée par un isocyanate.
- L'adhésif de flocage peut être pigmenté en des teintes différentes afin de permettre la réalisation de motifs décoratifs multicolores.
- Le floc textile utilisé dans la structure textile selon l'invention présente une longueur de fibres variant entre 0,2 et 2 mm et, de préférence entre 0,5 et 1,5 mm, des longueurs de fibres plus élevées pouvant toutefois être envisagées.
- Le floc textile est constitué par des fibres quelconques, les fibres de nylon ou de viscose broyées ou coupées étant préférées.
- Le floc textile peut être incolore ou être coloré, sa couleur étant de préférence identique à celle de l'adhésif de flocage lorsque le motif décoratif est réalisé en une seule couleur.
- La pellicule transparente est avantageuement constituée à partir d'une résine vinylique et notamment à partir de polychlorure de vinyle plastifié, d'autres résines transparentes pouvant toutefois être envisagées. L'épaisseur de cette pellicule peut varier entre 0,070 et 1 mm et, de préférence, entre 0,150 et 0,5 mm.
- La présente invention concerne également un procédé pour réaliser une structure textile enduite décorée telle que décrite ci-avant.
- Selon ce procédé on applique sur une face d'un support textile souple un motif décoratif constitué par un adhésif de flocage coloré, on recouvre le motif décoratif par flocage au moyen d'un floc textile, on recouvre le support textile et le motif décoratif d'une pellicule transparente en matière thermoplastique et on solidarise le support textile et la pellicule transparente par pressage.
- On peut appliquer le motif décoratif sur le support textile par tout moyen d'impression tel que notamment la flexographie, la sérigraphie, l'héliographie, etc, la méthode dite au cadre rotatif étant préférée.
- Ainsi, qu'il a été précisé le motif décoratif peut être unicolore ou multicolore et dans ce dernier cas, selon les techniques usuelles, il est réalisé par des impressions successives.
- Le motif décoratif déposé est ensuite recouvert en tout ou en partie par flocage au moyen d'un floc textile, ce recouvrement pouvant être réalisé par flocage mécanique ou électrostatique. Dans le cas où on réalise un motif décoratif par des impressions successives on peut prévoir des recouvrements successifs par flocage entre les impressions, les flocs utilisés pour chaque recouvrement pouvant être incolores ou colorés différemment.
- Le support textile et le motif décoratif floqué sont ensuite recouverts par une pellicule transparente en matière thermoplastique qui est solidarisée par pressage.
- Cette dernière opération à savoir le pressage de la pellicule transparente sur le support textile décoré entraîne le passage du floc textile au travers du support textile et du motif décoratif et son débordement de la face du support textile non recouverte de la pellicule transparente avec pour conséquence l'apparition sur cette face du motif décoratif sous un aspect brodé en relief.
- Il a en outre été constaté que cet effet particulier peut être renforcé lorsque le pressage de la pellicule transparente sur le support textile décoré est effectué entre une surface dure et une surface élastique, la surface dure étant appliquée sur la pellicule transparente.
- Ainsi, des résultats remarquables ont été obtenus en réalisant ce pressage par passage de la structure entre un cylindre métallique disposé du côté de la pellicule transparente et une contrepartie en caoutchouc de dureté Shore comprise entre 30 et 100.
- Le pressage est en général réalisé à chaud à une température de 70 à 180°C et de préférence de 100 à 180°C, la pellicule transparente pouvant être préchauffée.
- Afin d'améliorer la solidarisation entre la pellicule transparente et le support textile décoré, la pellicule peut être revêtue d'une couche d'adhérence transparente telle que par exemple une couche de plastisol vinylique avant son application sur le support textile.
- La structure textile enduite décorée conforme à l'invention et son mode de réalisation sont par ailleurs illustrés plus en détail dans l'exemple de réalisation pratique qui va suivre et dans la description duquel on se référera aux figures des dessins annexés dans lesquels :
- la fig.1 montre en coupe une structure textile enduite décorée avant l'application de la pellicule transparente
- la fig.2 montre en coupe une structure textile enduite décorée conforme à l'invention
- la fig.3 donne une vue schématique d'un appareillage utilisable pour réaliser une structure textile enduite décorée conforme à la fig.2.
- Pour réaliser une structure textile enduite décorée conforme à l'invention, on a utilisé un textile tissé de coton ayant un grammage de 120 g/m2 et contenant 24 fils au centimètre en chaîne et 20 fils au centimètre en trame, les fils de chaînes ayant un numéro métrique de 40 et les fils de trame un numéro métrique de 34.
- Ce support textile 1, déroulé d'une bobine 2, est d'abord imprimé selon un motif décoratif 3 au moyen d'un adhésif de flocage appliqué dans l'installation d'impression à cadre rotatif 4. Comme adhésif de flocage, on a utilisé une composition pigmentée à base de polyester hydroxylé réticulable.
- Le motif décoratif déposé est ensuite revêtu par flocage dans le dispositif de flocage électrostatique 5 en utilisant comme matériau de flocage un floc 6 incolore constitué de fibres de nylon d'une longueur de 1 mm.
- Après cette opération, le support textile tel que représenté à la fig.l est directement recouvert sur sa face décorée par une pellicule transparente 7 de polychlorure de vinyle plastifiée à 70 pcr préalablement enduite d'un plastisol de polychlorure de vinyle, l'association entre le support textile étant obtenu par pressage entre un cylindre métallique 8 et une contrepartie 9 en caoutchouc de dureté Shore égale à 50, le pressage étant effectué à une température de 170°C.
- Après cette opération, on récolte, sur la bobine 10, une structure textile enduite décorée comme représentée en coupe à la fig.2. On constate que le floc 6 qui recouvrait le motif décoratif 3 (fig.l), sous l'effet de la pression exercée lors de l'application de la pellicule transparente 7 a traversé le motif décoratif 3 et le support textile 1 de façon à déborder la face du support textile non recouverte de la pellicule transparente.
- Il en résulte que le produit ainsi obtenu examiné par sa face enduite présente l'aspect connu d'un textile enduit imprimé tandis que ce même produit examiné par sa face non enduite présente un aspect décoratif brodé.
- Cette structure convient particulièrement pour la confection de nappes dont la face enduite résiste aux salissures durant les repas ou lors de travaux salissant et dont la face non enduite d'aspect brodé et plus attrayant, peut être rendue apparente pour donner une présentation plus riche.
