- the threaded part 11 thus presses directly on the ring 2 when the screw 12 is tightened, thus indirectly fixing the crystal to the box since said crystal is glued to the ring itself tight against the middle.
- the seal is ensured, on the one hand, by the seal 4 housed in the notch 13 formed on the underside of the ring and, on the other hand, by the glue interposed between the glass and the face top of the ring.
- the present invention provides for machining a groove 21 on the upper face of the ring 2.
- This groove not only has the advantage of receiving the excess glue and thus preventing it from drooling on the inner edge of the ring, but also ensures a continuous sealing bead over the entire circumference formed by the groove.

- a fairly large space is left between the lower end of the threaded portion 35 and the bottom of the opening 37 to allow the claw to bear directly on the glass when the screw 12 is tightened, the head 18 of which rests on clearance 19 made in the underside of the middle.
- Figures 1, 2 and 5 show that the claw is arranged projecting around the circumference of the middle part. It is however obvious that we could conceive of another arrangement where this claw penetrates into the side of the middle to be flush with it.
- FIG. 1 shows this metallization in the form of sectors 40 and of lines 41 which at the same time represent the hour markers. It is clear that any other form of decoration is possible.
