Zum Schwenken ist einfüllseitig, unterhalb der Bodenplatte eine Achse angeordnet und zudem an der Oberkante des Rohres ein Griff vorgesehen. Um das Rohr nach vorn in Einfüllstellung zu bringen, muss der Bediener, nach dem Sackkarrenprinzip und mit erheblicher Kraftanstrengung in der Anfangsphase des Schwenkens, das Rohr nach vorn ziehen. Erst in einer späten Schwenkphase wirken die Hebelgesetze der Physik und das Herausschwenken wird leichter.
Das totale Abkippen des Rohres nach vorn wird verhindert, indem die hintere, obere Kante des Rohres an der Presstempelführung der Vorrichtung anschlägt.

In der Figur 1 ist die neue Ballenpresse 1 in Frontalansicht gezeigt. Die Ballenpresse 1 besteht aus einem Pressenrahmen 2, der zwei seitliche, einander zugewandte Portalsäulen 4, eine zwischen letzteren 4 in dessen Kopfbereich horizontal angeordnete Brücke 3, im Fußbereich eine Traverse 9 und oberhalb von letzterer 9 eine horizontal angeordnete Achse 10 aufweist.
Auf, in und oberhalb der Brücke 3 befinden sich ein Antrieb 47, ein elektro-hydraulisch betätigter Hubzylinder 48 sowie hier nicht weiter dargestellte Steuerungs- und Signaleinrichtungen. Ein Startschalter 52 und ein Stopschalter (Nothalt) 53 sind vorzugsweise an einer Frontplatte 5 angeordnet.
Im Fußbereich der Portalsäulen 4 ist jeweils ein Fußteil 6 vorgesehen, welches an einem Ende ein Rad 7 und am anderen Ende ein Justierelement 8 aufweist, wie in Figur 1b gezeigt.
Zwischen den Portalsäulen 4 und oberhalb der horizontalen Achse 10 ist ein Presskasten 11 angeordnet, der hier über zwei unterhalb am Presskasten 11 angeordnete Stege 23, die jeweils ein Lager 24 aufweisen, wobei die lager 24 die Achse 10 umgreifen, kippbar gehaltert ist.
Aus den Figuren 1a und 1b ist zudem zu sehen, dass der Presskasten 11 aus einem Boden 12, einer Rückwand 13, zwei Seitenwänden 14 und 15 sowie einer Stirnwand 16, die zusammen einen nach oben offenen Pressraum bilden, besteht. In der Stirnwand 16 ist eine Tür 18 vorgesehen, die mittels einer Türverriegelung 19 verschließbar ist und um Scharniere 20 schwenkbar, so dass der Pressraum zur Entnahme des fertig gepressten, vorzugsweise umschnürten Ballens nach Entriegelung der Türverriegelung 19 geöffnet werden kann. Oberhalb der Tür 18 ist an der Stirnwand 16 zum Handling des Presskastens 11 ein Griff 17 angeordnet. Die Oberkanten der Presskastenteile 13, 14, 15 und 16 bilden die nach oben offene Einfüllöffnung 22.

In der horizontal liegenden unteren Seite des besagten Schenkels ist eine hinter der Rückwand 13 liegende Rastnut 44 angeordnet, die in dieser Arbeitsposition über den an der Rückwand 13 des Presskasten 11 angeordneten Bolzen 27 greift und somit den Presskasten 11 in der Arbeitsposition "Pressen" festhält.
Der nach oben gerichtete, gegenüber dem erst beschriebenen Schenkel schmalere Schenkel des Riegels 41 ist als Handgriff 43 ausgebildet. Durch ein an diesen Handgriff 43 und an dem Träger 46 angreifende Zugfeder 49 wird der andere, im wesentlichen horizontal liegende Schenkel des Riegels 41 mit der Rastnut 44 stets in die Position "Halten" gedrückt.
In der Darstellung gemäß Figur 3b ist der Presstempel 30 bereits weiter nach oben gefahren, die Klinke 34 greift an der Nase 42 des Riegels 41 an und schwenkt diesen unter Überwindung der Federkraft um den Lagerbolzen 45 schwenkend nach oben, so dass auch die Rastnut 44 angehoben wird und somit den Bolzen 27 frei gibt.

Nach Freigabe des Bolzen 27, siehe hierzu Figur 3c, kippt der Presskasten 11, aufgrund der zuvor schon beschriebenen speziellen Lage der horizontalen Achse 10, nach vorn in die Einfüllposition.
Die hier nach vorn erfolgende Kippbewegung wird durch vorzugsweise mit Dämpfungselementen versehenen, vorzugsweise an den Portalsäulen 4 angeordneten Sperrgliedern, die an den Presskasten 11 angreifen, begrenzt; auf eine zeichnerische Darstellung letzterer wurde hier verzichtet.
Die an der Rückwand 13 angeordnete, rippenartig ausgebildete Absinksperre 25 fährt während der Kippbewegung des Presskastens 11 nach vorn zwischen zwei Profilschienen 33 entlang und liegt bei vollständig vor gekippten Presskasten 11 unter einem Querteil des Hilfsrahmens 31.
Die Absenksperre 25 verhindert das der Presstempel 30 unter eine vorgegebene Position absinken kann und sichert somit, dass jederzeit der Presskasten 11 durch manuelle Betätigung wieder in die Position "Pressen", also in eine senkrechte Stellung geschoben werden kann. Hier ist zudem zu sehen, dass nach Passieren der Klinke 34 der Riegel 41 wieder in seine Ausgangsposition fällt. Wenn die Pressplatte 32 den Presshub beginnt und sich nach unten bewegt, läuft die Schräge 36 der Klinke 34 auf die Schräge der Nase 42 auf, schwenkt während ihres Vorbeilaufens um die Schwenkachse 35 nach oben und fällt nach Passieren der Nase 42 wieder in die Ausgangsposition zurück, dabei stützt sich ihre untere Fläche 38 vorzugsweise auf einer Profilschiene 33 ab.

Claims (6)

  1. Bale press with tippable press box, which is arranged below a press ram (30), which in the use state is vertically guided, within a press frame (2) and is tippable forwardly about an axis (10), which is horizontal in the use state, characterised in that the geometric longitudinal axis (10a) of the horizontal axle (10) lies behind a frontal plane, which extends through the body centre of gravity of the press box (11), as seen from an end wall (16) at the front side of the press box (11) and a locking unit (40) engaging at the press box (11) is provided at the rear side of the bale press.
  2. Bale press according to claim 1, characterised in that a catch (34), which actuates the locking unit (40) is arranged at the press ram (30).
  3. Bale press according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a descent lock (25), which is constructed to be rib-shaped, is arranged at the rear wall (13) of the press box (11).
  4. Bale press according to one of claims 1, 2 and 3, characterised in that a spring unit (39) acting on the press box (11) is arranged at the rear side of the press frame (2).
  5. Bale press according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that damping elements, which engage at part regions of the press box (11), for limitation of the tipping movement of the press box (11) are provided at the press frame (2).
  6. Method of freeing the opening of a filling shaft of a tippable press box for a bale press with a press ram (30) vertically guided in the use state, characterised in that the press ram (30) of the bale press actuates a locking unit, which engages at the press box (11), during the rearward stroke following, in vertically upward direction, the press movement so that the unlocked press box automatically tips about a longitudinal axis (10a) into an inclined position, wherein the longitudinal axis (10a) lies behind a frontal front, which extends through the body centre of gravity of the press box (11), as seen from an end wall (16) at the front side of the press box (11) and the opening of the filling shaft is substantially freely accessible in the inclined position.
