Während der Bewegung des Stempels sind die Einfülltüre 5 und auch die Schiebetüre 4 der Austragsöffnung 21 verschlossen gehalten. Wird nach einer Neubefüllung mit Müll beim Zusammenpressen der am Überdruckschalter eingestellte Pressdruck erreicht, so sorgt dieser dafür, dass der Pressstempel 10 entweder in der von ihm erreichten Endposition, bepsielsweise EP, gehalten wird und erst nach Auswerfen des Mülls oder aber gleich wieder in seine Ausgangsposition AP zurückkehrt. Die Türe 4 der Austragsöffnung 21 wird mittels dem vom Elektromotor 12 über eine Transmission 14 angetriebenen Schneckentrieb 15, 16 betätigt. Der sich im Bereich 1b befindliche Müllpressling 40 beginnt infolge des Nachlassens des Pressdruckes zu re-expandieren und wird durch die Wirkung der zur Öffnung 21 hin divergierenden Wandungsteile 2b des Bereiches 1 b nach unten in den an der Schubladenauszugseinrichtung mit am Pressengehäuse angeordneter Tragschiene 7 sowie darin geführtem Rahmen 8 mit Klemmrahmen 9 befestigten Müllsack 6 ausgestossen. Üblicherweise weist die Presskammer 1 ein, beispielsweise aus Profilen gebildetes oder, wie gezeigt, integriertes Gestell 41 oder Standbeine auf, welches bzw. welche eine das problemlose ein- und Ausbringen der mit dem Müllpressling 40 gefüllten Umhüllung 6 ermöglichende Höhe aufweist bzw. aufweisen. Die Betätigung der Schiebetüre 4, welche die Austragsöffnung 21 mit einem Querschnitt verschliesst bzw. freigibt, welcher zumindest dem Querschnitt des «weitesten Bereiches des Bereiches 1 b entspricht, kann beispielsweise auch mit einem Kurbeltrieb oder dgl. händisch erfolgen. Anstelle eines Elektro-Hydraulik- oder Pneumatik-Antriebes für die Bewegung des Pressstempels 10 kann auch ein von einem Elektromotor betriebener Schnecken-, Spindel- oder Zahntrieb vorgesehen sein. Auch Kniehebel, elektrische Linearmotoren oder stationäre Verbrennungskraftmaschinen können für den Antrieb dienen. Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform kann der Hydraulik- oder Pneumatikantrieb für den Stempel 10, und gegebenenfalls auch für die Türen 4 und/oder 5, direkt an ein bestehendes Wasserleitungssystem oder Druckgassystem angeschlossen sein, so dass die Anordnung eines eigenen Motors mit Pumpe an der Müllpresse für die Erzeugung des Druckes im Druckmedium entfallen kann. Im oberen Teil des Bereiches 1a ist ausserhalb des Aktivitätsbereiches des Pressstempels 10 eine Öffnung 25 für den Anschluss einer Lüftungs- und Absaugleitung 26 angeordnet; angedeutet sind ferner in der Türe 4 befindliche Öffnungen 29, die zum Abfliessen von beim Pressen feuchten oder nassen Mülls freigesetzter Flüssigkeit dienen. Diese kann direkt oder erst nach Ableitung über Ableitbleche und Sammlung über, gegebenenfalls flexible, Abführleitungen in ein bestehendes Abwasser- bzw. Kanalnetz eingebracht werden. Aus dieser Figur ist auch die Form der schwenkbaren Einfülltüre 5 mit seitlich begrenzenden Wangen 5a ersichtlich. Weiters zeigt sie die schubladenartige, in der Führung 7 geführte Einrichtung 8, 9 für die Befestigung des den Müllpressling aufnehmenden Umhüllungs- bzw. Verpackungsmateriales, z.B. Sakkes 6, in ausgezogener Stellung. Der Auszug wird üblicherweise handbetätigt. Der hier gezeigte Schubladenauszug kann ohne weiteres, beispielsweise durch einen mit Halterung für den Müllbehälter versehenen, rollengelagerten Wagen, der unter die Austragsöffnung 21 geschoben wird, ersetzt sein. Claims (13)

1. A refuse crusher with a crushing ram (10) upwardly and downwardly displaceable in a crushing chamber (1), with a laterally disposed filling opening (20) closable by a door (5), and with a discharge opening (21) provided on the floor of the crushing chamber and a closure member (4) associated with this opening, wherein the crushing ram, which is substantially displaceable in a crushing chamber region (1a) with walls whose generatrices extend parallel to one another, in its upper position substantially releases the filling opening (20), a device (8, 9) for receiving a packing container (6) being provided preferably below the discharge opening (21), characterised in that a further region (1 b) with wall parts (2b) diverging towards the discharge opening (21) is joined to the region (1 a) with the parallel generatrices and that the closure member is designed as a sliding door (4) arranged substantially parallel to the crushing pressure contact surface of the ram (10).
2. A refuse crusher according to claim 1, characterised in that the first-mentioned region (1 a) of the crushing chamber (1) has a rectangular or -square cross-section and the further region (1 b) has at least two, preferably three, wall elements (2b) adjacent one another, which with respect to the discharge opening-(21) have an opening angle a of 2 to 45°, more particularly 5 to 30°.
3. A refuse crusher according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the sliding door (4) of the discharge opening (21) is actuatable by means of rack and pinion or worm gearing (15, 16) and is optionally designed so as to separate.
4. A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the feed opening (20) extends at most to the transition (1c) from the first-mentioned region (1a) to the further region (1 b) of the crushing chamber (1).

A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the drive for the crushing ram (10), more particularly a hydraulic or pneumatic drive, has an excess pressure switch, more particularly an excess pressure valve, which interrupts the movement of the ram (10) when a preset crushing pressure on the refuse is reached.
6. A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that when the crushed refuse in the further region (1b) drops below a predetermined level the ram (10) is returned to its start position (AP) and the feed opening (20) is opened for further filling.
7. A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the crushing ram (10) has a start position (AP) for the crushing process, which corresponds substantially to the upper edge (5b) of the feed opening (20).

A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the crushing ram (10) has an end position (EP) for the crushing process, which lies in the rear region of the transition (1 c) from the first-mentioned region (1a) to the further region (1b) of the crushing chamber (1).
9. A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that in the first-mentioned region (1 a) of the crushing chamber (1), optionally outside the operating range of the ram (10), at least one opening (25) is provided for the connection of an outlet or suction line.
10. A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that in the wall (2b) of the further area (1 b), and optionally in the door (4) of the discharge opening (21), at least one opening is disposed for supplying a sterilising medium, more particularly steam.
11. A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that in the sliding door (4) of the discharge opening (21), and optionally in the wall (2b) of the further region (1b), outlet openings (29) are disposed, which optionally discharge into liquid drain lines.
12. A refuse crusher according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that, below the interspaces or impact points between the walls (2b) delimiting the discharge opening (21) and the sliding door (4) and below the drain openings (29), optionally in the walls (2b) and/or in the sliding door, draining plates (18) or draining channels for liquids are arranged, which optionally discharge into liquid drain lines.
