Abstract

In a channel block (7) for bridging drainage channels along or in paved areas, a projection (21, 22) is arranged in one piece on at least one end face (25) of the channel block and maintains the channel block at a distance from the following channel block, leaving a water drainage opening. Preferably, two such projections (21, 22) are provided, and the end faces (25) are arched forward and vaulted respectively and parallel approximately along a sine line. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a gutter stone for bridging gutters on paved surfaces.

On the edge or in the interior of paving surfaces, which are usually formed from so-called composite paving stones, channels are often provided for the purpose of ensuring water drainage, which are in some way covered with water-permeable components at the same level as the other paving surface. If the covering is done with so-called gutter stones, the outer contour of which can be adapted to the composite paving stones of the paving surface, a distance must be provided between these gutter stones to allow water to pass through. In order to maintain this distance, special spacing elements, for example mortar, have so far been inserted between the gutter stones. This is unsatisfactory because in this way it is often not possible to maintain uniform distances or the spacer elements easily fall out or are destroyed.

It is an object of the invention to remedy the shortcomings described and to propose a gutter stone, in particular for composite paving surfaces, which enables the permanent maintenance of uniform distances between the individual gutter stones.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that at least one projection is arranged on at least one side surface of the gutter stone, which keeps the gutter stone at a distance from the next gutter stone.

  • Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht einer Verbundstein-Pflasterfläche mit seitlich angeordneter, mit Rinnensteinen überbrückter Wasserablaufrinne;
  • Fig. 3 eine schaubildliche Ansicht eines Rinnensteins.
The following description of preferred embodiments of the invention serves in conjunction with the accompanying drawings for further explanation. Show it:
  • Figure 1 is a plan view of a composite stone paving surface with a laterally arranged, with gutter bridges water drainage channel.
  • Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line 2-2 in Fig. 1 and
  • Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a gutter stone.

The paving surface 1 shown in FIG. 1 comprises three types of composite paving stones. A so-called X-stone 2 has a contour that tapers in the middle in plan view. A so-called S-stone 3 is curved in an S-shape and an O-stone 4 is bulged on both sides. The mentioned composite blocks 2, 3 and 4 can also be present in halved form, in particular in order to produce edge closures.

All composite paving stones 2, 3 and 4 have in common that they are determined on their sides by the same, harmonic curves, namely sine or cosine curves. These harmonious curves lead to a particularly pleasant appearance of the paved surface and brin also numerous technical advantages when assembling the paving surface from its elements.

At the edge of the paving surface 1 there is a water drainage channel 5 in FIG. 1, which is shown in a cross-sectional view in FIG. Water flowing from the paved surface 1 flows into the channel 5 and runs from there into a sewer or the like. from. Such a channel 5 can also be provided in the inner region of a correspondingly inclined paving surface. In FIG. 1, the channel 5 is delimited on one side by the paving surface 1 and on the other side by curbs 6. The channel 5 is covered by S-shaped channel stones 7, which are arranged at mutual intervals to allow the water to flow into the channel 5. At certain points, the stones bridging the channel 5 can also be laid without spacing and in direct contact with one another, as is indicated in FIG. 1 by the reference numerals 8, 9 and 10. The stones bridging the channel, measured from face to face, have the same longitudinal extent as the other composite paving stones 2, 3 and 4 and are completely in accordance with these stones with regard to their outer contour determined by the harmonic curves mentioned.

Fig. 2 shows a possible design of the gutter covered with gutter stones. The actual channel 5 is or the like in a correspondingly profiled stone 11 made of concrete. trained, which has a practical length and is laid in the ground 12. A layer of gravel 13 is applied to the ground 12 and a layer of sand 14 is applied to this. The sand layer 14 receives the composite stones forming the paving and the curbs 6. The top Edge regions of the stone 11 containing the channel 5 carry two angle profiles 15, 16, the length of which may correspond approximately to the length of a stone 11. The angle profiles 15, 16 are bridged at intervals by webs 17. The webs 17 are firmly welded to the two angle profiles 15, 16. Legs 18 project downward from the webs 17, which ensure a certain positive connection of the arrangement formed from the angle profiles and the webs 17 to the channel 5.

The horizontal legs of the angle profiles 15, 16 serve to support the gutter stones 7, whereby, as can be seen from FIG. 2, these horizontal legs enlarge the contact surface of the gutter stones 7 so that they project freely over the gutter 5. Sand 19 is filled into the joints between the paving stones 2 or curbs 6 adjacent to the channel stones 7.

In order to keep the gutter stones' 7 permanently at regular mutual distances apart, 7 have the gutter stones at a curved in the form of a sine or cosine curve side surfaces two projections 21, 22 which hold the trough stone in the distance from the next succeeding overflow channel. Instead of two laterally arranged projections 21, 22, the S-shaped gutter block 7 could also have only a single projection in the middle, that is, between the two projections 21, 22 shown in FIG. 3.

The gutter block 7 is preferably cast from concrete in a mold, the projections 21, 22 being predetermined by the mold and being cast in one piece. The production of the gutter stone 7 is very simple in this way.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, the surfaces 23, 24 of the projections 21 and 22 which are in contact with the next gutter stone are also curved in such a way that a uniform fit is ensured on the correspondingly curved rear side of the next gutter stone.

In Fig. 3 the gutter bridging the gutter 5 has an S-shaped configuration corresponding to the composite paving stone 3. However, this contour is not important in the implementation of the invention. Spacers in the manner of the projections 21, 22 can also be attached in one piece to gutter stones of a different shape.

The projections 21, 22 of the gutter block 7 shown in FIG. 3 have yet another function. As shown, the side surface 25 of the stone 7 bulges forward between the projections 21, 22. If the projections 21, 22 were not present and the gutter stone would only rest on the edges of the gutter 5 with its lateral edge regions corresponding to the front edges, then when the stone is loaded in its bulging region, for example when stepping on it with a foot, a tipping of the stone occur. Such tilting is avoided if the projections 21, 22, which are integrally connected to the stone 7, project in the direction of the bulging of the side surface 25.
