Abstract

1. A metal window, consisting of a glazed window frame (1) or a window frame and a glazed casement (3) in which the window frame or the window frame and the casement in each case consist of an inner and an outer hollow section, between which the glazing (3) is disposed, which comprise projecting profiles (11, 12) for connecting elements (6) and which are held at a predetermined spacing from one another, the connecting elements in each case consisting of two connecting parts (14, 15) which engage positively and/or non-positively over the facing profiles of the hollow sections and each of which project via a flange (16 or 17) between the profiles to determine the spacing, characterised in that the hollow sections are rolled sections and the connecting parts (14, 15) are braced together by means of a screw bolt (18) guided through the flanges, in that the profiles (11, 12) comprise a hollow cross-section which broadens in the direction of the connecting elements, i.e. in the direction of the respective facing profile, and their clear cross-section leads into the clear cross-section of the hollow sections, and in that the connecting elements cooperate with the profiles such that, by screwing the screw bolt (18) onto the broadening areas (19, 20) of the profiles (11, 12), a tension acting in the direction of the glazing is built up, as a result of which the latter is braced between the hollow sections.

Description

The invention relates to a metal door, in particular a fire door, consisting of a frame with an articulated door leaf having a frame, the frame and / or the frame each consisting of an inner shell and an outer shell made of roll-profiled hollow profiles, the inner shell and the outer shell by one another distanced connecting elements are connected and held on a predetermined section.

Doors consisting of two shells, in particular fire doors, are known per se (DE-OS 27 22 834). The connection between the outer shell and the inner shell is made by welding bridges, which significantly reduce the heat transfer from one shell to the other.

It is also known (CH-PS 161 504) to make the connection between the outer shell and the inner shell by means of screw connections, in such a way that one of the shells has welded-on sleeves with an internal thread, into which screws passed through the other shell are screwed . A rational production is not possible due to the complex manual work.

It is also known (DE-OS 25 39 356) to produce double-shell frame profiles in such a way that recesses are punched into a profile, which are separated by webs are separated from one another, or to form beads into a profile from one side, which are on the other side against another profile and are connected to this by a welded connection. Such doors require considerable manufacturing effort. In addition, it was shown in fire tests that the profiles in the area of the connection points are destroyed after a relatively short time by the thermal stresses that occur.

The object of the invention is to design metal doors, in particular fire doors of the type mentioned at the outset, in such a way that the doors are destroyed, if at all, only after a considerable length of time. In addition, the production should be as rational as possible.

The invention further relates to metal windows consisting of. a window frame with fixed glazing or with at least one glazed sash frame, the sash frame and / or the window frame each consisting of an inner shell and an outer shell of roll-profiled hollow profiles, the inner shell and the outer shell have profiles for mutually distant connecting elements and are kept at a predetermined distance are.

Windows consisting of two shells are known per se (DE-OS 27 22 836). The connection between the outer shell and the inner shell is made by welding bridges, which significantly reduce the heat transfer from one shell to the other.

Windows are also known (prospectus insulating RP pipes from Mannesmannröhren-Werke), the inner shell and outer shell of which have mutually opposed open C-profiles, into which complementary double-T-shaped plastic blocks spaced apart from one another are pressed.

These known windows generally require considerable manufacturing effort. In the latter case, the windows are excluded as fire protection windows, since the plastic connecting elements can be destroyed shortly after fires have started.

The object of the invention is to design windows of this type in such a way that they can be installed generally and also as fire protection windows.

The object is achieved according to the invention in metal windows in that the inner shell and the outer shell have mutually facing profiles, the connecting elements each consist of two connecting parts, the connecting parts engage positively and / or non-positively over the associated profiles and each have a web between the mutually facing profiles reach for specifying the distance and that the connecting parts are clamped together by means of screw bolts guided through the webs. It was shown by fire tests that these measures according to the invention) a fire protection door is created which is stable for a much longer time than the previously known even at extremely high temperatures.

If it is not intended from the outset to use such doors as fire protection doors, these connecting elements could in principle consist of easily deformable material, e.g. made of plastic material. However, it was found that a stable connection is created if the connecting elements are manufactured according to the invention from rolled steel profiles, which have the particular advantage that they can withstand extreme loads even with smaller dimensions.

The object is achieved for metal windows according to the invention characterized in that the connecting elements consist of two connecting parts, the connecting parts form- rofolierungen the associated P and / or overlap positively and each having a web between the facing profiles access for setting the distance and that the connecting parts are clamped together by means of screw bolts passed through the webs.

These measures create a universally usable window, which is particularly resistant to high temperatures and is also quick and easy to assemble.

According to a preferred embodiment, the profiles have a widening cross section in the direction of the facing profile, the connecting parts having an essentially T-shaped cross section and having complementary contact surfaces for the profiles. It was found that connecting parts designed in this way can be easily produced from correspondingly rolled steel profiles.

The invention is explained in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment for a metal window and a fire door. Show it:
  • 1 is a perspective view and a detail of an embodiment of a metal window,
  • 2 shows a section perpendicular to the frame of the metal window according to FIG. 1,
  • Fig. 3 in perspective and in detail an embodiment of a fire door and
  • Fig. 4 shows a section perpendicular to the door leaf of the fire door.

Zwischen dem Außenrahmen und dem Innenrahmen 7 des Flügelrahmens ist die Scheibe 3 unter Zwischenschaltung der Dichtungen 9 und 10 angeordnet.1 and 2 show an exemplary embodiment of a metal window which has a window frame 1 and a casement 2 hinged to the window frame with a pane 3. The window frame consists of an inner shell 4 and an outer shell 5, which are connected to one another by connecting elements 6 according to the invention. The sash frame also consists of an inner shell and an outer shell, which are denoted by 7 and 8, respectively, and which are also connected to one another by connecting elements 6 according to the invention. The disc 3 is arranged between the outer frame and the inner frame 7 of the casement with the interposition of the seals 9 and 10.

The inner shells and outer shells have profiles 11 and 12, which are symmetrical to each other. In the exemplary embodiment, these profiles have a widening cross section in the direction of the assigned profile. The connecting elements each consist of a connecting part 14 and a connecting part 15, each of which has a substantially T-shaped cross section and which have complementary contact surfaces for the profiles. The connecting parts each engage with a web 16 or 17 between the profiles and specify the distance between the inner and outer shell, taking into account the thickness of the glass pane. The two connecting parts of each connecting element are screwed together by a bolt 18 screwed in by the webs. The connecting parts consist of rolled steel profile sections, so that they can have a relatively small width (perpendicular to the plane of the drawing).

To assemble the window frame, the inner shell with the seal, the glass pane and the outer shell with the seal is arranged horizontally one above the other and centered so that the profiles point towards each other. Then, between the profiles through the connecting parts 14, which are already connected to each other via a screw bolt with a corresponding other connecting element 15, inserted are being based during the insertion of the connecting portions 14 to the plane of the drawing by 90 0 pivoted. After insertion, they are rotated by 90 ° so that they engage behind the assigned profiles when the screws are tightened.

Entsprechend wird beim Zusammenbau des Flügelrahmens verfahren. The same procedure is followed when assembling the casement.

A major advantage is that during the tightening of the bolts onto the profile areas 19 and 20 of the inner shell or the outer shell, a prestress acting in the direction of the washer is built up, so that the inner shell and outer shell bear against the seals and thus the washer cannot be moved hold.

In fire tests, it was found that these prestresses hold the panes in place and that the windows according to the invention are only destroyed by fires after a much longer time (broken windows) than the known windows.

Die Zarge besteht aus der Innenschale 25 und der Außenschale 26, die distanziert zueinander angeordnet sind und durch die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungselemente 27 miteinander verbunden sind.3, the metal door according to the invention consists of a frame 21 and a frame 22 hinged to the frame by means of hinge straps 23, into which a glass pane 24 is inserted. The frame consists of the inner shell 25 and the outer shell 26 which are arranged at a distance from one another and are connected to one another by the connecting elements 27 according to the invention.

The frame 22 also consists of an inner shell and an outer shell, which are designated 28 and 29, respectively, and which are likewise connected to one another by the connecting elements 27 according to the invention. The disc 24 is arranged between the inner shell 28 and the outer shell 29 of the frame articulated to the frame with the interposition of the seals 30 and 31.

Die Verbindungsteile bestehen aus gewalzten Stahlprofilabschnitten, so daß sie eine relativ geringe Breite (senkrecht zur Zeichnungsebene der Fig. 4) aufweisen können.4, the inner shells and outer shells have profiles 32 and 33, which are symmetrical to each other. In the exemplary embodiment, these profiles have a widening cross section. The connecting elements each consist of a connecting part 35 and a connecting part 36, each having an essentially T-shaped cross section and having complementary contact surfaces for the profiles. The connecting parts each engage with a web 37 or 38 between the profiles and specify the distance between the inner shells and the outer shells. The two connecting parts of each connecting element are screwed together by a bolt 39 screwed in by the webs. The connecting parts consist of rolled steel profile sections, so that they can have a relatively small width (perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 4).

To assemble the door leaf, the inner shell with the seal, the glass pane and the outer shell with the seal are arranged one above the other and centered so that the profiles point towards each other. Subsequently, the connecting parts 35, which are already connected to the corresponding other connecting part 36 via a screw bolt, are inserted between the profiles, the connecting parts being pivoted through 90 ° to the drawing plane of FIG. 4 during the insertion. After inserting who which they rotated by 90 ° so that they grip behind the profiles when tightening the bolts.

Entsprechend wird beim Zusammenbau der Zarge verfahren. The same procedure is followed when assembling the frame.

A major advantage is also that during the tightening of the bolts onto the profile areas 40 and 39 of the inner shell or outer shell of the door leaf, a prestress acting in the direction of the pane is built up, which press against the seals and thus hold the pane immovably.

In fire tests, it was also found that these prestresses hold the panes firmly in place and that the door according to the invention is only destroyed by a fire after a much longer time (broken windows) than the known fire doors. Of course, a panel made of mineral wool (asbestos) and metal surfaces can be used instead of a glass pane.
