Die Augabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Hohlprofile walzprofiliert sind und die Verbindungsteile mittels eines durch die Stege hindurchgeführten Schraubbolzens miteinander verspannt sind, daß die Profilierungen einen sich in Richtung der Verbindungselemente, d.h. in Richtung der jeweils zugewandten Profilierung, verbreiternden Hohlquerschnitt haben und ihr lichter Querschnitt in den lichten Querschnitt der Hohlprofile mündet, und daß die Verbindungselemente derart mit den Profilierungen zusammenwirken, daß durch das Anziehen des Schraubbolzens auf die verbreiternden Bereiche der Profilierungen eine in Richtung der Verglasung wirkende Spannung aufgebaut wird, wodurch diese zwischen den Hohlprofilen verspannt wird.
