Description

The invention relates to a screen covering with exchangeable screen elements fastened next to one another, which are fastened to a load-bearing substructure, a lower profile being fastened to the load-bearing substructure in the region in which two adjacent screen elements adjoin one another, which profile defines the edges of at least two adjoining screen elements engages under, a second, upper profile is detachably fastened above this profile, and a sieve element is held clampingly between the lower and upper profile on both sides.

Interchangeable sieve elements made of plastic, in particular polyurethane, are known for sieve trays, which have grooves on the underside near the long sides in order to push the sieve elements with their grooves over metal rails, the upper region of each metal rail engaging in the groove. Should a part of the sieve bottom be equipped with metal sieve meshes or grids permanently or temporarily instead of plastic sieve elements, it is known to screw plastic strips onto the metal rails so that the metal sieves are pressed onto the metal rails. For this purpose, holes for the screws must be drilled in the metal sieve and in the metal rail. Alternatively, it is known to fasten plastic strips to the metal rails for fastening pressure welding grids and to provide these plastic strips with horizontal bores in order to insert the ends of the pressure welding grids therein. Both types of fastening are time-consuming and labor-intensive to assemble and require a special adjustment for each metal sieve. Changing the metal sieve types requires considerable effort.

From SU-A 865 423 it is known to hold sieve elements between two strips which are screwed together. This leads not only to a high assembly effort, but also to the fact that the above bolts and nuts can wear out as well as get stuck, making subsequent loosening difficult for replacement.

The object of the invention is to improve a screen covering of the type mentioned in such a way that screen elements of different thicknesses can be fastened and changed without any adjustment work and thereby find a secure hold.

This object is achieved in that the sieve elements are in one piece and plate-shaped, that both profiles are made of plastic, that on one of the two profiles a protruding bar is integrally formed, which rests releasably in a groove-shaped recess of the other profile, and that the upper profile is held by a latching connection on the lower profile, at least one side surface of each bar having teeth which engage in corresponding tooth-shaped recesses in at least one wall of the groove-shaped recess of the other profile.

Not only when the strip is fully inserted into the groove, a secure hold of the upper profile is created, but also with partial insertion, so that different distances of the profiles from one another can be achieved with secure fastening, and thus sieve elements of various thicknesses can be fastened. This method of attachment allows a simple and quick installation of a wide variety of screens, whereby after using a screen, such. B. a wire mesh, another sieve, such as. B. a pressure welding grid or plastic screen can be securely attached without adjustment work. Furthermore, a plastic element can be attached instead of a metal sieve element at any time with the least amount of work. In addition, this construction offers reliable protection of the metal rails against wear, small external dimensions and low weight. The lower and upper profile also form the edge of a sieve element, so that when the sieve elements are replaced, only the surfaces causing the sieving and not the edges of the sieve element are replaced. This is a considerable saving in material. The teaching according to the invention means a separation of holding elements and sieve-effective parts of a sieve element.

From EP-A 59 058 it is known per se to attach wall elements between two profiles which have sawtooth-shaped projections. However, these projections are not used to achieve different locking positions in order to hold wall elements of different thickness.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are listed in the subclaims.

  • Fig. 1 einen senkrechten Schnitt durch ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel;
  • Fig. 2 einen senkrechten Schnitt durch ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel;

Three embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings and are described in more detail below. Show it:
  • Figure 1 is a vertical section through a first embodiment.
  • Figure 2 is a vertical section through a second embodiment.
  • Fig. 3 is a plan view of a screen element according to the second embodiment and
  • Fig. 4 is a vertical section through a third embodiment.

The two legs of an upwardly open U-profile 1 form a first and second metal rail 1a, 1b, the upper leg ends of which are bent inwards and have a gap 1c between them. A first, lower profile 2 made of plastic, in particular polyurethane, is fastened on the profile 1 and has on its underside two longitudinal grooves 3, 4, in which the upper ends of the rails 1 a, 1 b lie in a snap-in manner.

In the top of the profile 2 is one in the middle Longitudinal groove 5 is introduced, the two parallel and sawtooth-shaped recesses 6, the side walls of which are usually vertical in the fastening in a screening machine, the steeper flanks facing the groove bottom. In this groove 5 there is a snap-in strip 7, which is molded onto the underside of a second, upper profile 8 made of plastic, in particular polyurethane. The strip 7 has the same width as the groove 5 and has complementarily shaped sawtooth-shaped elevations 9. Because on each side wall or side surface of the projection 7 and the recess 5 two or more, in particular four to seven, teeth over the entire length of the strip or groove are provided, a secure hold of the upper profile 8 is created not only when the strip 7 is fully inserted into the groove 5, but also when it is partially inserted, so that different distances of the profiles 2, 8 from one another can be achieved with secure fastening. Just when two teeth of the bar 7 engage on each side in the groove 5, a very high expenditure of force in the direction of the arrow A is required in order to detach the profile 8 from the profile 2.

On both sides of the profiles 2, 8, these each form a gap 10, 11, the lower side wall 10a, 11 of the columns from the lateral top of the lower profile 2 and the upper side walls 10b, 11b from the lateral undersides of the upper profile 8 are formed. On the side walls 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b protrusions (longitudinal ribs, lips) 12, 13 protruding into the gaps (grooves) 10, 11 and parallel to the profiles 2, 8 are formed, the cross-section of which increases with the distance from the respective side wall is tapered and preferably tooth-shaped, in particular sawtooth-shaped. The tooth-shaped elevations 12 of the side walls 10a, 11 are flush with one side with the side walls of the lower profile 2 and are made smaller in cross-section than the elevations 13 on the upper profile 8. The elevations 12, 13 are flexible due to the limited resilient plastic material.

Metal sieve elements, in particular wire mesh or pressure welding grids 14, 15, which lie in the two gaps 10, 11, are grasped by the side walls of the gaps 10, 11, in particular by the elevations 12, 13, these elevations yielding to a limited extent in the area of the sieve wires and / or sieve profiles and partially deform outwards. Depending on the thickness of the parts of the metal grid, the projection 7 of the profile 8 can be inserted more or less deeply into the profile 2. The upper profile 8 has, in particular in the region of the elevation 13, a greater width than that of the lower profile 2, so that the profiles 1 and 2 and in particular the regions of the sieve elements lying in the columns 10, 11 and also the columns 10, 11 in front of the Screenings are safely protected.

The embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 differs from that of FIG. 1 in that instead of a metal sieve element, a plastic sieve element 14a is used, which is less at the edges that are clamped between the profiles 2, 8 Has thickness or strength. These edge strips 16, which are integrally formed on at least two opposite sides, in particular the long sides, can be lower with their upper side than the screen-effective surface of the element, so that a vertical side edge 8a of the upper profile 8 lies sealingly against a lateral end face of the element 14a . The edge strips 16 have transversely to the longitudinal extent at regular intervals elevations or ribs 17, which can also be arranged on the undersides of the edge strips as elevations or ribs 18 and are detected by the elevations 12 and 13 and thus the sieve element in the direction of Give the edge strip an additional hold.

The embodiment according to FIG. 4 differs from the previous one in that the lower profile 2 is held solely by pins 18 in openings in the substructure, in particular in bores of a profile, not shown.
