Description

The invention relates to a screen covering with screen elements arranged side by side, which are interchangeably fastened to a supporting substructure by additional plastic profiles, the profiles holding two lateral edges of adjacent screen elements and having projections on their underside which are latched to the substructure, the screen elements being Completely cover the profiles at the top.

Such a screen covering is known from WO-A-8 402 290. This known construction leads to a large height of the sieve bottom and does not allow easy assembly and disassembly. Furthermore, it is known from the German design specification 27 36 662 to arrange the plastic profiles holding the sieve elements with their upper side at the level of the upper side of the sieve elements, so that the profiles are exposed to the material to be sieved and thus the plastic of the profiles not only ensure the retention of the sieve elements must, but must also be selected for low wear. In addition, these profiles require protruding reinforcement parts of the sieve elements in order to be able to attach the sieve elements to the substructure through the profiles.

Furthermore, it is known from German Offenlegungsschrift 24 37 809 to form projections on the underside of sieve elements, which snap into openings in the substructure. The shaping of such projections is complex since they have to protrude beyond the underside of the screen elements and thus increase the overall height of the screen elements.

The object of the invention is to improve a screen covering of the type mentioned in such a way that, with a particularly secure hold, simple assembly and disassembly and with a low overall height of the screen bottom, the intermediate element - profile - is not exposed to wear and the screen elements during manufacture are simple.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the screen elements are fastened in a form-locking manner with a lower, recessed area of their end faces to the profiles.

Such a construction leads to a particularly secure hold, to simple assembly and disassembly and to a low overall height of the sieve plate. The screen elements alone are exposed to the screenings. The sieve elements are protective over the profiles that are used to attach the sieve elements to the substructure. The material of the profiles can thus be aligned solely with the holding function, so that a compromise between a material for an optimal holding function and optimally low wear need not be sought.

There is always only a single intermediate element between two screen elements, so that the number of profiles can be small. In the area of the profiles, these form several projections and recesses with the end faces of the screen elements, so that a multiple labyrinth of high density is created. The profiles are particularly easy to manufacture so that they can be created by continuous casting or segmental injection molding.

Profiles and sieve elements are particularly easy to assemble, especially since there is no need to ensure that they fit perfectly into individual openings in the substructure. Disassembly is also particularly easy to do. The large contact surfaces of the profiles on the substructure and on the sieve elements reliably prevent longitudinal displacement of the sieve elements and the profiles.

It is particularly advantageous that the fastening elements do not form any projections over the upper sieve surface, since in the area of the profiles the upper side of the sieve elements runs continuously without recesses and / or elevations.

The fact that the screen elements with a lower, recessed area of the end faces are positively fastened to the profiles not only leads to a particularly secure hold and simple assembly and disassembly, but also to a low overall height of the screen base. For this purpose, it is also proposed that the profile laterally have at least one projection, in particular at least one tooth, which lies in a correspondingly shaped recess on the end face of the screen elements.

Furthermore, the projections and recesses can be shaped such that a greater force can be transmitted to the profile in the pulling direction of the sieve element upwards than in the downward pressure direction. This creates a particularly secure hold, with assembly and disassembly being even easier. The projections and recesses can be sawtooth-shaped, the steeper flanks of the projections of the profile facing the upper side of the sieve elements. It is also proposed that the projections and recesses run over the entire length of the profile and two side edges of the screen element.

It is particularly advantageous if the front edges of two adjacent screen elements lie close together above the profile.

In order to protect the substructure from wear by the screenings, as well as to prevent ingress of screenings between the profile and the screen element and between the profile and the substructure, it is proposed that in an intermediate space between the underside of the screen elements and the top of the Substructure on the profile projects a bar (lip) approximately horizontally on both sides, which covers the top of the substructure. Furthermore, the free end of the bar can be angled downward in an approximately L-shaped manner and, with this area, protectively overlap the upper part of the side wall of the profile of the substructure to which the plastic profile is held. The top of the bar can also protrude upwards on the outer edge Form a lip that rests tightly on the underside of the sieve element when the strip is under tension.

An alternative method of fastening between screen elements and intermediate elements is achieved if the profiles have two recesses on the top, in particular two grooves running along the profile, and that a recess or groove has a correspondingly shaped projection on the underside of a screen element and into the other recess or groove, a correspondingly shaped projection engages on the underside of the adjacent screen element. Here, the outer vertical side wall of the groove can be aligned with the free, angled down end of the strip. It is also proposed that the profile has two longitudinal parallel grooves on the underside into which two free legs of the substructure engage.

A further simplification of the construction and a reduction of the individual parts is achieved in that the profile is formed by a laterally protruding area of the adjacent sieve element, in particular a sieve element located at the edge of the sieve covering. Here, the profile can be formed from a laterally protruding area of a lateral edge part of the sieve plate, so that a secure and tight edge closure of the sieve plate is achieved.

Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings in vertical sections and are described in more detail below. Show it:
  • 1 shows a section through a sieve plate with a sawtooth-shaped fastening method.
  • FIG. 2 shows a detail from FIG. 1 with molded lips on laterally projecting strips of the intermediate elements;
  • 3 shows an intermediate element or a strip with only one projecting tooth instead of a fastening with several teeth;
  • 4 shows an intermediate element or bar, each with two upper and lower grooves;
  • 5 shows a strip which is molded onto an intermediate element; and
  • Fig. 6 is a bar which is molded onto a vertical side element.

A sieve tray 1 is composed of individual rectangular sieve elements 2, the length of which is at least twice as large as the width. The sieve elements extend between the two vertical side walls 3 of a sieving machine and consist of plastic.

On the long sides of the screen elements 2, the end faces 4 of two adjacent screen elements lie close together in the upper region. In the area underneath, the end faces 4 jump back to form recesses 5. The recessed areas 5 of two adjacent screen elements 2 form a space below the abutting end faces 4 in which the upper area of a plastic profile 6 lies. The profile 6 extends over the entire length of the longer sides of the sieve elements 2 and forms projections or teeth 7 in the upper region, which engage in a form-fitting manner in correspondingly shaped recesses 8 in the recessed regions 5.

In order to be able to fasten the sieve elements 2 easily, but to ensure that they cannot be loosened easily upwards, the flanks 9 of the teeth 7, which are steeper to the horizontal, face upwards. The upper area of the profile 6 corresponds in size to the space formed by the area 5 between two adjacent screen elements 2. Below this, the profile 6 forms two strips 10 projecting on both sides, which are arranged horizontally and with their upper side on the underside 11 of the screen elements 2 issue. The longitudinal strips 10 lie with their underside on a U-shaped steel profile 12, the upwardly facing legs of which are bent inwards and thus form a gap-shaped opening 13 at the top, into which a strip-shaped projection 14 of the profile 6 extends. In order to allow the projection 14 to hold in place, in the inserted position at the height of the opening 13 it is approximately the width of the opening and below it has a larger cross section.

The profile 6 has no influence on the shape of the top 16 of the screen elements 2, so that the top 16 can be flat. The openings in the sieve elements 2 for the material to be sieved are not shown.

The horizontal strips 10 can be bent downwards at right angles at their free ends and thus partially encompass the outer sides of the U-profiles 12. The strips 10 are thus L-shaped in cross section. In an alternative embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the free ends of the strips 10 have upwardly directed lips 17 which extend along the profile 6 and press against the underside of the sieve elements 2.

The exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 differs in that the upper region of the profile 6 does not have a plurality of longitudinally extending horizontal teeth as in FIG. 1, but only a single tooth-shaped projection 7a on each side, each of which is in a corresponding recess 8a the face of the screen element. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4, the profiles have two longitudinal grooves 18 on the upper side, into which strip-shaped projections 19 protrude, which are formed on the undersides 11 of the sieve elements 2. Furthermore, lip-shaped profiles can also protrude further on the undersides 11, which surround the profile 6 on the outside. The area of the profile 6 which remains between the two grooves 18 and which projects upwards lies, like the upper area of the profile 6 in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, in recessed areas 5 of the end faces of the screen elements. The profile 6 according to FIG. 4 thus has parallel parallel grooves 20 on the underside 2 into which the two free legs of the U-profile 12 protrude.

According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the profile 6 can also be formed on the long side of a sieve element, so that sawtooth-shaped projections are only required on one side of the profile. This embodiment is also particularly suitable for fastening sieve elements in the edge region of a sieve bottom. This is shown on the left in FIG. 1. The free edge of the screen element 2a is clamped between a lower L-shaped profile 21 made of steel and an upper plastic strip 22. Instead, however, a conventional sieve element 2 can also be attached to the edge of the sieve bottom, as is shown on the right-hand side of FIG. 1. For this purpose, half a profile 6 is pushed into a half profile 12 in a latching manner.

A further alternative method of fastening the sieve elements in the edge region is shown in FIG. 6. A side plastic profile 23 of greater height than width has in the lower region a half-molded profile 6 on which a conventional sieve element 2 is held in the same manner as in FIG. 1 is shown on the right. This reduces the number of parts to be assembled and reliably protects the side wall of the screening machine.
