Abstract

Pairs of tights are transferred one pair at a time from a knitting machine to another machine, firstly by drawing the feet into two suction tubes axially in line so that they are stretched apart. As they are released from the discharge elements of the knitting machine, two arms are rotated so that they are swung together to fit into an opening left between the seams so that they can be passed to a transfer device. The two arms, which are triangular, have their tips bent over, and when swing open again, stretch the opening so that it fits over a ring of pins on the transfer device. These pins are expanded, and the two arms are rotated axially for disengagement, after which they can be swung apart again.

Précédemment et jusqu'à l'introduction des fourchons du dit organe de prise dans la dite overture du vêtement et dans le but de permettre aux dits fourchons d'accéder à la dite overture, la machine faisant l'objet du dit brevet prévoit d'aspirer les jambes du vêtement en deux tuyaux verticaux séparés, mais alignés lorsque le corps du vêtement est initialement retenu sur la machine qui produit les collants et même lorsqu il en est sorti.   • - deux bras (101) égaux et orientés symétriquement par rapport au tuyau (32) d'aspiration d'une jambe (30) du vêtement (1), articulés à équerre, dans un meme plan vertical, sur deux arbres (102) horizontaux et ayant en outre la possibilité de tourner, avec des moyens connus, sur eux-meme et en sens contraire; à l'extrémité libre des dits bras (101) est fixée une branche (103) substantiellement trian gulaire, lamineuse et pliée à équerre dont la pointe est destinée à s'introduire dans l'ouverture (2) du vêtement (1). Les pointes des branches (103) sont disposées d'une telle façon que par rapport à la rotation des dits bras (101) sur eux-memes elles résultent tournées ou du même coté (comme illustré dans la Fig.1) ou une contre l'autre (comme dans la Fig.3).
  • - Deux arbres (102) horizontaux rangés flan à flanc tournant en sens contraire, asservis, avec de moyens connus, à un cylindre pneumatique (104) à course fractionnée, intermittente, de sorte que les dites branches (103) effectuent une excursion ango- laire, égale, intermittente, en sens contraire, dans le deuxième et troisième cadran, respectivement, et de sorte qu'au début, c'est à dire au PMI, les pointes des deux branches (103) résultent très rapprochées et opposées; une première fraction de la dite excursion est destiné à pré-écarter le bord de l'ouverture (2) du vêtement et une deuxième fraction est: destinée à éloigner les branches (103) après avoir quitte le vetement (1) à la suite de leur rotation horizontale.
  • - Un chariot (105) portant le dit cylindre (104) avec les arbres relatifs (102), mobile en sens alternatif sur une sur une voie(106)horizontale, dominant la station de sortie de la machine (3) qui produit les collants et parallèle à l'axe xx du moyen de prise (9): le dit chariot(105) est asservi au chariot (34) de la machine qui transfère les collants et commence la course d'aller en retard par rapport à celui (34) pour permettre aux pointes des branches (103) de s'introduire surement dans l'ouverture (2) et successivement de suivre le mouvement du vêtement dans son approche au dit moyen de prise (9) et, pendant la course de retour, de se reporter dans la position initiale.
  • - Moyens connus de commande des movements des bras (101) et du chariot (105) dont le consentement est dérivé d'une came (pour simplification pas représentée dans le dessin) de la machiné qui opère le transfert des collants d'une telle façon que les dites branches (103) se trouvent au PMI et dans la position serrée (comme représenté dans la Fig.2) lorsque le moyen de prise (9) est orienté avec son propre axe xx horizontal et dans la position en face de la sortie de la machine (3) qui produit les collants et succesivement, pendant la course d'aller du chariot (105), s'écartent partiellement après avoir été abordées par le vêtement (1) à travers son ouverture (2) (comme dans la Fig.4); ensui te tournent vers l'extérieur du vêtement (1) pour poser se dernier sur les fourchons (19) du moyen de prise (9) (comme dans la Fig.5) et enfin s'écartent au maximum (comme dans la Fig.7) pour permettre de dépasser le vêtement (1) pendant la course de retour du chariot(105) et en même temps permettre le passage du carrousel de la machine (3) qui produit les collants; à la fin de la dite course de retour les mouvements susdits des branches (103) se répètent en ordre inverse pour leur permettre de repren dre la position initiale de Fig.2.
