- a projectile of this type intended to be fired by a rifle with a rifled barrel, is known from patent GB-A-6785 in which a projectile is described which comprises, as indicated in the preamble of claim 1, a rear body made of a material capable of cooperating with the scratches of the barrel and a central core made of material different from that constituting said rear body.
